People, this is the rants forum for a reason, a place for people to vent their frustrations, and obviously, the poster didn't like a change, so they ranted about it. who says that all rants must be about giant changes in the game? And admittedly, the chest does look like crap now, so seriously, you are all bashing them because of this, when they were using this forum to rant.

All those ancient beast skeletons are generics. They are all over the wilderness, but are much more concentrated here. there are many other three headed beast skeletons in the wilderness.

OOC: I may have misunderstood the skill creation thing, but when it says i need 2 points to advance to 1, and 3 to advance to 2, does that mean total, or what? Like to advance to 5 in a skill would it go 2,3,4,5,6 meaning 20 points total, or would it be just 1 point per upgrade, plus the extra point to start the skill? I'll guess it's the one that it takes 20 points to max out a skill. Name:Lisa Age:28 Class:Civilian Skills: 2 in basic construction, and two in basic firearms Basic History: (Brief or long as you like.) Lisa was a pilot, who was relocated just days before the attack, and previously had worked in her fathers handmade furniture store, explaining her basic knowledge of construction. (Starting in suburbs, I know i'm going to do something wrong, since this is my first time in ages, but here goes) Lisa walked to the top floor of her house, and peered out of the one unblocked window. Again, there were no zombies in sight. She knew she would have to leave her house soon, she was running out of food, and it wasn't too safe. She figured the zombies wouldn't find her here, since there were possibly hundreds of other houses surrounding her own. All she had left in her house was some canned food, clothes, various pieces of furniture, though most of them had been used to block doors and such, and a pick up truck she had refused to let the military take, unfortunately though, the pickup was old, and low on gas, though she figured it could get her across town before it ran out of gas. Lisa decided she would have to loot some nearby houses for food and supplies. She took a medium sized chopping knife she had once used for preparing large meals, and stepped out of her house, leaving the door unblocked, but closed and locked. She knew here neighbors pretty well, and she thought she knew where she should go, to Mr. Heston's house, a few streets over, he had always been overly paranoid about robbers, and such, and he might have some useful things. Lisa jogged there and within a few minutes she was opening the door to his house. It was empty of both living and dead, as she had hoped. The first thing she did was go to his toolshed in the back yard, take out a cart to store things in, and look for supplies. In the shed she found, and took : 1 box of nails 6 2x4 planks 2 medium sized flanel bags 1 Shovel 1 normal hammer 4 cartons of gas for his chainsaw (chainsaw itself was broken, blade was heavily damaged, so she left it) 1 Sledgehammer She loaded all those onto the cart and went back inside. She searched the house thoroughly for half and hour and found and took the following things: 15 canned foods (various) 2 jugs of water an old, but working shotgun 14 shells A revolver A holster & belt for revolver 6 shells (in the gun) A baseball bat. Two 30 ft. coils of rope The shotgun and shells were the most important find, she had found them on top of a shelf in his basement, with the shells in a box, and another box with the revolver under his bed. She loaded all of these things onto the cart, they all fit, but barely and she slowly made her way back to her house, though it took much longer this time, as things kept falling out of the cart. She got home without seeing any zombies, re-barricaded the door, and loaded most of the supplies into the back of her pickup truck, with the exception of the revolver, which she kept on the belt, which she was now wearing, and the shotgun, which she left in the front seat of her pickup truck. For the rest of the say she set up simple traps around her house, using the ropes, which she had covered with nails so they would atleast do a bit of damage to anything walking through them. She made simple trip wires, so she could at least hear if anything was coming into the house. This took several hours to complete all of them, and she figured she would go to sleep then, so she would be well rested the next day. OOC: Next day I might try to get to the center of town or the commerical area. I hope I didn't get anything too unbalancing, and I figure the truck won't have enough gas to get to a gas station, only to the center or commercial district. Or if car is too unbalancing it can break down at some point. Ok thats it.

Ok, i've tried just about everything. Dug everywhere in ruins, explored every area of wildy, brought skull and bones from ruins to digsite people and museum people, searched everything searchable in the ruins, talked to reldo, and a lot more.

I dug in every building, every examinable rock and on all bones, and also used the spade on all rocks. I still have some ideas

I don't think the devourer is anything related. The devourer i believe is taken from rl egyptian mythology, where essentially, you would be brought to a room with anubis, osiris and a giant crocodile called the devourer. Anubis would remove your heart, place it on a scale with a feather on the other side, and if your heart was pure, and thus less than a feather you would go to the afterlife, but if it was heavier, the crocodile would devour it. Anyway, just searched the entire wilderness, and am looking for more clues. None yet, though i have some ideas.

China would not go to war with the united states, because they rely on us to buy their products, and we rely on them for their products as well. They would damage our economy, and them going to war would destroy theirs.

Sorry for double post, but I felt like quoting. How so. Wouldn't it hurt them more in the long run if they lead a life they did not feel comfortable with, and married a women, and there was no love, which would eventually lead to a divorce, skrewing up their life, and hers, and their kids, and leaving them worse off then before. If they have a higher rate of suicide, it is almost definitely from public harassment, which means it is not their fault, as the harassment is usually unfounded. This stood out. I doubt that any of that has proof backing it, what proof is their that because they were abused as a kid or something made them gay? And what makes someone who is 'flamboyantly gay" perverse? The flamboyant ones, if i get what you mean, tend to have closer brains to females, while the more masculine partner has a brain more like a man. Anyway, the only argument against it is really religion, and more directly the bible. I don't believe anyone knows who wrote the bible, how do we know they weren't making fun of the religion and making a satire, and that's all the bible was, and obviously god didn't write it, so who did? They could of put anything in it, from their point of view that fit their view of the religion, and in the end, christians aren't following a god, merely who wrote the bible.

Ive said it before, and will say it again. It is neither wrong nor right, it just is. Saying it is right is saying being heterosexual is wrong, and it is not wrong, and thus, it just is.

Zombies don't exactly hunger, if we're talking about the more likely disease zombiism thing. They only bite to infect more people, not to eat.

I was just wondering what people thought of these in general. Myspaces are a lot less 'safe' than a facebook, because with facebook there are a lot of options letting you choose who can view your page. I personally think they can be a great place to arrange stuff with friends, and even just store pictures of yourself. Myspaces can be dangerous, since I don't think you can make it so only certain people can view your page (or you couldn't when i last checked), but with facebook you can set it so only friends can see your page. Anyway, do you think websites like these are a good thing or a bad thing? Which one is your favorite? Just curious to see what people think. EDIT: 10000th topic!

China has superior numbers, and if I remember correctly, more planes then us, but most of those planes are old MIGs. Our air force is the strongest, much newer. Our navy is as well. In terms of ground forces, we're strong, but china has numbers. Of course a conventional war would be out of the question. For china to move it's whole army here it would be near impossible, as we have both a superior navy and air force. It would also be very difficult for america to bring it's army there. Though, america has enough nukes to cover the entire world in direct radiation (not just fallout), so in terms of pure power, america is on top. Some facts are probably off, but this is just from memory

Ok here's the plan: Start a company that creates eco friendly stuff, cars etc. Eventually get enough money to buy a medium sized island somewhere. Firstly, make the island completely eco friendly, 0 emissions if possible, or if not, balance them all out. Then, continue with the company till even richer, and build housing all over the island. Offer (almost) free housing on the island, and once enough people come, I will make it it's own country. Since it will be the most enviourmentally friendly country in the world, it will attract more people. Slowly money from taxes will build up, and I buy more islands, and add them to my country. More people will be attracted, to it slowly, and then buy more land from countries in the area, preferably 3rd world countries, so that they would need the money more than some of the land. Boom I own a country. Or not... Anyway, a lot of people are saying they would rather be middle class or lower than rich, but in my opinion being wealthier would be better, but depending on how much you have to work/ what your job is. Some technology is just too awesome to pass up at that point. The real issue is getting wealthy though. Being an engineer might be good.

I Personally am not worried about revenants. They can't even open doors. Still, you want to dress for the part with revs. They are easy with the right gear, if not to kill, then to escape from. Just position it behind an obstacle and run straight. They are far easier, as I said.

Ouch! why would you do that to yourself! Actually I know someone who did really well in their mocks and rubbish in the actual exam, so they dislocated their shoulder and passed out from the pain, therefore earning them the A they got first time round. :P It's not exactly dislocating as much as what you go to the hospital for. One of my friends can do it with their shoulders, and it's really creepy, it's possible for them to stick their finger inside of their shoulder when they do that.
