Discuss? Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored. Even if they are at edgeville, it is highly unlikely you even have the time to pm them. Although this doesn't affect me as I rarely got pked anyway, hopefully it will mean more people give runecrafting a chance before dismissing it as a useless skill, as being pked was one of the reasons people choose not to runecraft. RC PK'ers started declining not only after the ZMI update, but after Jagex made it so they can attack you over monsters. Our little shields of skeletons are worthless now, and it doesn't even matter. Most of the pkers trying to kill you while rcing are just taking a small break from regular pking; 90% of rc pkers you will see actually pk are regular pkers. They might get bored after not seeing anyone to kill their level, perhaps, and make their way over to the zamorak mage to see if they can get in a rcer kill. If you pay attention to how long rc pkers stay it's usually 1-2 trips. Most of them come and go very fast; you could see an entire group of pkers your level attempting to kill you on one trip, but the next trip the area could be completely deserted. It's a common misconception some runecrafters make when they are usually angry at rc pkers. They blame them for having no life, doing something that gets you very little profit, or just staying there for hours every day trying to win some d'hide. Truth is- most of them try to kill a few rcers their level and then leave- usually out of boredom or frustration. There are some, though, that do rc pk for profit. These people are the stereotypical rc pkers and do actually stay near the zamorak mage more than regular pkers. From experience, they have either been low level(apparently it is a good money-maker for them) or very high level teleblockers(who make a very good gp per hour teleblocking and snaring). Aquashock Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 I still rcpk from time to time, but people have to realize that rc pkers don't always just hop worlds looking for runecrafters. I know personally the only times I rcpk is when im bored with everything else and I notice a runecrafter my level.
