August 26, 200718 yr I'd TOTALLY buy runescape toys. Childish, I know...But playing with action figures are fun, provided nobody knows about it. Ever. Personally, I'd totally get a mith dragon, or the KBD. Or an Ice giant, it would look nice. OH! Maybe a white knight castle pack with white knights and black knights...Or Dagannoth Supreme (the red-striped one, whatever his name is). Oh, and Dharok and Ahrim...I do feel like a little kid... And i would totally get a life-sized Abyssal Whip. I'd run around my block smacking people and shouting "1 h1ts j00 wi7 m@h wh1P!!111!"" Ah....heaven. i rofl'ed irl at that! ot: what about lego runescape? dk, kq, jad sets, also, what about falador and varrock building sets, that would take an eternity to build, even for a skilled lego'er like myself thn when you arent allowed to play rs aymore for some reason : you can play lego runescape, there could be some way you can join them together, and make a full lego glienor(or whatever its calkled
August 26, 200718 yr I'd make a santa hat and easter eggs, it's so original, why hasn't anyone thought of it? No, I'd really like a Jad soft toy. Or a coffee mug. 6,521th to 99 woodcutting | Fletching 98/99 | Idarodo | Combat 90 | Total 1565+ | 38m+ total exp Retired.
August 26, 200718 yr Colored paper party hats, so that the average player can actually own someday. Fear is your only God
August 26, 200718 yr A party hat! Oh no wait... Probably a king black dragon or kalphite queen toy, I don't know many other games with those kinds of things so I think most players would associate that with Runescape. My Blog To 87 Construction
August 26, 200718 yr I would start printing T-shirts that have "People are getting items from RS and all I got was this lousy shirt" I'll make billions!!!!! Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
August 26, 200718 yr No but I would wear a Tip.It shirt I need more coffee mugs btw uga. You need more coffee mugs? At my house we have so many coffee mugs we could probably give every person in town a cup of coffee. And Jagex should do this, I personally wouldn't order anything but it would always be a way to make perhaps two fold of what they make?
August 26, 200718 yr If I was briefed to make Merchandise, I would release a Player-Kit w/ popular items as Accessories sold seperately, sets of various Quest and Boss areas (including dungeons), some plushies of various things ingame and of course, the collectors dream: Life-sized replicas of items (only out of JAGeX's selection though). I would also produce Gnomeballs, heck who wouldn't have a use for them?? [hide=Concerns if there was pre-existing Merchandise]I would buy the plushies of the various bosses, not to mention Action Figures of them. If they had a Player-Kit (where you can buy certain accessories) that includes the ingame Generic kit we have, I will most likely buy it. Life-sized replicas of the massive amounts of items would never cease to surprise me, no need for Cosplays! Just imagine if you were limited to buy things that your character has currently.... Quest items would be my favourite purchases (I have over 1 bank page full of these). Sets of certain areas would be wide-spread sellers, no need to keep loading the maps. [/hide]
August 26, 200718 yr Life Size TzTok-Jad with real attacks (Fireballs size of houses) i would so buy that i would prob make figurines i would personaly keep a KBD Or Red Drag It'd probably cost several year's salary. I would buy a coffee mug. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
August 26, 200718 yr I like the action figure idea. I'm the type that likes to pick up good looking action figures (usually well detailed, e.g. McFarlane Toys), and some of the enemies could make very nice figures, provided they're based on the concept art, rather than the low-poly renditions we have in game. As mentioned, Barrows brothers and boss monsters would be good, though I'd also like to see things like greater demons as well. Or perhaps, similar to busts of characters you see at some comic shops, scaled down, detailed pieces of armour on display stands. Shame it won't happen, though :)
August 26, 200718 yr even though i think it's a bad idea i think they should make red crystal barrow brother... those would be cool.
August 26, 200718 yr Author Achievement pack: Includes the achievement capes and hoods. Life Size Capes? That'd be so cool. Walking around town with a firemaking cape... Kinda says "Don't make me mad or I'll catch you on fire!" I'd definitly get one.
August 26, 200718 yr A plastic one of these that vibrates. For that special someone, too? I'd go with the dragon plushies. so there's this thread in p2p general called "the most annoying things ppl do on runescape" i am tempted to post "ya wen im cybering with a girl and they log off for no reason"
August 26, 200718 yr Jagex would totally steal the ideas of other companies... Robosapien::Autoer-Bot(With real woodcutting action!) Toy plane::Gnome Glider(Practice "creative" landings!) Scene it::RS edition(Watch your favorite cut scenes!) Toy Swords:: Rune and dragon weps (More fun than a PK fight!) Football:: GnomeBall(GOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!) The list goes on... ^Clicky for Q Cape Blog^MY SIGGIE AND BANNER SHOP
August 26, 200718 yr Mmm...apple pie... Okay, I'm kidding, what I would really like is little fruit flavored cabbages*. Also, get the complete OoC uniform, an action figure of Whitebane's evil twin, and a plushie of myself. *Cabbages are not to be eaten Products sold separately
August 27, 200718 yr I'd make miniature metal versions of different big characters: Big Boss Pack: King Black Dragon, Kalphite Queen, Tz-Tok-Jad, Chaos Elemental Dragon Pack: Bronze, Iron, Steel, and Mithril Dragons Barrows pack: All the barrows, with their distinctive pink haze. Holiday pack: Part of the player armor pack. Goes on the head, includes party hat set, santa, masks, pumpkin, easter egg, and crackers to litter the floor, as well as the untradeables. Make metal base characters, and release magnetic base armor, so you can clip two halves of the armor, and a little hole in the hands for shield and sword. Big armor pack, with the armor, and the big weapon pack with the weapons. Coin pack: The 1, 100, 1k, 100k, 1mil, and 1bil money stacks, 5 or 10 of each. Achievement pack: Includes the achievement capes and hoods. Random pack: figurines of the random event guys, as well as the costumes to use on the player figurines mentioned earlier. Also includes Genie lamp and mysterious box, strange fruit, and sandwich lady food. Potion pack: Energy drinks! Blueberry attack pots, lemon strength pots, etc. Fish pack: Gummy fish! Sharks, swordies, lobsters, shrimp, etc. I'm going to stop...I'm daydreaming. That'd own lol. If the pots were in vial shapes I'd definately buy those. :-w
August 27, 200718 yr Jad slippers!! \ \ \ Or a Zamorak plush buddy! Who doesn't want a Mahjarrat to hug? PS: (Not Guthix, I'd be scared senseless with a floaty skull in my bed). PSPS:(DEFINITELY not Saradomin...Old man....brrr) Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
August 27, 200718 yr Keep off the sexual innuendos please, Family Friendly forums... Why don't we get back on track with the main topic, not buying Merchandise, but making it. I probably could make some Gnomeballs, its like weaving.
