People like the leader of Smokin Mils SHOULD be banned. I don't care wtf anyone says, that's just bullcrap. It didn't affect me whatsoever, but just because it's possible for someone to do what he did, doesn't mean it should be allowed.

 

 

 

To hoard like 100,000 Prayer Potions? Give me a break. If I was in Jagex, I'd be like, "Wtf?" And just ban him and not think anything of it other than the fact that he deserved it." People like that piss me off so much. My personal little theory is also proven correct with this situation as well... that anyone with that much money gained it unfairly or at the expense of others. Every extremely rich person I've ever met has been a douchebag also.

 

 

 

I'm not saying anything more on this subject then this. all they have to do to get rid of this hyperinfaltion or hypoinfaltion is to set prices on items so they cant change yes it would make people mad but it would stop basically all rwt with junk, merchant clans therefore your can go to GE and buy/sell items w/o having to worry about people having all those items for a profit

 

 

 

God forbid someone who has ran out of supplies and need to buy more cant because some [wagon] decided to buy those items out so they will go up for a bit of profit there is no fair game in any of that. and if you think that its just as unfair for jagex to just lock prices so they never move guess what your wrong this is a game to play not to manipulate and make it harder or just plain boring for others to play.

 

 

 

I don't disagree that you should be able to buy a item for a little lower then sell a littler higher for some profit but for a small group of people buying items and locking them out of the economy is just wrong and not at all respectable within the lest.

 

 

 

If you want rare items/money go earn it either kill the monsters that drop the item you want or go make some money using the skill that the game already has in it instead of just taking advantage of others to make you money that is total lazy and immature.

He should be banned why? The broken Grand Exchange system allows people to buy out whatever they want and be rewarded for it. There's no rules saying he and others can't organize to push item prices up. If Jagex even cared to fix this problem, which I doubt they do, they should make the system not abuse-able. While I don't support this kind of system nor do I use it, I don't think banning players is the answer.

 

 

 

The problem isn't even just the clan leader or the clan, it's every single player who uses the grand exchange. When people found out they were buying out prayer potions and ranarrs, etc. everyone went to put in offers for max price adding to the problem. If you don't like the grand exchange, don't use it, everything (with the exception of discontinueds) is entirely possible to get yourself. The few days p pots weren't buyable I killed monsters for ranarrs and ranarr seeds and farmed my own.

Thats because there where no trade limits, this way anyone could charge/pay what they want, not being dictated to pay an outragious price for prayer pots....

If you ban the merchant clan leaders, ban them as what they are: Scammers. This isn't about prices. This is misleading players for your profit.

The problem is that, like many others, you're incorrectly labeling them. Merchanting, by far, is not a new concept to Runescape. Rather, the Grand Exchange has popularized the art of manipulating. Merchants feed to the natural demand for items. People usually want items quickly and the merchants fill that desire. Manipulators create their own demand by purposely buying out an item en masse using hoards of followers to direct. This then creates additional sideffects. As I said, manipulators rely on consumer greed to fuel their profit; everyone and their brother knew that prayer potions were being bought out and put in an offer hoping to make a quick buck. To get these followers, manipulators rely on advertisers who are usually bots or are lower levels wishing to make it up the manipulation ladder (ranked in a clan chat is usually common) . As a result, normal players have begun to see an increase in spam when vistiting the Grand Exchange in worlds with a population at over 1,500 people.

Did 1 to 30 on crayfish and 30 to 50 on trout/salmon today. I plan on using the rest of my feathers then I willgo to bed. I was getting 26k xp an hour since 35. About level 60 I should be getting 35-45k xp an hour powerfishing.
