August 27, 200718 yr ^^ That's OK GO - Here It Goes Again, awesome vid, i think they did a few more which were just as good too :) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pv5zWaTEVkI Mine would probably be Alkaline Trio - Mercy Me, apparently they got Tim Burton to work on it but researching I don't know how true that is, either way it's an awesome video :) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZM0rkQ3tKdg
August 27, 200718 yr For those people who got a thing for videoclips there is a special series that I'd like to recommend. It's called the Directors Series and the DVD's are titled "The work of director " So far there have been seven of these releases and among them there's DVD's of Chris Cunningham (done a lot of the Appehx Twin videoclips) and Michel Gondry (A lot of Bjork, Chemical Brothers and White Stripes). There really is some brilliant material on it. I really like this clip by Michel Gondry done for the Chemical Brothers Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar. You need to have sound on though, otherwise it's hard to hear why this videoclip is so amazing. Another favorite of mine is Aphex Twin - Windowlicker done by Chris Cunningham. It's a tad freaky, but still great work. He has done Come to Daddy as well, which is a great clip. You might know Chris Cunningham from his Rubber Johnny experiment as well. Anothr one I think is very good is done by Blixa Bargeld for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Stagger lee and the Weeping Song, and there is Into My Arms, Hendry Lee (together with P.J. Harvey and shot in one take) and (Are you) the one that I've been waiting for...Sure, I know that I'm getting caried away with Cave, but they're really special...So I'll end with Karma Police Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
August 27, 200718 yr ^^ That's OK GO - Here It Goes Again, awesome vid, i think they did a few more which were just as good too :) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pv5zWaTEVkI I'll try and add some more later, but I just want to add this one to the OK Go list. My school house band did this with the dance routine in the house music competition thing and won it outright, it looked fantastic. :) "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
August 27, 200718 yr I like Mc Bomfunk's . :) Plus Prodigy's Smack My B**** Up clip, but that stuff has been banned from MTV.
August 27, 200718 yr Michael Jackson's videos always blew me away. I remember when Black or White came out. It was the most expensive music video of all time (at that time), and you could tell. Remember the Time, Scream and Thriller were all incredible too.
August 27, 200718 yr Faithless - Bombs - Some nifty splicing to create some very powerful visuals to match very powerful lyrics. Banned from MTV because it's *gasp* political. My Tip.It Times Articles (10 and counting) || The Varrock Library Author Index projectDo you dare to dream? - Part 19 added. || The Hospital (WIP) - New story!Necromagus looks like a viking ... with glasses.
August 27, 200718 yr Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer That is stuff of legend. His entrie career can be summed up inthat one video :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
August 27, 200718 yr Robber Johnny, Aphex Twin (amazingly creepy as hell) Tonight, Tonight. - The Smashing Pumpkins Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buIkPVqys1U Hardest Button to Button - The White Stripes The White Stripes videos are always great.. Thats all I can think of for now. ALSO, any Sigur Ros videos = stunning when it comes to raw emotion.

August 27, 200718 yr Michel Gondry adoration LP, seriously. Get ]this you won't regret it. If you haven't got it already of course. You could also go for this one of course. :) Since you like Cunningham as well. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Ill try find link later That would be OK Go with "Here It Go's Again." Not to keen on the song but i like the music video. It was already answered directly after it was asked. Anyways that's the first video that sprung to mind. I have only seen a few music videos, because I never watch any music video channels. Actually off the top of my head I can only think of a few I've seen, most of the Christina Aguilera's when I thought she was the hottest woman alive. Used to take hours to download them on my 56k, but I loved to watch them. Here's a link to my favourite for old time's sake: Dirrty

August 29, 200718 yr Hunter Revenge Very simple yet very creative. The song is great too!!! Check it out!
September 1, 200718 yr Any music video by Tool. Dark and artistic. For a few reccomendations, give 'Prison Sex' or 'Sober' a plug on youtube. But hey, I'm not picky. Any music video where you don't see the band just mindlessly playing thier instuments in front of a camera gets my vote. It's so cliche just standing in front of a camera like a douchebag playing your song it's become a pet hate of mine.
