May 1, 200719 yr I'm really looking forward to this month but for the last few months I've been disappointed. The worst one was the jewlery update recently which I had been really looking forward to, I just hope that this one lives up to my expectations. :pray: My friend you would not tell with such high zest / to children ardent for some desperate glory / the old lie: Dulce et decorum est / pro patria mori.These 'noobs' are not people as such, they are soulless creations of corporate greed.
May 1, 200719 yr sounds like a good month, kalphites and Varrock getting a face lift :thumbsup: and the achievement list sounds like fun, i just hope you dont have to do all the tasks again, and who knows, getting a fire cape might be one of the hard ones :lol: plus lots of future updates avalible adding in new areas with new tasks :XD: edit: Maybe to get the extra xp boosts at the agility dungeon you need to trade in 1k tickets at a time, that would mean less people will benifit unless they are willing to work for it, i would really like that to be a task 8-)

Sure, new achievement lists and Lunar Spells will be good, just don't expect TB/Entangle/Ice Barrage/DDS Spec in one magic spell. Just expect at most a few more Agility exp per 100 tickets, spell that raises cooking by 1 and isn't stackable with Operation with Cooking Cape or pots.
May 1, 200719 yr Is it just me, or have JaGeX taken a page from the book of Microsoft? Anyway, I like the sound of this system, though it does sound like it could be relatively easy to unlock some of them. New lunar spells could be good, maybe an actual combat spell using astral runes? Then of course, graphic updates. It should be interesting to see what they do with Varrock.

Lunar spells are non-violent. Call them "white magic" to the "black magic" of Ancient. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Just like they did to PoH before. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

Though, knowing Jagex, they'll classify a "hard" achievement in terms of something a lvl-80 would have a hard time accomplishing. Lunar spells end at lvl 95 I think - that'd be nice if they filled the spellbook up from lvl 96 to 99 (or maybe even up to lvl 103, meaning you'd have to pot from 99 magic to use the spells :)). As stated previously, they won't be offensive spells - though I wonder if they'll be combat-related spells or skill-related. Maybe new teleports. I don't care about the graphic update as long as they don't ruin Varrock by turning it into a giant bathroom like they did with Falador.

Very good point there, but I'm thinking, what if they give Quest points? Thankfully, I have my Mith Grappling hook in case there is anly achievements involving this.
May 1, 200719 yr The best looking updates for me are the additions to Lunars and the Achievement Diary. Hopefully we'll see some useful, high-level spells. I'd like to see it, but the entire idea of high-level Lunar spells is oxymoronic. Lunars are supposed to be a skiller's spell-set; why would the spells require a high magic level?
