It's just a bunch of bologna. Exactly, its obvious that players are going to expect things like summoning and blood crafting, and they have been. Jagex isnt hinting at them, both the players and Jagex already know they are coming out. They're just teasing players and laughing when they make posts like this. I can only see it as a novelty skill, like hunter and construction, something for fun that serves little purpose. I can't see it being a realistic addition to combat, because they would have to either redo the entire combat system(which would be an extremeley unpopular decision if they did) , or make summoning really weak (woot! Im lvl 99 now, i can summon imps with helmets!). Maybe you could just summon on the spot demons to train on, thats feasible, but not worth while. I dont't know, maybe im just uncreative :-k . weasel Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Maybe all of this will come as our summer suprise! i think you mean winter 8-), but really i think the build up for summoning has been anticipated for quite a long time now and apparently, from what i've heard that Jagex would not announce skills before they are released, so admittedly the timing does seem right However, it seems to me that people have just really complained about the last few skills released by Jagex and even though i loved farming and construction (not a huge fan of hunting, but still it's alright), endless rants flooded the forums, even before it was released. Discuss Summoning has been part of the game since RSC, its a NPC feature! There has been NPC's talking about summoning or even summoning monsters since RSC.. And evil dave? He's summoning hellrats at the momment, doesnt mean he will play a big part in the skil if it is ever released. Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
