10th July 2009 - The Jagex Anti-Hijack System and DevBlog
Sorry to dust this old reply off, but I still think you're reading too much into this and that they're trying to come up with solutions and on the whole, the concept isn't that bad.... I still don't know why everybody's so paranoid all the time and act like they're some evil organization that's out to get you when your back is turned. I couldn't play a game if I had to worry about that every minute I'm logged in. They ain't no Viacom, that's for sure.

BE ADVISED
Not that it's an excuse or anything, but the last time somebody claimed that this happened, it turned out to be a huge lie, and the team spent like half a day or something like that trying to find it until they figured it out. I can't exactly blame them for being angry about something like that. (You guys remember, right? Around the time when the game went nuts and allowed multitasking and the monsters stopped fighting back?) It's just that we can't expect them to be mature if the playerbase acts like jerks just to try to exploit the goodwill of the staff. (Also, if you want to be taken seriously you shouldn't type in all caps.)

Yeah. It's an allusion. Ever heard of one?

Funny Examines!
If you're wondering about the mummy description, you should try casting a fire spell on them some time.

This Weeks Update to be "Low Key"
Thanks to the previous series of actions Jagex has taken, it is now impossible to tell what the heck they're up to. Those guys got you good.

Tip.It Times: 5 July 2009
I looked over the articles and there doesn't seem to be any quality issues, but I do think that people may not have interest in either history about something that they never took part in or did take part in but are over it, or ways to communicate since they don't use them or never really needed them. Yeah, I know, it's nicely written but people are selfish like that. As for the fictional articles, I don't read them, but I assume they serve a constant purpose that doesn't need much scrutiny unless they're really boring. I don't see many people these days who play RS for the stories, interesting as they are. You could always try to ask people what they would like to read about before starting on the next article. Or you could just ignore them if you're not trying to please everybody. On a sidenote, I feel that Jagex could use a PM system in their message boards (plus perhaps a visual overhaul so that I don't feel like I'm in the nineties), although I have to say that having a "bump" button sort of makes things a lot easier. Oh, and I think we try to compensate for lack of body language with silly emotes.

I'm sure you all agree... SURPRISING ANALYSIS - 4TH LINK
Ooh, ooh! I got a softball for ya! What about all the newbies coming into the game that have to deal with initially higher prices?

Dragon X Bow?
I think you're all reading too much into this, that it's just a fancy wall decoration, and we will never be able to wield it because it is just a fancy wall decoration that everybody blew out of proportion and will be majorly disappointed when some j mod comes along later to burst that bubble. Frankly, I don't know what they have against releasing things that we really think are cool instead of stuff that nobody thinks looks cool at all (frankly, I don't know why they had to make dragon plate look so ridiculous compared to the concept sketch), and why everybody keeps expecting them to do otherwise when its been years of this kind of treatment.

Goldfarming Banned in China
All I really see this doing is just driving whoever is doing this deeper into the underground, and not much changing after the dust settles. The internet is really its own violent, nonphysical unregulated country (beyond the scant self-regulation that resembles early tribal organization), and I could do just as much by declaring war on cute kitten pictures. It's about as effective as the pope condemning violence. It would be fun to assume all the Catholic murderers are going to drop their weapons because the pope said so.

Finally the dragon pick axe!
Frankly, I'd rather they bridge the gap between mith and addy.

"5 Questions" with JMods - Long read [Facebook]
Don't you get it? This stuff IS what J-mods have running through their heads. Why do you think nothing ever gets done around here? On a more serious note, it would be pretty cool if they somehow put an alternate realm into the game where the NPCs were forced to attend a party with each other in it.

Welcome Splash Screen Fix Coming
Huh. Now that I think about it, I've never really heard of anybody doing this kind of thing without cookies. What would the solution entail?

Mysterious Skeleton in Wilderness Volcano?
Well, considering that demons turn to ash when they are killed, I do not think there would be enough to reanimate anything.

Future Update Clue or Just a Poem?
Has anybody tried to talk to them with the ghost robes on?

Future Update Clue or Just a Poem?
Er, it sounds like a vampir-I mean, vyre lured him into a trap and forced him to stay bound to the land forever as a singing ghost for her amusement.

Is RS Your 'Dirty Little Secret?'
Once, when I was at a bus stop, a small group of kids were annoying passersby to see if any of them ever played RS, and if they did, they would ask if they could give them their account since the person being asked would be likely inactive. I thought it was pretty funny. RL begzors.

Tip.It Times: 14 June 2009
While a weapon with a speed of 10 would have infinite attack speed, such a weapon would not necessarily cause the game to crash. It would, however, instantaneously kill anything as soon as you hit them, save for monsters immune to the weapon, in which case the game would crash after hitting maximum capacity for memory or whatnot. Should anybody get ahold of one of these suckers, I'd certainly advise against trying to hit some slayer monsters or vyrewatch.

Mod Mat K & Manipulator clans Debate
Yep, he's right. Outside the GE, you can't trade too far out of the price range of an item even with a large trade limit from doing quests.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
Well.....y'know, you could always go into raw material production. There's more room for you now! Switching topics......laying a trail of yews to lure bots to their death was pretty smart. I wish I knew that worked.

New multitasking abilities? (party's over for now)
Nope, they sucked every bit of fun out again. Ha. ...... *cries*

Game-engine Improvements by Andrew 11-Jun-2009
All in all, I think we should pay attention whenever a fundamental part of the game code gets altered. :D

I meant banwise. Concerning the monster AI thing. But as always, it was largely impractical anyway.... Still, they have to maintain some image of having control over their own creation. Having to let players run free whenever something bad happens can't be helping.

9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
A bit late, but I'd like to note that the seaweed basket has a bit of a high chance of breaking spontaneously when you put a seaweed in it, spilling the entire contents of the basket on the floor. Yep, utterly useless.

At this point, I'm beginning to think that they've just stopped caring about this stuff happening whenever a glitch goes off.

Eh, the monster AI being cut off was a fluke, I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. The more we try to bring understanding with each other, I think the more we could get out of this whole sack of madness.
