ewan
Just had a random thought they did, to encourage people to get memebrs as to rid themselves of many. Thoughts? speedy1135
i think they pay more attention to member worlds, because they want to keep the paying people happy... I don't think they do it to encourage f2pers to get members, they just pay less attention to f2p worlds

I don't think they do it to encourage f2pers to get members, they just pay less attention to f2p worlds pretty much agreed, because people in members actually pay for the game, and they want paying customers to be happy, so they'd recieve money. And they do ban alot of autoers in f2p aswell, you just cant tell it so easily, as it doesn't cost a thing to make new account in f2p [/url]">[4Th in Finland to achieve 99 mining. 3Rd of June 2007]Pixels make me horny. Peronix
I think they certainly pay more attention to banning autoers in members, to keep their paying customers happy, but that doesn't mean they ignore F2P. They ban thousands of autoers in F2P every month but the problem is that it's easy just to create a mass of new accounts and auto them back up to the levels they need. Master_Smither
They want to deal with paying customers first. Thats simple. If F2p see how non macro memebers is they might go memebers. krisc6
one of the main reasons i went p2p was because of the autoer problem so if im working with youre theory then youre correct.
TeeBeaun
Speaking about autoers, I have been waiting ever since the release of the pure/normal essence for a similar type of solution with yew logs. In that, logs cut in F2P can only be burned and logs in P2P can either be burned or Fletched. It was just an idea, and I wonder if they will ever do it. BBC3
ive timed myself, it takes under 5 mins to make a new account from scratch. members requires money which means they are probably even frauding their members or buying members illegally, why should jagex concentrate on f2p first, why do topics like these even exist. 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin

If YOU CAN'T COMPREHEND THAT then DON'T POST. so you're saying they don't ban macroers on f2p on purpose.. basically making macroing legal on f2p? if that was the case then everyone would have a f2p accoun constantly autoing to harvest yews etc. No.. jagex doesnt want autoers anywhere: f2p or p2p but their priorities are with p2p. when p2p autoing is at a more managable level i'm sure they will make a big crackdown on the f2p macros. schmuall
If F2p see how non macro memebers is they might go memebers. Remind me how your average non-member is meant to see member worlds? give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
jackjonson
call me crazy but doesnt this theory say the opposite about jagex? you seem to think they only care about making money yet they mass ban the autoers on member servers...
Sbrideau
call me crazy but doesnt this theory say the opposite about jagex? you seem to think they only care about making money yet they mass ban the autoers on member servers... You just contradicted yourself, if they ban macroers in members, the will keep the players that pay. Then they don't lose them because of the macroing problem, then the f2pers get members so they don't have as much autoers and such.
unkn0wnwarrior
They are definitely banning autoers in F2P a lot. I have actually walked past the Yew trees south of Falador recently and seen zero people cutting them. However, as has been said, it is too easy to make new ones. And because of that there will always be more on the way.
Olbritishchap
well they are probably banning as many of them on f2p as they are on p2p, i mean if you only plan to make your auto in f2p, it could take about 10 minutes to get him autoing his way up to wc 70. swordwarior
Yes, way easier to make a f2p account. I think jagex is doing the best they can getting rid of them. They are expected to update once a week, and they've been sticking close to that and still got rid of a fair amont of autoers. They will always come back and in 2 months im sure there will be posts about how they ruin the game, but jagex is doing what they can to get rid of them and improve rs
