June 23, 200719 yr does it really matter? seriously if you're bugged by that then everything else in runescape must bug you. when i trade, i usually say "ty" at the same time as the other person. well... i suppose we all have our pet peaves but this is getting ridiculous... :-s did this really deserve a topic? with all these l33t speakers and those kids going around cursing at everyone for no reason... why one time i was buying 800 crumble undead runes from a friend, and this kid comes up for no reason and drops the f-bomb at us. i doubt if you had that happen to you you would actually care about people saying "np"

Like he's doing me a favour. So it's NOT ok. He is doing you a favour by buying what you were selling, or selling what you wanted, it is helping you, so therefore it is a favour. Without him, you wouldn't have that item(s).

June 23, 200719 yr it depends on the occasion. in your example with a compliment it is apropriate to say no problem IMO. but not after a normal trade. There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.

June 23, 200719 yr I say a mix of no problem to your welcome. SO would saying your welcome also be inappropriate? The way I see it the person saying thank you is acting like the trade was a favor so it would be appropriate to acknowledge their politeness with a "np" or "yw"
