Fire giants in the Chaos Tunnels are awesome. :]

Fire giants in the Chaos Tunnels are awesome. :]

Yeah fire giants are awesome. They drops charms maybe 90-95% of the time. They also drop every color, with gold being most common. There are maybe 3 rooms full of these guys in the tunnels, just run around until you find some.

If you want fast Crimson Charms, go to the nechs in the chaos dungeon or whatever it's called, it's fast as heck with chins.

One rock crab has about 240 HP. Assuming I hit an average of 7 damage per fire bolt, that means I will kill a rock crab after 34 casts.

Assuming I cast 1000 bolts per hour, that means I will kill 29 GRCrabs in an hour.

Analysis after 4K fire bolts:

490 Gold

2 Rock shell shards (40K)

Note: I didn't count Rock shell gloves or boots. I dont think theyre possible to sell on GE, price is too high)

16K Fire (160K)

Total: 560K

What drops blue charms often I need like 10 for 25 summoning, I'm killing Kalphites right now and they aren't dropping many.

26 Green

2 Blue

5 Crimson

From my limited (as in 5 slayer tasks of 150+ of Hellhounds, Fire giants, Aberrants, Greater Demons and Kalphites) experience Aberrants drop the most blues (8 from 188 aberrants) with Kalphites second with 6 from 160ish.

Basically blues are RARE. I'm hoping something drops more than I've seen so far.

4 rune boots and only 55 charms? :-s i'd say dagannoths are a bit faster without the prayer potions.

I know that the mole drops 2 charms at a time and seems to favour dropping green.

kingmage_92.png

Gwd Drop's: Sara - 4 Hilt, 13 Ss(3 ls), Armadyl - None, Bandos - 6 Hilt, 4 Bcp, 7 Tasset, 4 Boot

Zamorak - None, Tormented Demons - 1 Dragon Claws, 1 Dragon Shard

The drop rate for bloodworms is VERY ROUGHLY 1 green charm in 6. this is after about 60 kills of data.

I also got 1 gold and 1 crimson in those 60 kills.

I got a kill rate of about 300 an hour, so that means (VERY ROUGH ESTIMATE) of 50 green charms an hour.

I must say I am very impressed after testing out the dust devils in the new dungeon. They are easier to kill too.

Yeah I made an interesting discovery yesterday. I tried to fight the dust devils without the facemask and died VERY FAST DESPITE MY BANDOS ARMOR <.< . Lost nothing thanks to the angel of death grave but now I know: Facemask is used for FIGHTING the dust devils as well as surviving in the well and is 100% mandatory.

as for quote, use

I just killed 187 infernal mages and I got 63 gold, 2 crimson 2 green and 1 blue, it took me about an hour.

I didn't read the whole thread so infernal mages may have already been suggested.

Someone should try the lvl 142 Skeletons or even skeletons in general. Also Rock Crabs are nice they drop gold charms. Though the ratio is pretty big like between 10-20+ rock crabs has a gold charm (well thats with me). With a cannon though you can get about 100+ gold charms an hour, maybe less.

Fire elementals (the ones in the smoke dungeon) drop crimson charms.

Baby black dragons drop crimson & green.

EDIT - Oh - you are looking for a detailed drop log. I will have to get back to you tomorrow on that.

I killed 31 of them and did not get a single drop from the Fire Elementals. I will look into Baby Dragons.

Just killed 147 Nechryael, 46 crimson, 4 gold, 1 blue and 3 green. took me about 1 hr 40 mins.

edit:silly me didn't realise i had 51 left of the task, so I killed 97 to get that many charms.

sounds dumb, but the lvl13 crabs by relekka drop 1 gold charm every other drop, which isn't bad really considering their HP is so low.

Good for getting up the basic levels i guess.

Just a little correction to the first post, they are known as Abyssal charms, not Obsidian charms. Oh, and they aren't Obsidian monsters either.

Basically, replace Obsidian with Abyssal.

I can't help you with drop rates at the moment, currently ftp, sorry!
