i made one because i was bored

no, i made one because I just wanted to experience a new part of rs, be able to pk very good, and be able to be proud of my offensive strength.and I always wanted to at least be somewhat like all those guys on youtube :-$

Most people just make pures because they watch videos on Youtube

the only reason i made a pure was out of shear boredom, so i decided to take my game play another direction instead of skilling all the time.

I do it when i'm bored on my main.

Pures are more a sign of people who like PKing, both in the wilderness and out. They're often used in the Duel Arena.

 

 

 

Although I made my Range Pure out of boredom. :|

Not a sign of boredness, a sign of lack of challenge. I made Loki Strikes because defense was getting easy, my pure fixed that :thumbsup:

I made a pure to actually be able to kill in the wilderness...my main absolutely sucks at pking, it dies more often then it kills.

 

 

 

But I don't really go on my pures that much unless I'm on a public computer (Cause i don't want to get my main keylogged and hacked, and yes i don't really care about my pures) or when i randomly remember about them at home. :)

my pure atk is so far my best pure because ive been able to maintain it and it hasnt gotten deleted

I do it because I like the challenge.

 

 

 

Being 115, there isnt much to do, PKing is overrun with high pures, and at this level, everyone is the same pretty much.

 

 

 

Being low level, there are 3 paths you can choose.

 

 

 

And boredom is a reason too.

I made one because my main at the time (cb 81) was not able to pk effectively. My new main is now cb 82 and has much better stats to play and enjoy the whole game including wildy/barrows/TT hunting as well as skilling. Essentially my first character gained 4.4M experience figuring out the many aspects of the game, while my current one with 19.8M exp (ex 1 def pure, now 45 def) is a well rounded one built to pk as well as play the game the way I want to.

 

 

 

I never made a pure to make cash, I made one to pk effectively and have fun in wildy, rather than die without a chance. I still die very regularly on my current character, but at least I know I have a chance :)

Half the pures get like 90 strength, 94 magic, perfect 60 attack/52 prayer best bonuses then try and Pk me lol, happens alot at 76 >.<

For me, yessir.

When I was waiting for my 1k total level party, I had to wait for a week. During that time, I started a Ranged 2H pure. It was just something else to do because I couldn't level anything on my main account or I would ruin the party.

Rather than asking is making a pure a sign of boredness, ask if playing runescape is. Everything we do in our free time is to avoid boredom.

A month ago I became completely bored with the entire idea of Runescape. Then one night while I was laying down falling asleep, an idea hit me :idea: I could expand the entertainment I received from this game by creating a so called "pure" account and walking around with my head high because naturally, I am the dominate species of 'Scape. Little did I realize that it only meant that I was so easily controlled by teenage boys.

 

 

 

I have watched on YouTube so many people running around the wilderness using an ice spell on people then using a sweet dagger killing them. This was what I was destined to do! I tried this myself to be cool and fit in, but soon realized that when I tried this in person, I got completely owned. After asking why, they laughed and told me to get defense and prayer up so I could use piety or chivalry, then called me a pure noob.

 

 

 

I have therefore deleted all my accounts upon realization that conforming to the ideas of idiots does not mean I am cool, but only makes me all the more easily controlled and dominated by young children. I shall embrace my meager "standard" main account and never stray from the normal again just to fit in.

i made one because pking is the only thing worth playing rs for(to me atleast) and pures are better pkers than mains.

yeah it was bordem that made me start my pure...but even then u get anoyed with the 1 def and everything

I pk on my main every day, but making a pure and getting levels is fun, so I did that. I currently am making it a tank ranger through slayer. All tasks I can I range (81 range), I mage metal drags (71 mage) and melee exp all goes to def (75 def).

It's easier to pk people on a pure thats around 20-30 combat. Plus you get fast levels when you train it. Some people like killing other people and getting fast levels, bored? Maybe :)

sorry but this story sounds like you just made it up. i doubt you would take the time to do finnish dt, get 60 att and high mage for an ice spell just to ditch your pure because someone called you a pure noob :roll: even if it was true it would show alot about your personality and how easy it is to affect it.
