It seems like giants drops a lot of Gold charms. I'm currently training on the Moss Giants north of Ardounge and I have got a lot of them!

 

So please add Moss Giants to the Gold Charm list :)

ok, i dont really have much to add to all this talk except some speculation. If giant rock crabs drop 10 at a time they must not be the only creature to do this. They can only be killed with magic, so there must be some creature that drops 10 that can be killed with melee or range i imagen. Some people are like lvl 40 already, i doubt they were getting one charm at a time. Anyone know any melee creatures that drop more than 1?

I had an abby demon task, and started killing the little ranging guys. You know, the little dudes that hang around the abby demons at the abyssal fairy ring spot? They throw hammers at you?

 

 

 

They drop abyssal charms. These are not stackable. :\

 

 

 

On my abby task, I killed about 10 of them, and got about a 50/50 drop. 10 kills got me 2 greens, 1 crimson and 2 abysalls.

 

 

 

Abby demons do not drop charms. But I did get a whip. \

Those are the abyssal guardians? The level 59s?

they dont drop so often like the rest of the npcs but im getting a good collection of green and sometimes blue charms

agreed, that's why I moved onto Basilisks (which drop the color charm that i really need right now)

Tir and I where in the Chaos tunnels for awhile and I've noticed.

 

 

 

Zamorak Mages, Warriors, etc. All drop mostly gold.

 

 

 

Bronze Dragons also drop mostly gold.

 

 

 

Black Demon's (only did a few) but all I got was the red.

I found Ogres to be a complete waste of time even though the knowledge base states they have a "good drop-rate." Killed around 200 of them with not a single coloured charm. :?

 

 

 

Got attacked by a wolf while walking around and that dropped 1 red.

I agree, since most of the time their drops are quite poor.

 

 

 

On the other hand, I'm about halfway through a task (need sleep now) and have already pulled a whip and my first shield left half. When it dropped I said "what the heck is that?" Pity they're so devalued now, but it's still a nice drop.

so the wolves are potentially an excellent source of crimson charms. Could someone kill masses of them to verify that?

 

 

 

^That was about 1k Slayer Dart casts work, i know i have some runes left over but thats just before i left there, so i can say there quite good :D

 

That's from 100k worth of Defence exp at fire giants.

mossies r my favorite to get charms atm, in an hour and half i gained 80 gold and around 5 or 6 or green red and blue. also 5 spirit weed seeds and 8 rannar seeds 8-)

So far from friends etc it looks like giant rock crabs are the best but 1k casts for what like 50k exp I think not. There must be some way that will be discovered to get more or else this skill is going to be hellish to raise.
