Best friends in RS

this is weird, i was just talking to my friend about his best rs freind quitting. :-k

 

 

 

Well, it doesn't really matter if you have a friend you made online. It's actaully, in my experiance, better because they won't follow the "crowd" in a game. A friend made in rs will always say the truth, for why lie about it? Gosh, this reminds me of the days when i was a noob...

 

 

 

Killing goblins south of fally with saltyman and danbond. Smithing and mining in the dwarven mines, exploring the unknown. But its been about three years since then.

 

 

 

I've only had one good friend since then, shifty, but she quit a while ago. The bestest friend i made in rs from a cav i picked up at blue dragons when someone died.

 

 

 

It seems that since then many have quit, n0valyfe, lilyuffie, kale stille, svulle and many others. But it guess thats just life. It's part of life to make friendships and as time progresses they split apart..

Shey<3- probably one of my all time best freinds on runescape, shes always there to help out, even on girlfreind advice <3 shes a very gud dancer btw

 

 

 

 

 

Oreo<3- Another great freind, always there to lend a hand and a huge motivation for my 99 firemaking

 

 

 

Mc<3- Could talk to mc all day, a great freind of mine always there to play cwars and will almost 50% of the time make his own supplies for his 99, hes a poor nub

 

 

 

blu<3- one of my first tif freinds, a great freind, always looking out for me

Kirky<3- undoubtly one of the best dkers on runescape motivated me to join his clan, and once he made 100+ rule, he motivated me every step of the way to get back in clan

 

 

 

Met0lll<3- even though you semi-quit you will always be on my friendslist and will always be one of the most respected runescapers on my fl, even after getting scammed a phat, you didn't quit, and you've almost made as much money as you had

Time<3- he had deleted most of his freindslist for a while, but i recently saw him and he was readding most of his freinds, gl with gwa

 

 

 

Attack<3- has been mad at me for a while now, but still <3 him, gl with high crafting

 

 

 

Toast<3- always been there for me, inspired me to get 99 firemaking too, <3 great pker on pure too, well not p2p

saru<3- always been there for me, could talk to him all day, i would lend him anything, one of the nicest people i know

Ganther: My real-life best friend whom I played a lot with during my golden age.

 

 

 

Iantiger: Now local forum mod, used to be my primary rival in raising our characters quickly.

 

 

 

Ctiger: He helped me kill boredom and actually manage to get 60 mining in two hours powermining copper in Rimmington. XD

 

 

 

Clifford102: My first experienced friend who gave me the secrets to levelling quickly and contacts with several Runescape legends.

 

 

 

Stuart07: The one and only person to convince me to get membership (we became members together) and have been friends since.

 

 

 

Tezpedal2: He turned from my first apprentice after retirement into one of my closest friends in Runescape. Funny what pointing out a new player in the right direction would do in the future.

 

 

 

Rob1ten/12ob1ten: I don't even know how we came to know each other anymore, but he has been my advisor for about two to three years.

Artymus555 - Joel is an awesome person. I've known him for almost 4 years playing RS. I met him before I ever joined a clan, when I played alone. I would trust him with anything in my bank. We used to date, and since that has ended, we have remained close friends and he is one of my best friends ever, on and offline.

 

 

 

Imaprayergod - I married him in RS :P We have met in person, and are currently dating. I met him in Heart Unit when I was staff and I was asking for free alchs for mage exp. He gave me over 12mil in blue dhide bodies, hoping to get the money back. Well, he did get the money back and we started talking in PM and on the phone and one day I just asked him out and he said yes. Obviously, as we are RS and IRL boyfriend/girlfriend, I would trust him with anything I own in either place. He gave me his santa, he bought me 99 prayer, he bought me all elegant outfits for 10mil last Christmas. He's done a lot for me, to show that he loves me, since we are 1000 miles apart, sometimes showing me he cares in game is all we have. He is my best friend and my lover <3

 

 

 

New Shadow 2, Seder 5, Boarder Boy1, Greatnate24, Wabbit Luver, Moonlight S, Cerubus666, Master1969, Chip54321, Timmy11593, Krypt Lagoon, Bg Menace ... those are the ones that currently stand out from my clan. Most of us, have been in this clan for almost a year and a half. We have fought, cried, laughed, and grown as people and in combat levels/skill totals with each other. It is a place we call home, and the people we share everything with. I've been allowed to wear a red phat, been given thousands in free exp (probably up to 50 lvls). I mean with these people if I need something, ANYTHING, they'll share it. I've talked to a lot of them on the phone as well.

 

 

 

Jeff (Imaprayergod, previously mentioned) had a chance to make about a mil and a half profit but he had to buy all these hides his friend was selling then. Took 19.5mil, and he didn't have that. All he did was ask New Shadow, and he was like yea sure here.

 

 

 

The trust and camaraderie that we all share is amazing and sometimes, as sad as it might sound, it makes me tear up to see us all laughing and having a good time. Even though it's a game, and we can't see each other everyday or whatever, we are all people with feelings and wants and needs, and to know that we share something many people might never know, it's such a blessing.

 

 

 

We are trying to plan a RL get-together for those that are over 18 (since parental units might crash the plans for one involving those under >.>), and meet up in some fun city, like Memphis or Vegas. We'd have such a blast. It would be so awesome to be able to actually SEE these people in person, the ones that I would trust with my life, even though I've never met a one of them.

 

 

 

So yea, there is my sappy long post ... moral of the story is ... friendship and trust knows no bounds. Not even miles or oceans. As long as the person has a true heart and isn't greedy or out for themselves, distance means nothing to TRUE friends. Though you DO have to take into account that MOST times, age is an important factor. Some young people don't yet understand the importance of friends you can trust with your life. At the same time, some older people still haven't learned that lesson. Others still yet, have learned this lesson, but don't feel it applies to online friends. They will never learn that until they get that one person that touches their life in a way they could never explain. Therefore, these people will not hesitate to backstab you for your pixels and won't care how that makes you feel, or them look.

Well, some of my friends irl used to play runescape alot, like daferocious1, jawbreaker9, and rozalind. One still does, gladiator253, i trust him more than anyone because i actually know him.

 

 

 

As far as online friends go, my best are Codguy, fnaa, hawk4567, and eloy2

 

 

 

codguy and eloy2 have been on my friends list for the longest (codguy is actually #1, oddly enough my friend list was cleared a few times for reasons i dont know)

 

 

 

I trust people i know irl more than internet friends of course, but codguy and eloy2 are really great people. :

Rebeljohnson. We push eachother to reach our goals and stuff (last joint goal was Quest Cape) and we basically just hang out, he's great to talk to, always been there for me, like when i got hacked, or now, while I'm temporarily banned (stupid hackers...)

Me and my friend were tight as glue, we always did quests together, KQed, Barrowed, all the good things, we were inseperalbe. He quit runescape but still we are inseperable, be it thorugh AIM or ventrilo I tlk to him everyday, he is one of the few people who i would truely call my best friend in real life as well as in game. When i was doing monkey madness he came with me (he had done it previously) and carried my extra supplys, and once i gave him 20m to work on his skills, and he payed me back 25m because it took him awhile to pay me back, i would trust him with my life. Runescape can create friendships and they can last for a long time. So take the time to get to know people, you never know maybe they will be your best friend later on, and maybe save you in a dangerous situation. Don't judge people to quickly and enjoy the game and make friends, its a game have fun

I had many friends on runescape, however the closest one's of course were the one's I knew in real life. Seeing as i'm still in touch with them, quitting runescape wasn't too big of a deal for me.

when i got hacked about 6 months ago he picked me up and in 3 months i had easily twice as much money. We have much in common how we play rs and how we live life and we both love to skateboard and do slayer. We have known each other for 1.5 years and talk like we have known each other forever.

 

 

 

I think friends are taken for granted on rs because i see so many ppl misusing other's trust to gain "pixels" when i honestly wouldnt ruin my reputation or go against my morals.

 

 

 

Because of this a lot of my pure friends in Atrocity love me and respect me as an honest person.

I've known Rivergenesis for roughly a year, met her when i decided to get 70 ranged at the dusty tunnels, and didn't have enough steel arrows.

 

It almost scares me to think that on that day, if i'd chosen the seller on another thread, i never would have met my favourite person in the whole world.

 

 

 

She's supported me without a single falling-out for the past year, and i've admittedly helped her a lot with skill raising.

 

Without her to talk to while working at home, i'd be a completely different (and dare i say, perhaps a little more normal) person than i am now. She's the only reason i still play RS.
