is drop trading when sum1 drops their items and log on a different account to pick up the items right?

 

 

 

 

 

so did any1 run into a drop trade from people trying to get all their valuable belongings into their main?

 

 

 

i ran into it twice this month. i guess they wanted to do it before the jan 1 update.

 

 

 

latest found: wizzy tower on the bridge to draynor bank getting more runes

 

found: assortments of rune armor, skim, 2h, c lobs, addy arrows, lower class armor, about 200k

 

 

 

but then when i pick up every sumguy ran to the bridge and ask me if i pick up anything. course i told him no cause how would he know about the stuff. left and bank then went to train on the lesser in wizzy tower and 5min later he found out tat i did found sumthing and told me i should give it back kus we was dropping it and trying to trade it to his main. i just keep it and sold wat i can and just high alch the rest for cash.

P.s: Drop trading is that of what you stated in first post, but can't happen anymore because of the drop limit..

i remember way back in rsc, i'd hop worlds in popular spots to drop trade and pick up peoples stuff :P

You need to realize that everyone that plays runescape isnt from america.

Yeah not everyone is American. I am British and over here we like people spelling words correctly.

Yes I did see a drop trade once. I picked up the loot before it got transfered; it was 200k coins and 50k willows. Sweet.

On my noob, I ran into someone drop trading 12k. The person followed me, calling me a noob and threatening to report me, lol.

i got a r2h and rune large helm in rsc when they were both 100k xD

Back when I was a newbie, I was in Falador running back and forth between the building with the furnace in it and the general store, collecting the bronze axes that respawned upstairs and selling them in the store, thinking it was a good money maker. :oops:

 

One day, I noticed a player with a combat lvl much higher than mine was standing in a corner and he wasn't moving. I suspected he was lagging but I came to closer to inspect anyway. All of a sudden, I saw coins appear beneath the player, and I decided to take it, thinking that it was probably a few gp. To my surprise, it was 7k and I was abundant with joy!

 

For me back then, that was a small fortune, and not knowing what drop trading was, I had no idea how it got there. I was happy for a week after that.

Yeah a lot of us have run into drop trades.

 

 

 

The coolest and most daring one had to be a dude who did it in Edgeville (think it was a PKing world). He drop traded a Rune Scimitar, some coins and other stuff. I didn't manage to pick anything up, and he laughed after he got all his stuff.

Yeah, I ran into a guy dropping a load of lobbies to his pker. I got all of the lobbies but one. He threatened to report me if I didn't give them to him. Since he annoyed me, I ate all the lobbies in front of him :XD:

only nubs drop trade... I've been around for awhile, and whenever i wanted to trade items from account to account, I would just double log or have a friend transfer it.

 

 

 

Jagex lies, you don't get the banhammer from double logging.... it's been 5+ years of me doing it occasionally and i'm still here.

Last week at like 11:30 PM you couldn't trade more than 3k, but the next day that was removed :o

I remember being reported for stealing someone's drop trade. Item scamming =; They never logged back in after that day. I didn't actually get much due to having to drop all of my inventory to get at it, but there was full mithril, a bunch of runes, some mid level foods, and all sorts of arrows.
