  1. The prices could use a little rebalancing, but I think it should be "maul = 300k" and main chaotic is 200k, offhand is 100k. (shields stay 200k, as it already cost 400k in main game to get a 1h chaotic + shield)
  2. If you care about max efficiency, (as in you cannon when possible + piety/turmoil + extreme/ovl every task) they are not worth doing. Skip them. However if you don't use cannon anywhere, they don't compare as bad. I suggest doing the guards over babies due to chance at whipvine. Make sure to keep room for noted drops. You won't need any food if you use soul split flicking. They drop plenty of food. I'd suggest a bunyip just for ease of regaining health, since it makes you ss less. Unicorn isn't really necessary. I know you've already done the task, but those are my thoughts on jadinko tasks. (I skip them, and aim for cannon tasks) ... 10% bonus xp? What is this? :wall: You get zero slayer xp when not on task. They give 100% bonus slayer xp just like any other slayer task, slayer only monster or not.
  3. 315-350 is a pretty good estimate, though it does depend quite a bit on what gear you have. You probably need around 20-25m to get 99 ranged from 89..
  4. Artisan Workshop is very expensive.
  5. Its not perfect. It appears to show clan xp, but if there was no one else gaining any xp ever in the clan, you can track all gains since clan start.
  6. Wish they didn't have to be that extreme. I don't think chaotics should be halfed, since you only need both if you want max damage. Having a shield is perfectly fine.
  7. Trackers update every 24 hours. However highscores only update when a character logs off. The maximum time between log-offs is 6 hours due to the automatic kick if you are logged on for 6 hours straight. You can trick a tracker into lasting an additional 6 hrs (for 30 hrs total) by starting exactly 6 hours before the tracker time. Assume tracker updates at midnight your timezone, then start just after 6pm, and make sure to never log off. This also goes the other way, you *must* log off just before tracker time in order for anything done to "post" to the high scores for a tracker to grab it.
  8. They don't have 100% details on some of the original accounts, because it was two guys in a garage originally. However, I do believe they had account details for accounts before members. They also could set the date of any account before they tracked to the date of tracking start... Something like classic vs rs2 is a lot different because some accounts that are newer than rs2 have access to classic due to events that gave access. I imagine that keeping track of account creation date is important. Lets hope they have good data, cause I want my 10yr cape.
  9. Why is not giving you something a penalty? Yes you may not have the opportunity to take part in the event that gives a reward, but that is not the same thing as someone actively taking something away from you. Yes, I would like to see them reward all beta testers, but not rewarding you doesn't mean they are actively penalizing you.
  10. Aren't they free from the dg reward shop in beta? And I just looked it up, unlike some dg items it has no intrisinc dg requirement.

  12. The beta will desperately need a tutorial for all the changes in numbers and combat systems. Too much has changed and it doesn't have direct correlations (difference between +str bonus and +crit % bonus for example) or how to navigate the interfaces properly.. (Hoping a bunch of this is simplified and fixed but...)
  13. Lep, I think it depends on where you live. Here, summer is usually pretty mild, though it can be sweltering. The difference is that in fall, it gets to rainy and wet to do the summer activities. Winter is overall just.. dreary here. But I do agree I much prefer fall/spring over summer. And I do enjoy winter, just for different reasons.
  14. I like the idea of customizable colors. But I think it really only should be allowed on the very top end capes like it is now. The reason is that it is a prestige feature to be able to color the game how you want. Though I wouldn't mind the option on the 10yr cape.. I like the idea of keeping it exclusive to the max/comp capes.

  16. It should be good enough to allow groups, but not good enough to prevent solo slayer :) Right now duo slayer is not a real option because you can only meet people when on the same task. Which doesn't happen that often.
  17. If you only want a tip about what to do next, we have to know where you are stuck. The guides give fully detailed spoilers for the entire quest and they will easily get you through without other help.
  18. You get a hit-negative pentalty. Take a look at the data with and without armor on it should change your %chance to hit. (Wish this was more obvious)
  19. I'm sure just about everywhere is nicer since you can bring familiars (ala steel titan), especially places like kuradels.
  20. Quyneax is right, though I would bring renews, and max range bonus. Especially if cost is no issue,then you cna bring flasks instead. The reason is that the prayer bonus only extends your trip. But you don't want more than an hr or two of chins on you anyways, because you might die on accident. Maximising range bonus is important because you'll get fewer misses, and slightly more xp/hr. It depends on your preference though. Having higher prayer bonus is perfectly good goal.
  21. I'd suggest addy bolts, or magic longbows, but they really don't compare to the broad arrows. According to Grimy's spreadsheets, it will be around 540k xp/hr at the cost of 3.6m gp an hr, just about 6.75gp/xp (not super bad) Magic longbows will be 210k xp/hr costing just under 0.5gp per xp. Addy bolts will be about 315k/hr and cost about 1.2 gp/xp. Your current method if you are making yew unstrung bows is 141k/hr at 0.2gp/xp, if you are stringing yew longs it is 170k/xp at a PROFIT of 0.4 gp/xp. (Profit of nearly 70k/hr) Personally i would do addy bolts, because I value my time and would rather not spend it fletching. However, if you are able to purchase unstrung yewlongs at ge-mid price and sell yews at ge-mid price then it could be worth doing those (Make sure you only string, rather than fletch, it IS faster). If you make the full bow you'll get about an average between the two leaning slightly towards averaging closer to the yew->unstrung process because you have to spend a little bit more time doing that. I don't have an exact calculation though.
  22. It really depends on what you call game changing... New elite diary, runespan, SoF (along with it all the buyable spins). If you've kept membership then you might have quite a few loyalty points stocked up as well.
  23. Some things haven't changed yet, but a lot of things have. I'm not sure I have a full list, though the list above is useful. It depends on what you want to do. None of the stuff above has been 100% outdated (it is still functionally useful at various places) But I would definitely wait until combat beta is pushed to live game before making any purchases. Things will change so rapidly you could lose a lot. (Though if you're smart you can win a lot due to other's panics, as well) Fishing/Woodcutting are not at all passable as money makers now. Depending on skills and quests you want to do some monsters are decent, though farming herbs is probably the easiest consistent one.
  24. That would be... awesome. As for the 10yrs, it depends on when they started tracking account creation date. I've been playing since before members, so definitely 10yrs. I really hope that 10yr cape is awesome cause I want it to look cool and have a good emote. I hope that duo is awesome for people who legitimately duo tasks, but they have some system to minimize/prevent/(incentivize people to not) abuse it to have double the skips. (Though I would defintely use it if it becomes "allowed") (<3 skipping additional tasks that I don't want)
