the_Mattman
how about the hit points? will it also raise? or just like prayer: it takes combat levels, but no hitpoint levels?
Winner5555
Looks pretty good, I'm just hoping it won't be TOO much of a grind to raise. 621st person to achieve 99 slayer on December 3rd, 2007177th person to 99 summoning on June 21st, 2008

alcoolj
Cons ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ those of us who like Bounty Hunter will have to sacrifice training summoning to stay within a certain cave level. Pros ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ You will have a companion to talk to during the quiet times! Cannon fodder for all those uncertain times ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ summon critter then run away :)
Mil
My only concern is that there will be more 'higher levels'. All the level 90's would reach about 100, 100 to 110 if it works the way it should. This might be good for some, but might make someone people more overpowered than others. ie. Level 100 Combat in f2p with no Summoning vs Level 100 Combat in p2p with Summoning (roughly 90+8 etc.) And is summoning isnt as powerful as it should be, then this would make p2p vs f2p very unbalanaced. heh :uhh:
Toad
Formula so we know that summoning is going to give 12 combat levels, spread over 99 levels, does that mean 8 summoning levels = a combat?
n_odie
I don't know fully how the calculators work but i would think that you could replace the prayer lvs with the summoning lvs in the midrange area. However at higher lvs the calculator won't work. XD RIP MichaelangelopolousThanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig!

Maxed combat will finally mean something again and there should be way fewer "noob" 138s than noob 126s today. Nothing is saying that PC won't help level Summoning. Think, PC does help level every combat skill at the moment. But then again, PC may not help Summoning since it's not exactly directly related to PC, but it could be. I hope PC doesn't help Summoning though.
kingmerik888
pro: it will give people who love combat more then skills something to do, and a new skill is always nice :) con: it might cost ALOT of money. and they said it could cause the game to get laggy at some points, imagine world 2 falador, but with people summoning. th3warr1or
99% of the updates I say do eventually happen, examples: Jagex controlling the market & rare prices Pest Control being fixed (in a good way, it's good now). PKin as we know it removed (everyone laughed when I said that) Godswords and the Necromancy skill (aka Summoning), if you paid attention to my other posts, you'd know the next skill too  Ok Stop being so [bleep] vein You are not the best person ever alive... making up random percentages...let me be one of the first people not to kiss your [wagon] you SUCK Firstly, before you accuse people, learn to spell. it's VAIN not VEIN. 2ndly, 3HitU may be occationally proud but as far as i'm concerned most of the updates he says will happen.. DO happen. and 99% doesn't mean 99% of updates that happened he said would it means 99% of updates he PREDICTED came out. Eg: 99% of what he said could well be 10% of all the updates. Rollyboy
If summoning is p2p only, the f2p side would not get affected. Level 138 = 99 attack, strength, defence, prayer and summoning Level 126 = 99 attack, strength, defence and prayer. If summoning can't be used in f2p; then if a level 138 were to vs a level 126 in f2p, both should be equal. Summoning just adds to the total combat level. Con: Say you were a Level 90 with summoning, but have a base level of a level 80 if you were 1 summoning. You vs a f2p around level 78 - 80. Then you get beaten. Shame. fgfuyfyuiuy0
Just a guess: If I lvl Summoning to 60? 70? I could finally reach 100 combat from lvl 95. I also have 3 santas, so I should make some money before x-mas and maybe sell one to train Summoning with. I <3 Gears of War 2. dutchdreams
Depending on your point of view, the following can be a con or a pro: The extra experience points it now takes to become 126 (roughly 11.8 million in prayer, aside maxed melee) can now be divided over 2 skills. In other words, the same amount of xp needed now to be 126, will give you a lvl 136 after summoning: lvl 90 pray and lvl 90 summoning, total of 11.6 million extra xp points.
