  1. I won't get excited until we know what the plot is.
  2. LIES I keep hearing about how the man blurts out random stuff about possible content every other day or so. Anyway... I don't think the iPhone is suitable for RS.
  3. Well, I prefer anything that doesn't drop me on my [wagon] a gazillion times or involve large amounts of poisoned [bleep]es/swamps/tiny spiders/scarab swarms. Or "Sideshow Bob rake" traps.
  4. If they're coming out with Mourning's End 3, it better not be anything like that insane maze. I've had it up to here with that whole western region and the traps upon traps. :(
  5. Elemental workshop 3? Finally, that thing's been there forever, and even though there's a good chance that the resulting equipment will be close to useless (besides probably better armor vs skeletal wyverns), I think about that unopenable "body" door a lot. I am not looking forward to Rag and Bone man 2. But....mining/fishing? What's that about? And which area is that map from? It's been a while for me.
  6. Old news but still. Well, nuts.
  7. Eh, I prefer to think of the game as nearing mid-late life cycle, and that the ride, while bumpy but perhaps fun of some sort, is gearing down as the game nears some sort of climax. But that's not close yet....relatively speaking. In the meanwhile I think for the most part it's time to take a rest if you're searching for new content, and perhaps round out areas that you may be lacking in with the existing activities. There's so much content that if you've truly played everything in the game, I would have expected you to be somewhat tired of the whole thing.
  8. Heh, well, think about it. If they had metals as hard as that in their world, just think of how tough their trees would be. Warrior races often arise in a land that is harsh and unforgiving, and their wildlife would be no different. If we had dragon nails, if I tried to work them into construction, using any other hammer than a blast fusion type would just bend the hammer, and as soon as I would attempt to blast fusion a piece of furniture, I'd end up crushing the planks, my workbench, and the wood flooring. Plus the hammer. But by George, that nail would be well fastened to the earth beneath. Edit: lava isn't necessary when you're trying to make a piece of furniture, unless it's Tzhaar furniture. I wouldn't want to sit on a couch hot enough to cook breakfast on, though.
  9. Aw, now you made me think about how they should make snake-in-a-basket some sort of ranged weapon. "SURPRISE!" "AGH!"
  10. Heh, good luck getting near those thrones, the door is blocked by a lavafall.
  11. Heh, I already knew about the pineapple plants, but it didn't occur to me with the somewhat recent update in farming that I could exploit leprechaun goodwill by noting them. Great idea. Ah, someday Internet payment will be a bit easier than they do it now. All this overhead is annoying. I actually went to these kinds of sites pretty fast after hitting a certain maze in Draynor Manor.....it was fun to escort others afterwards for gold. Those days may be over, but still, good times. :D
  12. I guess it's time to break out the yak gear and [bleep]ed boots.... Incidently if those two are required this won't exactly be low level.
  13. Well, it could be, but at the same time I don't think they'd bother to put an actual graphic there if they know they're gonna ditch it within a week or so.
  14. Granted it's cool and all but I find it kinda creepy that somebody on their end is skimming about in here on a regular basis. Nothing wrong with that, I just get that "being watched" feeling now. :? Heh, not that anything I do is of much importance anyway. :P
  15. Hey, waypoints aren't just for newbs. There are certain places where a person can get easily lost when the map displays a big blotch of color rather than any meaningful structure indicators. In particular, I'd like to have some arrows point me towards things in the desert since the darn area's so large and featureless in between landmarks that when I'm traveling on foot, I often go way off from what I meant to do. Also some of us can't quite recall step for step how to navigate the Sanguinesti region.
  16. Whoops, wrong thread. Hm....something relevant.... A while before, 26king was driving inflation, which means prices were going up... Then after they stopped that, I guess demand went down. Not that demand is low, I mean it's just lower. Due to less buying capacity. Or whatnot. I'm not really sure if they even stopped it, so it could go right back to where they started.
  17. FFS Now they fix it.
  18. Well, at one point, it was fertile, but of course the wars scorched everything. It seems that there is something else trying to hold back the reclamation of land by nature, but for the most part even the most scarred earth holds nutrients for plants.
  19. Before whatever age that Zaros rose up to power in, both the desert and the lands of Morytania were all forest. Or at least, large parts of it was. It pains me to think of all the woodcutting potential the area used to have.
  20. Okay, look.....never mind. You guys saw this already, right? Seriously, I think the reason why we can't have good stuff anymore is cause everybody always second guessing second guessing second guessing. Why can't you get your heads outta your [wagon] and start trying to be helpful for once? I mean, this game's already cheaper than almost every other MMO out there, you could start being realistic about your expectations for once. Also, I think it's funny how having the name of the game or company on it would be "ugly" even though you're all fans of the game. Or are you just a bunch of secret masochists? (I think if anything, a good reason to not have the name on it would be to hide the place that you use it for so that nobody will steal it and be able to know what you could use it for. Then again, they probably would know your username if they were trying to steal it, so at this point trying to hide its purpose would be meaningless.)
  21. Incidently, you can get your bull roarer back by trading in a cooked oomlie wrap with any of the jungle foresters. It was a minor update a while back.
  22. Yeah, I've "received" quite a few choice bits of hardware over the years due to people not caring enough about their computer to just replace one part.
  23. I don't think enchanted rings can be imbued, seeing as they become objects with a charge counter after being enchanted. I'd hate to waste that many points on something that will break once I use it up.... Same thoughts on the other way around. Best guess on the lunar ring is if it can't be stored afterwards, somebody will bring it up and they'll probably fix it in a future patch.
  24. Do I have to say it again? Because I am anyway. The only alternate solution I see anybody else proposing is that somehow the playerbase gets smarter. We already tried that with the stronghold of security, remember? Regardless of the fact that they actually attempted to do that, I will still partake in one good minute of literal LOLing. Seriously, if you got anything better, let's hear it. (Note: Of course members have to pay for it. It's a physical piece of hardware. Nice as they are about the situation, they're not giving out free highly valuable candy.)
  25. Okay, that one about the dairy farmer.....how did anybody even think to put that in there?
