I've heard rumors of a nerf in his drops. Now I can't back this up completely. My last 30 kills have been a zerker ring. Not outstanding luck, but not anything bad. I've had friends going multiple trips without luck though. I've heard 3 of my friends tell me that there was a nerf before I even noticed it myself.

 

 

 

Also, the side guys are hitting me hard. I know I have 76 defense, and I can't expect to block all their hits, but they've picked up the last two trips. Again, I've had friends agree with me, so this isn't just my luck. And these friends have 90+ defense.

 

 

 

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I only lasted 480 casts solo'ing just then. I could do 1k a few weeks ago.

Well me and my friend Evilknight 2 Duo'd rex for a while. We had about 3 trips there completely dry of drops. Then on the 4th trip we got a zerker ring.

 

 

 

Afterwards i decided to take a solo-run, basically i got pwned. Getting hit a lot and only lasted around 400 casts with 80 defence. But i did get a warrior ring so that wasn't too bad.

 

 

 

The next day me and Evil were lower on cash than when we started so we wanted to go there and for once get some luck.. In one trip we got an axe, zerker and warrior!

 

 

 

I'm not sure if the drops have been nerfed.. Maybe your all having rotten luck?

I've never been able to get up the guts to even come close to a rex but I wouldn't imagine that Jagex would make it harder, unless it has a more valuable drop tied to it.

true on all counts, i lasted 600 casts and i usually do 1.4k, and my TEAM is dropless in last 3 trips

I wouldn't doubt it that JaGex would nerf it when they caught wind of people being able to solo one of the kings.

Jagex always does that with monster drops. They did it with Chains from the KQ, whips from abyssal demons (and other slayer monster drops). It's probably in order to get some of the items into the economy quicker, then they lower the drop rate some. This is nothing new.

I agree. My team has experienced many good drops at Rex, but this past week has given us only 3 warrior rings and a berserker. Before this, we got an axe every trip...

The last 5 trips I went on I got a warrior ring out of them, And I didnt last as long...

My last 7 trips going with Broncoz51 and Lordfan21 were bad. Lets just say that I would be poor right now without team shares :wall:

well the drops are still the same but i noticed that the vll 70s hitting me more often

Thanks Jagex nerf the fun stuff before I get to it. Just like how you made Karil a steroid user before I got to him.

Can't say for sure, i went with one of my friends for my first dk trip and it was fruitless. When i was ranging prime alone, i was getting hit so easily until i almost have no choice but to on steel skin to save some brews

i completely agree with this i had over a 187 kill streak and only a d axe berzerker ring and a warriors ring....and the clues were bad. :?

 

 

 

 

 

my mates gets atleast 2 rare drops average when they go as hybrid.

im glad they are messing with everything... sick of people making milions so easily and complaining when they dont get a drop worth 3+ mil every hour.... its rediculous that people expect to make 20+ mil off drops in like 4 trips.

dkings hard enough, dealing with lurers, risking our spears, theres many possibilites that we can lose millions but were taking the risk just to get the reward, and you expect the reward to become smaller?

I don't believe Jagex has nerfed the drop rate of anything. It's just your imagination.

 

 

 

The chance of a rare drop off any of the kings is probably 1/64. It's not even that high (Well, it is compared to other stuff :P) so going a trip or two without a drop isn't even surprising just a bit of bad luck.
