September 13, 200718 yr Its been a little over a year since construction came out, perhaps more. Why haven't they come out with new rooms? Apart from the costume room, there's been no real focus on construction. Anyone care to share their thoughts?
September 13, 200718 yr its perhaps 1 of the best filled out skills... the only [bleep] i have about it is, i can put shield and weapons in my house i get from quests. id like to put my obby shield dragon square granite shield and much more. like brine sabre keris ancient mace and tons more aswell...
September 13, 200718 yr When there's a whole new skill that's come out (hunter), and godwars, and clanchat, how can you want an extra room? Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
September 13, 200718 yr I suppose Jagex feels Construction is updated enough already. It probably is since this is the first such thread I've seen since it's release. ~It's Super Effective! September 13, 200718 yr To be honest I can't actually think of any additional rooms they could even make which would provide any use. The only addition to POH I want to see is some kind of expansion to the Quest Hall. What a stupid room currently! I want a Quest Treasure Chest somewhere in that room where I can just dump all my Quest items which are too interesting to just throw away.. Would be so much more usefull than adding more bankspace. :|

September 13, 200718 yr Construction is the most finished skill around IMO. I'd rather see updates for firemaking, hunter, agility, etc. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+
September 13, 200718 yr One thing I would love, would be being able to put items into the costume things, without having the complete set! My bank is litter with random stuff, like white mystic here, lederhosen there.
September 13, 200718 yr Construction has been thought out for years theres not many rooms that NEED added. It's well thought out. Yeah loads on items you can only get for free once that should be stored, Keris, Barrelchest anchor, Ancient mace, Karaja gloves, Varrock armour, RC pouches, camulet, prayer books, catspeak ammy, ring of charos and all sorts. Mind you a new banking system like the one suggested in these forums and more space would be better.. One thing I would love, would be being able to put items into the costume things, without having the complete set! My bank is litter with random stuff, like white mystic here, lederhosen there. That would save me 5 slots, 3 parts of lumber jack & two parts of zombie in my bank.. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 14, 200718 yr I think of construction needed an update it would be in the number of rooms you can have and the number of floors. I understand they put a limit to save server space, but it severly limits your ablity to make an awsome dungeon and adding in extra halls because of staircases... It would also be cool to build a more compact house by building up rather then out.
September 14, 200718 yr When there's a whole new skill that's come out (hunter), and godwars, and clanchat, how can you want an extra room? Look at what you just said and you will find your answer. All these things and things that we had before these came out such as what jessy said earlier are the reasons people would want extra rooms CLICK - 770th to 99 SLAYER 2/4/08 - 204th to 99 Summoning 7/1/08 CLICK[Hide=List of Drops That I haven't updated in Years but want to keep in my Sig anyways...]VISAGE DROP - 12/06/073 Duo Sara Hilts, 3 Duo Arma Hilts, 2 Trio Arma Hilts.Dark Bows: (11) Dragon Boots: (50!)Whip Drops: (42!!!) September 14, 200718 yr I think they should add some new rooms, wat about your very own agility course  Or farming room with patches or lil lake where u can do some fishing
September 14, 200718 yr Not one of my fav skills contruction I have basically built rooms that will be useful. No point wasting time and money on rooms that have any good uses Gorak Chronicles Ended, thinking of something new for next week
September 14, 200718 yr I think they should add some new rooms, wat about your very own agility course Or farming room with patches or lil lake where u can do some fishing But where does it end? A room with cuttable trees, your own rocks to mine, your own alters to craft runes, your own tree which grows money? It just isnt plausable to have rooms like this. It would make training skills TO easy, not to mention completly butcher the economy. I think construction is very well developed. The only addition I can see is perhaps storage of more items. But even still, I dont think it's in any need of an update anytime soon.
September 14, 200718 yr You know, what would be nice would be to have a Herblore based room, where you can mix potions in a cauldren en masse, and perhaps some new recipies for some combination potions? Jagex has already laid out a rule of combining potions, based off sanfew serum: Primary potion + Secondary ingredient(s) of secondary (and tertiary if possible) potion(s) + combining ingredient = Combination potion. What would be good would be that you could distill your own ingredients or heat others to change them into other ingredients. Jagex could provide some basic recipies combining basic and super potions, but place plenty of unannounced recipies in the game for players themselves to discover, and possibly name after themselves if they were the original discoverer? You say the problem with bank space. How about herb and ingredient storage? It's one of the great bank fillers. ~ W ~
September 14, 200718 yr ^^ Creative Idea. I like it! But one issue with the below quote: You say the problem with bank space. How about herb and ingredient storage? It's one of the great bank fillers. House storage is not currenly coded to hold multiple items. Only 1 of each. Changing this could take months if not over a year of coding to make, when they could just add a regualr row of bankspace instead. So I dont see this idea very plasuable, not for any current time anyways. But I do like your mixing herbs idea.
September 14, 200718 yr The only thing I like to see more of in POHs are more trophies in the skill and quest halls, theres still tons of space for it in those rooms. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
September 14, 200718 yr I think a Barrows Armor display room would be nice. That's 24 bank spaces I could free up. And I also like the idea of the quest items chest. They allow us to store our Holiday drops right away, so why not our quest items? Dragon Drops - 10 Meds, 9 Legs, 5 Skirts, 2 Left HalfPM me to have any potions made or crafting done
September 14, 200718 yr construction has been worked on since the beginning (carpentry) there are very few flaws in it 4000000657th to 99 cookin555555406th to 99 flethcin
September 14, 200718 yr Con is quite awesome as it is :). We have everything we need already, really, and a few things we don't need :P. I gots pretty much everything :o. Two studies for the lecturns, a guilded alter, skill hall (with kq head :o:O) and a quest hall, for the glory :P. Costume room, saves me LOTS of bank space, and a portal room :P, but I'm thinking of building another one, cuz I need more portals :P and I don't like making all sorts of teletabs all the time. (I use Lunar magics :P).
September 15, 200718 yr Jagex invented construction to be a money drain, hardly anyone works on it so why would they still update it? Ponies!
September 15, 200718 yr I suppose Jagex feels Construction is updated enough already. It probably is since this is the first such thread I've seen since it's release. It's just the later levels that get me, I'm going through thousands of planks to get to the next level so I can make some new torches :? My Blog To 87 Construction
September 15, 200718 yr Why update construction when you can update rc (still missing blood and soul crafting after all this time) or other skills like firemaking (pointless skill?) or other skills that have gaps, and many other options that come right to mind. when you think of a new construction room, not much comes up, but for other skills, you have loads of things that could be made. 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
