In the KB base, it says as a reward for hard tasks you get access to the bank under Cooks guild. I cba right now to do pointless tasks but id still like to see it, anyone whos done it yet got any pics of it?

And dragon, i dont mind that A.D. takes place in varrock. Id personally liked it more in Fremmy myself but the poll was done and most have decided Varrock.

I for one applaud updates like these. Yes the reward may be lame but the sense of achievment is huge.

 

 

 

Last time I had to raise skills to achieve anything was getting 100 combat for the Karamaja Diary. With this one I will have to raise my smithing. That's good though! I've been wanting to train smithing for ages but it is slow, boring work with no reward. At least now I have a goal to work for, even if the end result is mostly pointless.

If there is really a 20 plus percent chance of smelting two bars instead of one i wouldnt call this pointless at all. Gl with it

This update looks really good, I know my spectre tasks are going to be easier from now on! I probably won't do the diary until the crowds die down though.

If your arguing this even a top 5 update of the month, your hurting, because it clearly just sucks, the reward is rather uninspiring for the time involved, move your house? wtf does that *Really* have to do with varrock, Change your house trim? Nice money drain. The frem areas would of been nicer.

 

 

 

God wars was made for high levels sure, And perhaps you are unable to kill a boss, but what real achievemnts lay within this? they may as well made it a real challange and said "Complete all challange scrolls" After all, hey that is in the champions guild, and made a *Real* reward for it. But alas the sound of the miniclip generation crying out to the stars screaming "its no fair I have to kill 15k imps for a challange scroll!!!" is more painful then hearing high levels moan about a worthless lame diary

 

I would of thought this months quest was the miniclip geared update, but dang....

The only way you can defend this update is if your stats are so low, you cant do much else.

i must be the only one who likes the look of the new herbs.they look way better than the childish 2d ones we had.

The achievements diaries are designed to make players explore an area. They are made from the perspective of a player who has NEVER explored the area.

 

 

 

From such a perspective they are great, interesting and introduce you to some new things.

 

 

 

Sure they are a bit rubbish if your a high level as monsters aren't aggressive,you've been to these places b4 etc. But its not Jagex fault you already know the area as you take the time to do quests etc.

 

 

 

Just wait until a brand new city comes out (eg priffindas) with an achievement diary straight away, it will seemless useless then as you will actually been exploring and discovering new things from doing the diary.

I Think it's pretty sad that most of the "achievements" are just plainly FORCED achievements.

The addy helm is because it is not overly high, and varrock is famous for its anvils. Your overlooking it.

The Varrock level 2 armour is waaaay different to the level 1. :) and its very light for its def.!!!

Its a good change ok it wont take you all day but its fun and it shows how many people lack certain skills - hence the moaning!!!!

It would be better if more than 10% of the acheivements had something to do with varrock. Making addy helms etc. can be done anywhere, why does it have to be assisated with varrock?
