September 10, 200718 yr In the KB base, it says as a reward for hard tasks you get access to the bank under Cooks guild. I cba right now to do pointless tasks but id still like to see it, anyone whos done it yet got any pics of it?
September 10, 200718 yr You got the god wars dungeon a couple of weeks ago. So just, SHUT UP :s And about ur godwars dungeon comment. And the fact "i got it" :-s , so apperantly i have to shut up now and wait my turn, probably until some higher authority ( as yourself apperantly) gives me permission to speak my mind again. What are u thinking when you write stuff like that down? Does this stuff just write down all by itself without you at the keyboard or it all gets done on a subconcious level? Im sad to inform you i can have an opinion on every update, and dear lord, it isnt nessesary connected to my ingame preferences as you would like to beleive. And dragon, i dont mind that A.D. takes place in varrock. Id personally liked it more in Fremmy myself but the poll was done and most have decided Varrock.
September 10, 200718 yr I for one applaud updates like these. Yes the reward may be lame but the sense of achievment is huge. Last time I had to raise skills to achieve anything was getting 100 combat for the Karamaja Diary. With this one I will have to raise my smithing. That's good though! I've been wanting to train smithing for ages but it is slow, boring work with no reward. At least now I have a goal to work for, even if the end result is mostly pointless. Trust the Gene Genie!
September 10, 200718 yr If there is really a 20 plus percent chance of smelting two bars instead of one i wouldnt call this pointless at all. Gl with it
September 10, 200718 yr All but "cat training medal" done :|. I'll wait till my kitten evolves to cat...
September 10, 200718 yr do you get the xp of two coals if you get that 2x chance? 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin
September 10, 200718 yr I have a medal already, did it right after the quest 8-) . So many pointless items I have to retrieve now though :x . Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

September 10, 200718 yr This update looks really good, I know my spectre tasks are going to be easier from now on! I probably won't do the diary until the crowds die down though.

September 10, 200718 yr The Varrock Achievement diary sounds fun to me. I will check it out tonite. :) http://www.chaosgone.blogspot.com
September 10, 200718 yr Smelted nearly 40 steel bars so far with no two bars for one ore. Lmao so the only noticable advantage of new A.D. is the ability to wear new and awsome " Varrock armour"? ( well we had a good half year of nice updates so i wont start [bleep] around) Yep. I didn't expect anything remarkable, as there is only so much potential with such a noobish area as Varrock. Way to go, Miniclippers. You chose a winner with this one! Mining 2x coal is the most useful thing in this update, and that is gotten from the EASY diary. This update reeks of fail. You got the god wars dungeon a couple of weeks ago. So just, SHUT UP :s If your arguing this even a top 5 update of the month, your hurting, because it clearly just sucks, the reward is rather uninspiring for the time involved, move your house? wtf does that *Really* have to do with varrock, Change your house trim? Nice money drain. The frem areas would of been nicer. God wars was made for high levels sure, And perhaps you are unable to kill a boss, but what real achievemnts lay within this? they may as well made it a real challange and said "Complete all challange scrolls" After all, hey that is in the champions guild, and made a *Real* reward for it. But alas the sound of the miniclip generation crying out to the stars screaming "its no fair I have to kill 15k imps for a challange scroll!!!" is more painful then hearing high levels moan about a worthless lame diary I would of thought this months quest was the miniclip geared update, but dang.... This entire update just makes me say wtf. Have Thessalia show you what outfits you can wear <- Wow, you can buy clothes, such an achievement Escape from the spider lair in Varrock Sewers with some red spider eggs escape from what exactly? a moss giant, ah such a rush of danger...*yawn* Enter the A Soul's Bane rift - Woo , a useless quest area, is now useful one last time! Use the Teleport to Varrock spell Has anyone ever seriously bragged about teleporting to varrock? Buy twenty mahogany planks from the Sawmill Operator in one transaction Not only does this update suck, but it's a money drain to buy useless mahogany for my already furnished house. Get a cat training medal from Gertrude Perhaps the only real achievment in the medium tasks Browse through Oziach's Armour Shop This isn't classic anymore, Oziachs shop is no achievement either. Smith an adamantite medium helm on the south-east anvil in Varrock, next to Aubury's Rune Shop Waste of an addy bar, I wonder if it will let me count a rune kite as an achivement instead Give your player-owned house a fancy stone or tropical wood finish at the Varrock estate agent's I like my house the way it is, But now im going to pay to change it for a useless reward? then change it back? Quality achievment right there. Make a Varrock teleport tablet on a mahogany lectern isnt this done in your house outside of varrock? I seriously will not tear down my gold leaf lectern for an achievement Obtain a new set of Family Crest gauntlets from Dimintheis Drop an item, pick one up from talking to an npc? Not hard at all, rather sad infact The only way you can defend this update is if your stats are so low, you cant do much else. "Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world."Abraham Lincoln
September 10, 200718 yr i must be the only one who likes the look of the new herbs.they look way better than the childish 2d ones we had. done all easy and most of the medium ones but fairy rings, air baloon and cat training -.- :-X ive seen the second level plate.doesnt even look any diffrant and didnt realise till they told me :P btw theirs people already using this for their spartan costumes
September 10, 200718 yr I find it pathetic that all the high levels moan about the achievement diaries being easy or repeating stuff they have already done. All I can say is DUH The achievements diaries are designed to make players explore an area. They are made from the perspective of a player who has NEVER explored the area. From such a perspective they are great, interesting and introduce you to some new things. Sure they are a bit rubbish if your a high level as monsters aren't aggressive, you've been to these places b4 etc. But its not Jagex fault you already know the area as you take the time to do quests etc. Just wait until a brand new city comes out (eg priffindas) with an achievement diary straight away, it will seemless useless then as you will actually been exploring and discovering new things from doing the diary. September 10, 200718 yr I Think it's pretty sad that most of the "achievements" are just plainly FORCED achievements. random jagex mod 1: "HEY! How about "smith an addy medium helmet on a random anvil in varrok"? " random jagex mod2: "Wow, that's awesome, any other ideas?" random jagex mod1: "Well, How about "Craft an air battllestaff" ! " random jagex mod2: "You're a [bleep]ing genius, This'll be the best diary ever!" And you should get the point...
September 10, 200718 yr The addy helm is because it is not overly high, and varrock is famous for its anvils. Your overlooking it.
September 10, 200718 yr ive seen the second level plate.doesnt even look any diffrant and didnt realise till they told me :P btw theirs people already using this for their spartan costumes  The Varrock level 2 armour is waaaay different to the level 1. :) and its very light for its def.!!! September 10, 200718 yr Why are people moaning about this? Its a good change ok it wont take you all day but its fun and it shows how many people lack certain skills - hence the moaning!!!! I think its a good update Gorak Chronicles Ended, thinking of something new for next week
September 10, 200718 yr It would be better if more than 10% of the acheivements had something to do with varrock. Making addy helms etc. can be done anywhere, why does it have to be assisated with varrock?
