I have a feeling that "ulwelcome" players are going to be abused. "This is a private party, leave, n00b!"

Not a good idea in my opinion. Private parties are all but gone in the Party Room now. Members just say "Go to your POH", but F2P got the party room, so know instead of enjoying a fun event where you can't use tele grab, now people will have to go to different locations and risk tele grabbers.

 

 

 

A step in the wrong direction here.

The thing that bothers me most about this update is the spam that the Bankers generate. It's like having five autotypers with the delay setting on 1 second lined up next to each other. :wall:

If people had any doubt by now that Jagex was simply tossing a few updates to stop RWT, its all gone by now. now its clear: Jagex has waged war on rule breakers. A good goal to earn, and interesting ways of working towards it: disguise it as a new update to excite players. If you ask me, Jagex is doing a very good job, but I think that they're thinking too hard on the wrong topics. I mean, who uses the public method of party petes to covertly transfer valuebles? any wandering noobie comes by goes "omg it might be something good" and ends up, ironically, with something good. And of course the change in rune buying because apparently some players used it to transfer gold, but of course some of the money would be lost in buying the items... I mean, what could possibly be next? Though I like Jagex's ideas, I really think they should couple it with things players will like. Kinda like what they did with the duel tourney, except people still hate them -.-

2. Grand Exchange - They limit prices so nobody can charge exceptionally low for real life trading, or charge very high to transfer large amounts of cash.

 

Technically, they don't really need the price limits to stop RWT through the Grand Exchange since trades are done anomynously and nobody knows who their items will go to.

 

 

 

 

 

As for the Party Room being connected to bankers and having parties announced, I don't really care since I've never actually gone to a full blown drop party there anyways. I also doubt that, were I to hold a drop party of my own, it would be held there.

Jagex is step by step heading into the right direction IMO.

 

Plus, Im always free to thrash a 1mil+ drop party.

1.Duel Arena Updates - They made the duel arena back into what it used to be, a place to use your best armour and fight each other without losing items. (And to stop stakers getting 5357356364 Masks)

Because I play this game called RuneScape where people have always staked high, including multiple rares, since RSC. I don't know if you've heard about it..

Meh, I like the fact that it DOES prevent item trading, but if you want to have a private party, it's kind of useless now. Sure, you COULD go to a small population world, but there still will be extras.

Wait wait wait wait wait. I was always under the impression that if you wanted to have a private party, you'd do so in a private POH. Just wouldn't make sense in the Party Room, if you asked me.

I though this was a ok update. I got a story about this as well...i forgot what world i was in but it said there was a 1mill + d party i was like" ok i could make some money there"...so i go to the party room and i look in the cehst to see whats going to be droped, there was like itron full helms and bunch of other stuff that did not add to 1 mill, then i look to see...8.5k maple long bows (u) -.- yeah big waste of time...

This is definitely a good update. It will stop drop traders in the party room.

 

 

 

 

 

BUT this also sucks. Now clans can't have private party room drop parties in the party room(well more then 1m gold dropping.) Just have it in the wildy :P

Doesn't affect me much to be honest.

 

Most people use drop parties anyways.

 

Party hall was originally made so people could enjoy parties without telegrabbers, but now I haven't seen a telegrab in a drop party in years :shock:

Let's just give the little kids a way to change their stats at will next week.
