I haven't played for a year, last time was in june 2009. I have missed playing runescape for just a couple of times now. Never planning to come back though.

 

I see some of my (former) f2p friends have progressed amazingly. S diamant y nearing the 1 bil exp milestone, el popo1 with 200m ranged xp and water is nat with a very nice smithing rank and exp. Just to call a few.

I'd just like to make a remark on the "P2P trial" that's supposedly coming out this week. It's been rumoured around Jagex is giving all pure F2P accounts a 7-day P2P trial (with a catch - you need to provide you credential information and if you don't cancel in time they will charge you for it). While that is difficult to imagine, many player moderators have confirmed it. Therefore, if indeed this does happen, all accounts who indeed accept this offer will be removed from this list for obvious reason.

I can confirm this, too. All accounts who never have been member will get the chance of a 7-day trial. You don't have to get it but if you want you have to buy member with one of the normal ways and cancel it during the next 7 days.

Maybe this trial will be an opportunity for players to show they got the offer and prove they are pure F2P?

After one screenshot of the offer, everyone can fake it :( .

 

I also heard about the 7 day trial, it sounds stupid, as if I'm F2P because I can't afford a membership... <_<

'Noob Boy38' is about 30 levels away from getting on the Top 250 list. (He's 1366 total, all his member skills are 1).

But about half an hour ago I saw him in World 11 wearing a black cavalier and a magic skillcape. He stated that he has '99 Crafting with d'hides' banked, and that he was a 'cheated pure f2p'.

Please, make sure he doesn't get on the Top 250 F2P list. :/

'375375' got p2p, maybe the trial? if thats the case then people who do choose to take the trial will have an ad log just as normal members do.

Well, maybe I didn't check the RSOF, but say you got the 7 day triall and decide to cancel it at the last minute, do they reset all the xp back to original, or just keep it there? If they reset everything back to your stat before you have the trial, then I guess it wouldn't make a difference. But if you do, it would be consider as member at one point.

Just like regular members, you get an AL when you use the 7 days trial.

Your member exp will stay, but I'm assuming no one will get any, unless on accident.
