Well, today i got a Slayer task of 114 hellhounds from Chaeldar.

 

With Full dharoks, 99 WC Cape, Dragon gloves, Rune boots, Fury amulet, Ring of Wealth, Dragon Battle Axe, Abyssal Whip, Lunar Staff and Lobsters i went to do it. All was going well until at half hp in a fight...

 

 

 

I LOST CONNECTION :ohnoes:

 

 

 

For 5 minutes with offline internet i was anxious to get back on and start planning to make some of the things back...

 

 

 

I logged on... and...

 

I was still there with 10 Hp. :shock:

 

After another 5 Mins of OMFG!!!! I escaped vowing not to Get tasks from Chaeldar again (Since my last time was almost 200 Trolls at lv.75...)

 

 

 

Anyway, Do you have any stories of Deaths that could be related to the one i ALMOST had or any Near death experiences like mine?

well i ALMOST died because of a lure yesterday...

 

 

 

i was on world 2 when a lvl 47 say "drop party 30m+!!" i follow like loads of other people i was wearing black mystic with black mask and mystic staff and i had an easter and 1,7m in my inventory we get to the ditch(of course) and he jumps over, i follow but dont go into wilderness, after about 20min with people saying lure the lures come out of wilderness and wait arond the ditch...

 

 

 

then the very nasty happens i lagg and i click to move but i click into WILDERNESS! i get ice barraged and then whip'ed when i get out i am on 9hp and i was/am very lucky i wasnt poisoned because if i had been poisoned i would have died for sure.

Ive lagged out many times, Edgeville master wasnt very nice and made me lose over 17 mill once when I lagged out at Black Demons, but a nice guy there gave back about 16 mill worth back. Im not sure if this topic will stay open sine it has been used before.

I've never really had a death experince, I've ben really lucky. :x

nearly pked and poisened while rcing got into abyiss and lagged out - logg back in 3 hps... tele to house died

 

 

 

died at black demons 2x loseing about 1.2mill worth of stuff... they always move and i forget to check window

 

 

 

Died at black dragons a few times... was hallying so not much loss

 

 

 

Died at barrows before... that was awful #-o

 

 

 

went down to 6 hps at fire giants when i didn't realize that randoms made the giants aggressive again... had my robin set and 22k arrows in my invent... ring of life teleported me out at the last second...

Died At Trolls When I Lagges Out Because I Geuss I Ran Over To Multi Range Area, Sucked Even More That When I Got Back I Found My Stuff, Clicked On It And Boom It Dissapeared.....BLEAPING Lag! :wall:

I take barrows armor and anouther half of an inventory of weapons/armor to barrows. I only pray on Dharok and Karil, but last night I still had some prayer left after karil so I went to ahrim. get about 20 damage on ahrim, prayer runs out. *Screen Freezes* :ohnoes:

 

 

 

Well I regained connection just in time to see myself kill ahrim at 25 hp left.

 

 

 

LAter on I realized runescape was so laggy because there was a virus scan happening in the backround of my computer. :wall:

Got c-lost while slaying sugahs at lunar island and had only about 40hp left... Would've lost Full guthans, whip, fury ammy, berserker ring, fire cape and other stuff if i had died because i had just recently crafted some law runes and were still skulled. Luckily when i logged back i had 90+ hp left 8-) . I love my guthans.

obviously when a lvl 47 is saying that is is usually a lure..

mine was probably when i was at barrows...fighting torag (luckly) and i usallyy do a god spell and i was then.. then i started lagging and lagged out then when i got back on i had 9 hp

One time when Abyss RCing I was left at 6hp and super poisoned from an attack. I made it out thanks to my rol, however I died before I could get to a bank.

 

 

 

Another time I lost my connection when in combat against a Gargoyle. Luckily I was healing with Guthans at the time so I wasn't in much danger of dieing and logged back in at half health.

well there have been plenty...so heres just one of the recent ones.

 

 

 

i was slaying gargoyles and was reading axe man jacks guide( lol who hasnt :P), and downloading a movie when suddenly i lost the internet and i was really scared because of the warning that he gave "people have lost d chain there because of lag"...when i logged in again, for some reason i hadn't died but i was relieved none the less

I had a near death experience once They had to operate on me, and something went wrong. They said I was gone for over a minute. All I remember is this white light at the end of a tunnel. And there was music; beautiful music. And no pain. Anyway, I just started walking down this tunnel until it ended. There was this huge, and I mean HUGE waiting room, with old magazines, and whiney children. On the wall was a big sign, asking me to take a number. Just as I took my number, it was 6,369,288,027, I found myself awake and back in my body.

I once died with my r party on me :) Luky it was the only thing i had. Uhhh thouse lurers :((

I've died plenty of times but never lost more than 300k. (this is vs monsters, lost a whip and d helm once pk'ing)

 

 

 

My worse time is when I went afk fighting dharok. I come back to check and I had put strength pray on instead of melee. I came back seeing a 47 hit me and my player tele'ing away(ring of life ftw!)

What i've tried to learned, or still have not learned...don't turn on protect items after you die, do it b4 you do...i keep forgetting it, i've lost like 2 dds and other stuff b/c of this :oops:

I thought you had to finish them off with a rock hammer?

I was fighting lessers and lost full rune. Happened a few times. (I am F2P)

Yeah so today I was fishing sharks. Turn my attention onto my sketch pad for too long and look back. Dang I'm in Lumbridge. After slitting my wrists some, I decided that a boater was not too much of a loss.

Oo, i have a new one since the last thread like this. I was at metal drags and people were in my house painting some rooms. One of the rooms they were doing was my dads office area. So while im in my room playing normally i get a big suprise. My anti-fire pot runs out and i get a connection lost words on my screne(sp). Log in with like 60 hp left like 30mins later. #-o

I almost got fooled and killed by a house lure a month or two ago (don't remember the exact date, I have a poor name and date memory). Its key components were: a private house party, 2 party hat wearing players of opposite gender, a house with a boxing ring, a few competitions, the last of which included smelting a piece of quicklime without wearing anything (go on, try it out for yourself).

 

Dunno how I got out of there alive, but some kind of common sense started working just before I started using the lime on the furnace, with millions worth of stuff in inventory and below 10 hitpoints. That was a near-death experience. :roll:

 

 

 

Haven't actually died lately. Gotta try harder I guess. :lol:

Here's the worst time I died:

 

 

 

I went to the iron dragons... Okay... I get there, turn on protect melee... And get hit for a 16... I am like WTF? Then I get hit again, for a 2. At that point, I realize OMFG I BROUGHT MY RUNE DEFENDER INSTEAD OF MY ANTIFIRE SHIELD. After panic set in, I tried to outrun the fireballs, instead of teleing. My brain apprently shut off. After getting hit three more times, I kneeled and lost a berserker ring, Black Mask, Rune Axe, Obby Cape, Lava Battle, and some sharks and pots.

Jeezz dude that sucks

My worst time was at kalphite guardians a few days ago, I was killing as normal when I lost the connection for about 5 minutes. When I logged back on I was standing in falador with only 3 items.

other than that I haven't had any serious deaths
