So I decided to wait in his tomb and, rather than warn him, just bless him instead. So I waited for a good ten minutes, then found him using the poison-and-hide method on Guthan. I never slay with magic so i dont really want to add it to my slay helm and just an after thought: minus the hex the loot from 98 was about 250k.
