Now, I'm not saying these were MY random events, but has anyone else noticed the increase in random events?

I got absoluetely heaps yesterday, way more than my friend who was fletching with.. i had over 20 in about 2 hours 30, he had about 2..

 

 

 

then today he's getting more than me

95% of the time i get a Random, Wtf is that about, so annoying when your going somewhere to trade :evil:

Nope, they just seem to increas ewith the unlimited amount of new randoms we get. oh blessed are the days when there was only golem, sulphur vent, end, tree spirit, troll, fish, whirlpool and mime.

But i think its random...sometimes i dont get them for weeks.

I get tons of them constantly about a 95% chance if im teleporting after I close my bank.

I have loads at fire giants.

Please remember Random events are completely random. And yes, hence the word Random. It's possible to get many Random events in a short amount of time, and not many for a long amount of time.

It feels like they come more frequently now, I just recently started playing again after a big break and I've gotten 50+ Mysterious Old Man, aswell as several Mimes (Got very few before break, got like 6 after), Freaky Foresters, Drill Sergeants (Never got one before I started playing again, got like 4 now in this short time) Mr. Mordaunt about 15 - 20 times, Molly like 5 times, Drunken Dward 10+ times, Frog prince 20+ times, Sandwich Lady 15+ times etc..

 

 

 

Either that or it's just a global coincidence.

I got 8 randoms in 1 1/2 hours, because I was watching youtube vids in between. :-)

What really confuses me is their implementation of the events :uhh:

 

 

 

I've gotten the teleport abyssal random from using an elf crystal before. Once from a ring of dueling, even.

Absolutely, I had a lot of them today. 3 Drill Demons today and 4 of the School Dragon Teacher dude things which gives Book of Knowledge. The books of knowledge were great though :thumbsup:

 

 

 

I've never gotten so many before, so they must've increased them lately.

I feel that they have increased. It has increased for skills that gather raw materials and bring them into the game. That's why Fook A Ji only had those two random events as there aren't a lot of auto-firemakers out there, if any.

I dislike random event. i get too many while training. :twisted:

 

most useless events: kill pheasant event & Miming event.

those mysterious boxes are becoming a pain more then ever.

Although I haven't noticed an increase recently, there has for certain, over the last year or so, been a remarkable increase in random events.

 

 

 

I don't know what Jagex are thinking.... if a random once every 20 mins isn't stopping bots, then what make them think that one every 10 mins will?

 

 

 

Alching seems to be the worst.... to my knowledge, not many bots alch.

 

 

 

Fishing is much worse now with migrating spots. It used to be tolerable when they moved just a few spaces. Now they can disappear altogether, leaving you with a 50-100 space hunt to find a new one

They aren't completely random though. It depends on what you are doing.

IT'S RANDOM. Maybe you can get them more often when you're in more frequented places of autoers or not. BUT THEY ARE STILL RANDOM. It doesn0't increase or decrease.

Even random things aren't random. This is a logical universe... technically "random" is impossible.

They aren't completely random anyway - doing certain actions makes you more likely to get a certain type of event. And I STILL haven't gotten a mime event after all these years.

In the last hour of hunter i've gotten

 

 

 

1 MOM

 

and 5 MOM - mystery box things!! 5!!!!
