Chocobodude0
I was thinking about certain good movies, and how some of them lack sequels. So, what movie (you can count series too! :) ) do you think deserves another sequel? Honestly, I loved the Friday series. I've heard rumors about a final installment called "Last Friday". At thise point, it's just a rumor, but I really hope it's true. They were hilarious.
Satenza
Sequels usually destroy movies. For example, the Friday The 13th movies. Even though the orginal was nothing special to begin with. There becomes a point where it's obvious that they are riding on the success of their prequel. Such as Terminator 3. That really was a joke of a movie. Unfortunatley $$$$$$ = More than retaining dignity. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Chocobodude0
napoleon dynamite. 'nuff said. I HATED Napoleon Dynamite. I thought it was just corny, and boring. But hey, I wouldn't be surprised if a sequel was made. If you were thinking I was referring to the Friday the 13th movies, I wasn't. I was talking about the series starring Ice Cube. Guest
Oddly enough thinking from the top of my head, I'd say Dodgeball. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to that.
warri0r45
If you can't tell a good story in 1.5 - 3 hours then find another job. I just don't really see the point to sequals unless it was written to be a trilogy or two.

____
Godzilla. I remember seeing an un-hatched egg at the end.Yea, that shot of the intact egg was asking for a sequal, but it never arrived *shrug* As for movies which deserve sequals... I'm drawing blank. Backdraft could go with one... although Ladder 49 kinda works for me. Just replace John Travolta with William Baldwin, and bingo, most of the plot works alright. Harrington
I'm the first to admit that many sequels suck, but and can think of many instances where the sequel(s) were superior to the originals. Good examples would be Terminator 2, Attack of the Clones, Empire Strikes Back, Two Towers, Aliens, Wrath of Khan... I could go on forever lol. I think many movies that are deserving of a sequel have already been done and I'm struggling to think of anything I'd like to see... Se7en deserves a sequel, I guess they could call it Ei8ht lol Master & Commander Stargate Red Planet Having said this, there's many great one off movies that should just be left alone and not soured by an inferior sequel. assassin_696
It's hard, I can think of loads of films which didn't deserve sequels but got them, but not so many the other way round. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

Necromagus
I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Dr. Strangelove, where they try to survive according to the plan cooked up in the War Room while they waited for the bomb to go off. ThurinEthir
300. It'd be called 400...Watch as 400 Spartans battle millions of Persians at the Battle of Thermopylae...Same plot, same story, same event. Just with 100 more men. But seriously...Unless the ending of the movie needs some tying up, the sequel will nearly be the exact same thing. I can't think of any movies that have endings like that off the top of my head...So yeah... Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. rhan_wolf
Well when Hot fuss first came out i thought it was a sequel to Shaun of the Dead. When it wasn't i was like Nooooooo. so we need a sequel to Shaun of the Dead. Other than that I'm not so sure about sequals, but there are lots of movies i would like to see again with slightly different story lines. I know that doesn't really make since, but heres an example. I liked Fight Club but i dont think a sequel would be good at all. However i would like to have the same feeling of the movie reapeted. ------------------------sword metal.com
