How do I come off saying the update comes out tomorrow?

 

Well I've been on many servers today and whenever the whole world gets lag then jagex is putting a update in and setting it to go live soon. I have talked to a jagex staff, I asked him about this and he said i was on the right track but refused to say more.

I've been pretty lag free all day, and my guess would be monday (which is only a few days away which would explain why you're on the right track =P).

 

 

 

Only Jagex knows, let's just wait and find out, shall we?

Well, I've been lagging a lot, in any world. IT usually starts to lag 1 to 3 days before an update, the con update i lagged an entire week before and after, so if its as big as they say it is 'biggest update of the year', I'm sure it'll be tomorrow, or Monday.

It'll probably be on Monday I don't think they'd put out an update on the week end.

They've NEVER updated on the weekend. It's always a weekday. Don't hold your breath :P

Anyways, it's not going to be on a weekend. I think it's going to update on Monday or Tuesday.

As much as I would like to say that it will/could be, it is highly unlikely. Although I will admit that I have been very laggy today. Not extreme, but it bugged me. (Thank goodness I'm not the only one lagging. :pray: )

I would have to guess that most of Jagex's employees except some support staff don't work on weekends so the update probably won't come until next week

I'm guessing Tuesday it will come out

I'm feeling extremely laggy gameplay as well. Don't get your hopes up, the update will only be on weekdays, tuesday or monday.

My friend lagged out in the course of 25 minutes, don't know if this is related but I have been experiencing some frozen frame lagg as well

It's the weekend and not everyone is at work. But yes it has been laggy but considering theres 1908 people in world 76 at this moment it might be that.

But I remember when they shut down runescaoe for 3-5 hours to update.

 

 

 

Then when Construction came out i couldn't even move without lags.

Jagex has down a many of updates on the weekend, although I think only one got publicized, the others were little bug fixes, which they announced they fixed on monday or tuesdays official update.

Every significant content-type update I know has been Monday/Tuesday.

 

 

 

Big updates (and a completely new feature like clan chat IS a big update, much bigger from a technological perspective than for example a new quest) are likely to have bugs and things that need to be fixed. It makes perfect sense to introduce it Monday morning when the Jagex office is full of staff and they have time to spot and fix bugs.

 

 

 

I imagine that on weekends/holidays Jagex only runs minimal staff to keep the game working as it is.

 

 

 

The only updates that happen late in the week or on weekends are bug/exploit fixes, or other "emergency" updates for which timing matters.

Well... I haven't experienced too much lag even while im MTA enchanting, watching bleach, running a virus scan and posting here :thumbsup:

Last couple of days I've lagged and whenever I say lag other people do... it might just be a lame excuse that they are using since they are getting killed lol.

wow, I sold some herbs and i come back and theres 2 pages!

I noticed it on world 110, maybe its a huge new addition, whenever it comes it out i can't wait it will be awesome. And hopefully if they can rearrange the friendslist the bank is next :)

I highly doubt it will come out tommorow.

 

 

 

1. Its usually 6-8 after an update before a new 1, which was last Tuesday i believe, so the update will be most likely Monday or Tuesday

Lag has nothing to do with updates.

 

It has to do with rs being overcrowded by people waiting for clan chat :wall:
