Well I've been on many servers today and whenever the whole world gets lag then jagex is putting a update in and setting it to go live soon. IT usually starts to lag 1 to 3 days before an update, the con update i lagged an entire week before and after, so if its as big as they say it is 'biggest update of the year', I'm sure it'll be tomorrow, or Monday. But yes it has been laggy but considering theres 1908 people in world 76 at this moment it might be that. But not on the weekends Andrew is prly eating his donuts and drinking coffee at his house. Big updates (and a completely new feature like clan chat IS a big update, much bigger from a technological perspective than for example a new quest) are likely to have bugs and things that need to be fixed. It makes perfect sense to introduce it Monday morning when the Jagex office is full of staff and they have time to spot and fix bugs. I imagine that on weekends/holidays Jagex only runs minimal staff to keep the game working as it is. The only updates that happen late in the week or on weekends are bug/exploit fixes, or other "emergency" updates for which timing matters. Live free or die. Its usually 6-8 after an update before a new 1, which was last Tuesday i believe, so the update will be most likely Monday or Tuesday 2. How can u say that its gonna be clan chat next update? 3.
