  1. I'm sorry if I'm saying it wrong, but i'm glad you know what i ment... It could be worse. I knew a guy who called them red chipmunks. But yeah, they are actually called chinchompas. And sorry if I seem insulting from that. I wasn't trying to be mean, it's just my sarcastic nature. Damn sarcastic nature!
  2. If you try to hunt the red chickmocks, you'll be incredibly frustrated, because you'll be searching for something that doesn't actually exist. Now, red chinchompas, on the other hand... those bring in up to 850 each, starting at 63 hunter. Catching those from 63 to 99 hunter will net you 30 million plus, with a fancy skill cape to boot.
  3. Well, time how long it takes to drop a full load of logs, and compare it to the time needed to bank a full load and return to the trees. Plus, I think the extra experience per hour at teaks would take a fairly shorter time even if it took you a bit longer to drop the logs rather than bank them. Of course, you could always bring a tinderbox and burn the logs for some extra firemaking experience.
  4. Yeah, probably. The safespot is a bit weird, but it works.
  5. Lesser demons: In the Karamja volcano, there's a safespot for the lessers. You can find it, because it's obvious and someone will probably be there as well. White Knights: Falador Castle/Palace, whatever it's called. Mage them from the other side of a table or other obstacle. Hill Giants: Edgeville dungeon, but it's usually crowded... plenty of safespots though. Moss Giants: Few safespots, but tend to be crowded. Varrock sewers.
  6. Get a shortbow, because in all honesty, longblows (sorry, did I say that? I meant longbows) are only good for fletching.
  7. Lesser demons are good, but you might want to save those until around 50 magic or so. Before that... maybe moss or hill giants, or white knights perhaps.
  8. Check the Guides forum on this site. Muggiwhplar's is still worthwhile, and they are some other good ones as well.
  9. It's how I got my first two months as a member. :) Just subscribe using a Visa, put your name as the card holder.
  10. Yeah, I tried it without the blasts once... didn't work. However, you can do it with 55 magic, a magic potion, and a bit of good timing/luck.
  11. Yup, that's the castle. First set of stairs by the entrance, the mage is under them.
  12. I've never published my mid-economy Barrows guide, but here's my setup: Head: Neitiznot Torso: Torag's platebody Legs: Verac's plateskirt > Torag's platelegs (Verac has prayer bonus) Shield: Unholy book + rune defender Weapon: Slayer staff + abyssal whip/dragon scimitar (+DDS if meleeing Karil) Cape: God cape Amulet: Amulet of Glory Gloves: Highest RFD gloves > ([bleep]ed) vambraces Boots: Dragon boots > rune boots > mystic/infinity boots Bring 150 casts, a prayer potion or two, a (super) defence potion, dragonhide body + chaps, and either a crossbow or magic shortbow. Use mithril or higher bolts/arrows. Fill the rest with monkfish.
  13. In the case of bolts versus knives, bolts would probably be a lot more effective. They cut through pretty easily at your ranged level and a decent ranged attack bonus.
  14. Bolts are better than knives, in that case, but you'd be better off using a bone crossbow + bone bolts. Extremely cost effective. But if you decide to use mithril bolts, I'd suggest killing something that might make you your money back, at least: fire giants, blue dragons or lesser/greater demons, for example.
  15. Does armor matter from a safespot? All you need is strength/attack bonus, so I suggest dragon boots, a fighter torso, Neitiznot helm... the usual kind of stuff. Can't get much better than what you already have, too.
  16. Aaaand this affects gameplay how? I'd like to think my name is original... but I'd probably change it if I could. I have a whole sheet of original ideas that I'd like to use...
  17. But we can still laugh at you for all time! By the way, I checked, and "Zezmia" ....Does not exist. We hate stupid people here at Tip.It, and posting something so idiotic is, in itself, going to be a greaaaaat inside joke far in the future. Let's get some siggy'ing in here, everyone! :D Hehe. Silliness aside, setting smaller side goals is much better. You'll pretty much never beat someone like Zezima. "Zezmia", maybe...But he/she doesn't exist. :P Lenty... I love ya, man... you're a great friend... shut up. And to everyone that wanted it locked: why didn't you report it as a spam fest? I just did, nobody else had reported it yet. :-s
  18. Dragon scimitar, but use the dagger specials when you've got 'em. Preferably not poisoned, unless you're fighting a pretty tough monster with lots of health.
  19. 69 with tea and saw, I highly suggest using them. 67 cons.... 75 to get altar tea = 5 lvls c saw = 3 75-5-3 = 67 ;) Tea only gives +1-3. But Stew = +6 and Crystal Saw = +3 You can get at level 64 construction. With a lot of stews, and a hell of a lot of luck.
  20. I've gotten a few presents (getting like 3M from a friend this year :o) and I've given a few myself. Just bought myself a few presents, too, hee hee. ;)
  21. Maybe it's specific to fight caves? Maybe it only works on some monsters? Maybe the powers at be do not want you to know it was really stuck behind a rock and a snowman happened to be built there. I'm pretty sure that you can't walk through the piles of snow created by the snow globe.
  22. Please rant somewhere else, since this isn't actually a rant. ;) Besides, botting wasn't the only thing they "killed"... Lucky you, 12une. You left at the so-called peak of RuneScape. I don't think I'll be returning myself, actually. Don't give a damn about the Wilderness myself, but the trading update isn't just the nail in the coffin, it's nearly the whole shebang. Try not to miss the game too much, and good luck out there.
  23. Damn it, I was going to use that exact same title for when I got my Fire Cape (hopefully soon)! :P Congrats, and have you tried burn cream for your back? I hear it works wonders.
  24. I'd suggest at least 40 attack, and at least 30 strength and defence. Wear the best armor you can, use a rune longsword or battleaxe (don't slash), bring a strength potion and lobsters, and don't forget that anti-dragon shield! ;)
  25. You better have 75+ RC when I return, neeb.
