I don't think Jagex will do another language, considering the German servers have been mainly unsuccessful.

I think, if they were to, it would be either French or Sweedish.

How do you mean unsuccessful, they just started, i bet within a few months the worlds will be about as crowded as the average world in peek time.

And i heard that French, Spanish and Dutch will be on the list next.

I doubt there will be a Chinese version, or another version in a different alphabet, because i think it would be too much work, but Hey! anything's possible.

I don't agree with that. The servers have been official for just a few days. You can't expect a game to be succesful a few days after it's release.

So wait a few months, and then you can really say whether it was good or not.

ltjemightyro9.png

Retired.

But Dutch people are usualy very good at English anyway so it probably wouldn't be that high on their list.

Yeps, that's true. So I don't think Dutch will be next, because most of us can play it normally. Only the really young people, but that involves mostly 13- ;)

So my vote would be for some big language from the people who speak it have quite some trouble with English.

Like French or something?

Your wrong, runescape is a childgame, my litle brother plays it, and i always have to translate it for him , really annoying.

35% of the rs players are dutch.

Craven_Image (a tip.it admin) attended a lecture that Cambridge had set up with a Jagex Mod. They told them about the future language changes and I think Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian are some of the languages that will be released eventually. I'll try find the link.

Sometime in easter they will release a new German version of RuneScape

By the end of this year they will have released versions of RS in French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanense.

Here is the post

sig5235ro7.jpg

I reckon they'll make one completed translated to american . . . . :anxious:

Completely agree there, the next one is most likely gonna be dutch i think, but i'd love a spanish one.

capesn.png

My capes in the order they were achieved

Notice how they said that a year ago? We only got one version, not all of those...I'd say French or Dutch, a lot of thosep layers...

9000+ dragon drops! Including draconic visage, d chains, d spears, d2h, d claws, d meds, d legs, d skirts... d bones, d hides :)?

w85p2012-1.png

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

If the german version is a success and if it really is profitable for Jagex to have multiple languages, then my guess is French next. Anyway I'm a bit sceptical about the possible success of the new language versions...
