September 17, 200718 yr You'd like to know where the generous people have gone? Apparently, they got sick of your begging, and headed out to somewhere you weren't. The Heroes' Guild dragon is tough enough to get. If I was in their shoes, I would've done the exact same thing. You really shouldn't have expected them to just hand over their valuables to someone they didn't even know, nor cared about. Archaeology Supporter
September 17, 200718 yr I think your asking for to much here. Your asking total strangers for around 6k worth of items, and you expect them to just give them to you straight away. It would probably take them around 10 more mins of there time to get another 4 hides, so you've got to expect people to say no sometimes. September 17, 200718 yr Out, with the rest you people  Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
September 17, 200718 yr Since your not in an athmosphere where your not going to see everybody again and become friendly with them anymore people generally stick to the motto "think for yourself" I just ask friends for favours and in return I do favours for them, it evens out in the long run. And gl with the clue scroll! www.di-rs.com
September 17, 200718 yr I think in this situation your more of the selfish noob than them. People kill blue drags to make money eg they want to sell the hides for maximum profit You got annoyed they wouldn't give you 4 items they have "harvested" to sell then killed 24 more dragons then necessary to annoy them. IMO your foolish for thinking "low" levers killing blue drag for cash from hides would give the hides away and selfish for acting like a child and stealing thier spawn when you didn't get what you want. Being generous is a two way thing you know. I've helped many people in my time when they DON'T ask for it. Eg guy in edge for like 10 mins trying to buy the blue d-hide items I ask him why.He said he needed them for a ttrail.I said oh I've got some blue hides sitting in my bank and can craft thoose items. If you go get the hides tanned and give me a needle and thread I'll make them for you. Traded gave him the hides, carried on flethcing for couple of mins he came back and I made his stuff. Why did Ihelp him where as I'd of ignored you? He didn't ask to be helped and was merely trying to buy AND when he didn't get his own way after a short convo he didn't act like an immature child to get "revenge" So, you only help people when they aren't asking to be helped? :-s Now you sound like the immature one to me. I'd have seen it this way: If the original people training had given him the dhides, they'd have only wasted 4 blue dhides. If the poster had killed 4 blue dragons to get the dhides, the trainers would have lost the combat exp, the bones and the hides. This signature is intentionally left blank.
September 17, 200718 yr Well, you haven't run into me before, if people ask for something small, I usually give it to them, unless I really need it. September 17, 200718 yr I wouldve done the same thing lol, I wouldve asked if they wanted me to take there spot and if not give me 4 hides and id be on my way. They deserved it, good job =D>

If the poster had killed 4 blue dragons to get the dhides, the trainers would have lost the combat exp, the bones and the hides. You're ignoring the crucial point: He's asking for 6k's worth of stuff so he can do a clue. His motivation for asking for the stuff is that he wants to make money. He's asking for free stuff, so he can make money............................................................................................ You're saying that by taking their stuff rather than the kills he would have been doing them a favour? Anyway i highly doubt he killed 28 dragons in a row while they just stood there being angry.
September 18, 200718 yr Well when i go at blue dragons I'm there to collect hides because i need them. People that comes there and asks free hides/bones are nothing else thank simple beggars. They even offered you buy them, but i guess 6k is a lot to you, and you rather beg for them. Guess what if those 6k is that much for you, maybe you realize that it's maybe a lot to them too. You were the one immature and arrogant while lvl 80's were normal player. Because of people like you, generous people leaving thins game or turning chats off so they don't have to deal with it. 1500+ total 89 cmb; 1600+ total and under 93 cmb. 02/04/07 reached all skills 60+ under lvl 90 cmb. 07/19/07 reached all skills 70+ at lvl 93 cmb.Prayer is good for herbs

If the poster had killed 4 blue dragons to get the dhides, the trainers would have lost the combat exp, the bones and the hides. So he was doing them a favour by trying to take their stuff? What do you mean if he killed four dragons, he killed 28 dragons; thats just petty and he did it because he was angry nobody wanted to give him any free stuff. To the poster: You're better than the bank beggar in that you were asking for something specific, you're far worse however because you started taking kills you didn't really want and then posted here trying to get people to agree with you.
September 18, 200718 yr So, you only help people when they aren't asking to be helped? :-s Now you sound like the immature one to me. I'd have seen it this way: If the original people training had given him the dhides, they'd have only wasted 4 blue dhides. If the poster had killed 4 blue dragons to get the dhides, the trainers would have lost the combat exp, the bones and the hides. How i helping those who do not ask for it immature? :-k For example I'm mining iron say and two miners show up both using bronze picks, both high enough level to use rune picks but can't afford them. One whines about not having one, asks me if I have a spare pick and can he have it for free. One forges on with his mining, without complaint. To give the my spare rune pick to the one who asked for it merely promotes begging and makes him thinking begging is the way to go. If I give it to the one who forged on without complaint it promotes generosity etc. As for your theory on what should of happened: a) He was basically begging for the hides, which people collect for money. Giving stuff to him would of just made him beg more in the future and I'm fairly sure if you were moneymaking you wouldn't be so willing to give up the resources. B) IF the poster had been normal and killed 4 blue dragons it'd would of been fine, a nice non-begging way to do things. No doubt the other 2 wouldn't of minded sharing the dragon 3ways for a few mins so he could get some hides. BUT he didn't, he got annoyed they didn't give him free stuff when he begged and therefore stood and killed 28 dragons Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
September 18, 200718 yr Once you become 100 combat with more than 1700 total you get a special item that spawns gold in your inventory. Too bad we all become selfish jerks at that point, so we'll never share our wealth. And if you're lucky you find this object at an even lower level, so once you ifnd this object you can turn into a jerk too. The guy who revused to give you your hides obviously has that item. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
September 18, 200718 yr Maybe you were not the first one that asked for 4 d hide. Maybe 10 other people came to him and asked for some hide/bone. oh and mEb..i cant find that item in my bank :wall: :-k
September 18, 200718 yr oh and mEb..i cant find that item in my bank :wall: :-k Don't tell anyone, but that was actually a cynical post that should make the topic starter realise that everyone has to work for his/ her st00fs. September 18, 200718 yr Why didn't you just kill 4 in the first place :? These people are just money hogs don't let them get to you. 4 d hide is like 5k or so they are just pathetic people. Or they're just very stupid and inmature. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
September 18, 200718 yr Yes, and whats so hard about you trading 8k for the d'hides, hmm?? Are you so much of a cheapskate you can't just buy the hides? Or are you so lazy you can't walk to the bank?? You were the bigger noob in that stuation tbh.
September 18, 200718 yr After reading the title, a lot of generous people were coming out of hiding, but after reading the story, they decided it was better to keep hiding. :XD: Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
September 18, 200718 yr They couldn't just spare you 5k worth of hides? Sad. I would have probably done the exact same thing as you have. Don't regret what you've done, they're just greedy children. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
September 18, 200718 yr I will give 4 d hide i suppose, since it could allow me to kill like 4 more dragons:) and probably get a half d square?:)
September 18, 200718 yr There's a difference between begging and asking, he asked, he didn't beg. If I was him, I would have attacked the dragon with a bronze dagger so it never died, because I dislike the general idiotic Runescape population. ^^ Current goals ^^
September 18, 200718 yr So i go in and instead of just killing the drag 4 times, I attack the drag as soon as it spawns and get it, and kill it till my bag is full of just d hides(i buried the bones). Of course this got them angry and i told them this could've been prevented if they just spared 4 hides, and instead lost 28 kills. You really cut off your nose to spite your face there... Telling them it could've been prevented if they spared 4 hides is also a kinda weird thing to say, sounds like something the mafia would come out with... :P They probably needed the hides (that is why they were there) and simply decided to get best out of the situation, as all people instinctivly do. In some cases people use a friendlier judgement, that just was not meant to be in your case.
September 18, 200718 yr Begging = Asking for free stuff Why are you defending him, he was too lazy to get his own hides so he calls other people immature for not giving him the hides. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

September 18, 200718 yr Where have all the generous people gone? Indeed! @Andrew: I guess you figured that it was generous enough of you to merely offer to take their hides (and time, profit/hr, crafting xp/hr), instead of also taking their combat xp, prayer xp too? Well, I suppose you're entitled to your point of view, but perhaps true generousity in this case, would have been to put yourself in the dragonslayers' shoes, before ever opening your mouth. Why are they down there? How could you make their RS experience more fun, as well? With that in mind, you could have offered them 10K for the 4 hides. Leave it up to them if they wish to reward your generous cash offer with free hides, or not. Afterall, generosity is meant to be given freely, not taken by force of persuasion or arms. If they refuse to trade at all, or insist on extorting your black dragon armor in return, then take your 4 kills, and begone. Or stay and train, as you wish. But please, for the love of god, realize that generosity and respect are two way streets. Give some out, and maybe it'll warm their hearts, as well. Maybe it won't, but at least you'll have been the better person for having tried. @Paw Claw I understand your point totally. Sometimes it feels better to bestow a boon on those who at least try to exercise self-sufficiency. They may fail, because they lack skill or ability, but not owing to a lack of effort.
