I've seen this a lot, that's supposed to happen. They're imitating clans. They spawn that way.

 

 

 

Indeed, some revanents hunt in packs:

 

They roam throughout the Wilderness, sometimes stalking alone and sometimes hunting in packs, so you'd better keep a watchful eye out for them while you're sojourning in that barren land.

 

 

 

This is nothing special.

Nothing new, I've seen this like three times before.

I doubt J-Mods are sad enough to bother with doing this in their spare time tbh, they've got Summoning and all the upcoming updates to focus on.

 

 

 

I still don't understand why people bother going to the wilderness any more though :|

Despite general opinion, J mods really do have better things to do. :)

 

High ranked Jmods really don't have many things to do as low ranked. I have proof that Jmods are ranked... For example.. Mod Mat K is famous for being ingame.. and doing things.. and there have been events where big clans (300+ opts) gathered and suddenly everyone get a random event.

Theyre programmed to act like a PKing group

 

 

 

 

 

If they were programmed to act like a pking group, they'd stay in multi-combat high level wilderness, and gang up on people about half their combat level. Then, just before you died, you'd be pretty sure the npc's just said "Gf" and "owned noob" and "thanks for the free stuff".

 

 

 

Oh and you can't forget after eating, they'd say "omg safer noob".

I think that Jagex have copied the older wild, making it like they're a clan of monsters.

I should have screenshotted the 3 revenant Imps I saw in a marching line - followed for a while but then lost them.

 

 

 

So far, my main has not died to a revenant, though I've been driven away from Pizza making a few times, and at the dark knights, I managed to make one tele away after giving it a pasting.

 

 

 

Farcasting + walk through walls is a real pain, at least you had a chance to give real Pkers the slip

My friend and I got ambushed by that same group over by chaos elemental. And like others said they're supposed to be some sick immitation of pkers. They do their job all to well...

They are far more dangerous than their Combat level suggests, as they can attack from all three points of the combat triangle, freeze you, teleblock you, travel in packs and even 'steal' you from combat that you have initiated with another creature! Beyond that they can heal themselves, cure themselves of poison and are very aggressive. It's time to beware the Wilderness, because the revenants are here and looking to wreak terror on the living...

Since Jagex removed pkers from wildy, revanants are made to imitate high level pkers that you'd find. So some of them you find solo, and others you find in groups or 'clans'. I saw a group of them when revs just came out.

i was green dragon killing and when i was full i took the tele (forgopt the name ) and i appear in wildy lvl 50 near the rogue den with around 10-15 revnant lvl 100-120 , i got 1 hitter very fast .. even real clanwasnt thats good . and i didnt had time to pic them , but they were realy 10 + ...
