Spent 6m on attempted claw/ags lures with bss/veracs. Safe to say, Jagex [bleep]ed us again. My friend splashed while using max mage on a rune set PKer who was protecting melee and was out of food. Really? Why is this [cabbage] not fixed. I think if the difference between your opponents magic defence and your magic attack reaches a certain amount you should be guaranteed a hit.

 

Not saying over power magic, but if you have +120 magic attack and they have -60 magic defence, why are you still able to splash? 100% damage when the difference is great enough wouldn't be overpowering it imo, just making it fair.

Thanks by the way Jagex, for giving me that 750 rambo dds spec when i was trying to die to my opponent but not giving me a korasi hit over 250 when i was about to down full bandos, claws, ags and fury.

Was going to post a video of me and Kelly Dharoking Bandos (Which worked incredibly well... Constant 700+ hits), but some guy tried to crash us so... Didn't vid since they weren't really duos. Will vid again later. :P. Like really... We asked him to finish what we thought would be a fast trip and he comes in second kill. [bleep]ing kids.

Did it work in an "OMFG why isn't everyone doing this?" way or a "lol i bet i'm going to die but eh it was funny" kind of way? Would you suggest it as a legit method :D?

I'd definitely suggest it as a legit method. Maybe not for soloing (Never tried in a solo) but definitely duoing. We went because we get random ideas in our heads like this one:

 

For the DHnig, we used whip/rapier/Ely for KC then used the Yaks to bank them; We only wanted to DH. I imagine it'd be even better with Ely/rapier for when you heal high, then equip axe when you're 400- HP. We were both hitting back to back 500-700s and the occasional 800+.

That wouldn't be fair.

You don't 100% hit somebody with range if their range armor is lower then your range attack bonus

Good point, but i still think that there is something that has to be done. Maybe not 100% hit, but something. I shouldn't be frequently splashing teleblocks in full ahrims, mages book and master wand on full rune. That basically makes any significant magic bonus redundant.

 

@Wicked, that video is epic. I can barely get 5 kills with my best gear, how you got any in that boggles my mind. DHing sounds pretty good, but at the same time stupidly risky, i panic if i drop to 650lp at bandos, couldn't imagine staying so low for so long >.<

I usually start with anywhere from 25-50M. There's the odd occasion that you lose like 7-10 in a row, but that's not usually within the first 100 stakes. By then you can make a good 200M or so.

 

I do the double if you lose tactic. Depending on the amount I have, I'll do:

1M - 3M - 7M - 15M - 31M - 63M - 127M - 255M - 511M - 1023M
2M - 6M - 14M - 30M - 62M - 126M - 254M - 510M - 1022M - 2046M
4M - 12M - 28M - 60M - 124M - 252M - 508M - 1020M - 2044M - 4092M
5M - 15M - 35M - 75M - 155M - 315M - 635M - 1275M - 2555M - 5115M
10M - 30M - 70M - 150M - 310M - 630M - 1270M - 2550M - 5110M - 10230M

Now, I don't often do 10Ms until I've made about 300M. As you can see, there's little room for error. Sometimes, if I'm doing good and manage to lose a few, I'll go all-out and bet all my earnings at once... Have yet to lose doing this as well. :P.

lol what size is that monitor? I have a 35 inch HP and playing RS on it is ridiculous. I can see the entire GE + the outside dirt/grass area lol.

See, when Kel goes, she loses a ton because she's not willing to do the big ones. For example, she'll lose a 2-6-14-32-62 and will stop. Well... If you stop, you're taking a 116M loss. Can't be affraid to go that one higher because eventually you will win and get your money back + profit. ;).

 

Funny story. Met a guy there who'd apparently known how much I was making there. The second day ever talking to him, he offers to give me 50M to play with... As long as I return it and possibly give him some profit. Well, Kel hopped on another account so I gave it to her to box with. She ended up, once again, being too scared to go that one higher and lost it. So I gave 'em 2 spectrals for trying to help out. :).
