db300
I like to gain levels, but it's not something that I'm obsessed over. The only thing I try and do with levels is have them well rounded and try to get them to end in a 5 or a 0. I never look at total xp though. Ouchy
I'm very obsessed over total level. It's one of the few things I'm actually proud of. As am I. Don't give a rats bum over what my combat is but I am more concerned about what my total is. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. MrSchmedley
I mainly just try to increase my total level and xp while I play.
beiiyahh
I care a LOT about my total lv and xp. if you see my stats, my total lv is incredibly high for an f2p and my total xp just owns. =D but then again, i am cocky. :)

tripsis
I'm very obsessed over total level. It's one of the few things I'm actually proud of. As am I. Don't give a rats bum over what my combat is but I am more concerned about what my total is. Likewise. I don't obsess over increasing my OWN total level, but it is usually the first thing I notice and am impressed by when I look up other people (with the exception of impressive individual stats). When I'm leveling, I only focus on individual skills. My own total level is never really something that I've been concerned about. But I usually never even look at total experience :ohnoes: The only time I pay attention to experience at all when looking up other people, is when I look at whether or not they continued training a skill after level 99. But I never really care about my own total experience. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
benar
It doesn't matter to me. I play for fun when I feel like it, and do what I want when I play. The excuse I have for some of my pitiful levels (55 range at 99 combat) is that IM NOT A RANGER! :P I made a sucessfull thread about this same topic that got lost in the rollback. :

wizardguy31
Well it's the first thing I notice about other people when looking them up in hi-scores but I don't really care about any of my levels in rs.I just play to play and any levels I get as a result is just extra gravy on the rice (and who doesn't want extra gravy on their rice?). :D I resemble that remark!Achieved quest cape for first time on: 4-2-09 WOOHOO! max_miller20
I'm to narrow minded to care about my total level. I only care about the level that I'm training at the moment. Does it really matter whether I was right? #-oThis is Tipit. There is nothing more important than being right. acenator
I don't really care too much about it. I like seeing them increase and it's fun to compare yourself with friends every now and then, but I think I'll stick to Chevy Chase's policy of measuring myself against other players "by height." Whoever names the movie that's from gets a cookie. :P > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

nightzero
Yep, but more importantly I like being able to say "all my stats are 55+",etc lulz wut?
D Jay99
Yes, I do care about it. I like to have my stats well rounded, and anyone with 120+ combat and under 1700 total should go train some non-combats :D . Also, I don't like my lowest level to be low. If mining wasn't so incredibly boring ( :wall: ) I'd go for all 80+.
Great_one
i care alot, mainly because of how high mine is in comparison to others at my combat. 1674 at 109 combat is pretty good. i am an all around player. my combat being pretty even. i like having overall stat goals too. like right now i am aming for 60+ all and 1700 total. i also want to get 1800 by november(marking my second year of play) here are my stats
Peronix
Total does matter some to me, but it's secondary to achieving very difficult 99's. Obviously in the month or so it's going to take me to get these last 3 RC levels my total isn't going to increase by much :D
RyderJ
Total level matters more to me than total exp. Anyone can sit in Rogue's den cooking sharks to get 200m cooking exp, but for a high total, you need to be a Jack of all Trades.
Fairness
I would be extremely concerned about both, but unfortunately my attention span isn't that long, except for mining (which at level 69 also is boring) so I just accept that I suck. You're being watched.
EWSentinel
I glance at my total level every now and then, but for me its all about the individual skill levels and what they allow me to do in-game. Thats the win for me. KoAClan.org for adults

zaybex
I like to hit checkpoints in total level, but I care more about balanced skills that I call myself a Guthix skiller. :D With the exception of Summoning (22) and Slayer (39! argh) all my skills are above 40. I would like to get them all above 50 after that. ;) First skill to 70...
upthebanner
I was under the impression that levels were the only reason to play runescape. I guess that makes me a "level noob"
