Miss War
Hi, Summer has peered it's nice little cool face around again, and now i wish to do something about it, i started my account in november 2005 and since then i have gotten a 99 each summer term, Summer 2006: 99 Cooking Summer 2007: 99 Hunter Summer 2008: ....? as you can see there is a pattern, Here are my stats, I would like your opnion on what level i should get to 99 or even double levels, But a word of warning, i would like a 99 that might make me a return of atleast 1mill i would love more but 1mill would get me back on my feet, and i don't want to regret doing a 99, if it makes me financialy doomed, I have 41-43mill to spend on the skill, but like i said i would like somesort of return, i would like to know, Method on how to achieve, rough cost, equipment if needed, roughly how long, and if it needs to change at certain levels, any quests need to be done, and of course xp/h I am leaning towards a 99 in combat style, but i would like your opnion, Thanks in advance, Miss Private Chat is allways ON, So please feel free to add me, I allways enjoy a good conversation and Im also a very good listener. Zoov
Hmm you could try for 99 ranged, the only way to make money would be on metal dragons. 76 is a little low for that. A noncombat skill that would definitely return money is 99 woodcutting. Just sell all the yew logs when you finish. OR Get to 99 woodcutting, then fletch the logs and alch them for close to 99 fletching or 99 fletching as well. This would give magic experience, too. S_Redpath
Slayer!!! And do it with the intent of also getting 99 in a pair of melee skills aswell, you might not get Slayer, but if you trained Attack or strength I have no doubt you could get that in a summer. Slayer is perhaps the best way to train combat, because it's not boring at all - and the new update means it's even greater. If there is 1 skill all users should aspire to get 99 in it's Slayer. 70 is a good base to start on - and you could spend that cash you have on full bandos (and maxing str bonus), and you would make a lot of that back after you get Slayer 85 anyway. The only other skill I would reccomend would be Firemaking, because youre close to 99, but maybe get that prior to the summer, just buy a load of maples and burn them. Whatever you do - Good luck in all future endeavors. http://hiscore.runescape.com/hiscorepersonal.ws?user1=s_redpath RS History - Played for 2 months in 2005 (and was awful), Then Rejoined on January 1st 2008 - And not a moment has been wasted. davidium
train up your combat using slayer and you should be able to get a couple of 99s soon =) plus earn a bit from drops maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

Aegis Titan
Well you could do firemaking, but that would only make you lose money. If you do it with maple logs it would cost you like 2.6M. Then you could do a other skill to make the money back, don't know which one though :? ...

godsfearme
You can train woodcutting and fire making at the same time. Than get 99 fire making and either sell the rest of the logs to get money, or train fletching and get a total of three 99 this summer. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm! What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

Exodus_Flesh
I've gone from 89-93 magic rather quickly alching.. I will lose a total of about 10m to 99.. You can talk with people, have fun, and it goes rather fast.. Maybe I can just stand it though. ;) ~Zackdt
Roberthree
study for school, make sure u get a 4.0. That should be your ONLY goal. Who the hell studies over summer break? Maybe YOU should considering you can't spell the word "you", but normal people take summer break off. OT: A melee 99 via slayer is always a solid choice. The Shadow
Do a hard 99 that isn't very competitive like hunting or fishing or mining. Hunting is going to be loaded with a gazillion people this summer  I am a Tip it forum noob, give me some tips 4 free cookies.
newb4lyfe7
Maybe work your way to a lot of money during the summer (rs money...im not like the study you *** off guy) perhaps while training skills, but aim primarily on the cash involved. That way it would be easier to level in a combat skill or even just any other non-combat skill. An example of this would be to mine for coal instead of iron, or just banking iron instead of power mining for maximum profit, although thats a horrible idea seeing as you can reach for more money per hour with your stats and experience. Use the money making method you used to get to your 40mil, and use that determination of the 2 99s under your belt to reach it. I'm sure you could reach enough to virtually "buy" your way to at least 1 99. Maybe set a goal like 100 mil? 500mil? Maybe even the big 1bil. Of course if your still persistent on getting a 99 in a skill rather than the cash, which can be spent and wasted away, I'd go with slayer because it opens up the option to fight more monster for rarer drops along with a fun, different way to train your otherwise boring combats stats. (ex: most people won't train range, but a friend of mine trained his range up to 99 by doing slayer from safe spots with it. Sadly, he retired, but thats besides the point). Another very useful 99 that would help in the long run would be runecrafting, because all of the runes crafted could potentially lead to a 99 in magic as well. It all boils down to whatever you think will help you the most, because I can live with just a couple k, whereas some people can spend millions a day and not even feel the pain in the pocket. GOOD LUCK on whatever your goals are for this summer.
Lem2222
I suggest 99 woodcutting therefore you are stocked up on logs for next year so that you may be able to get 99 firemaking. Its all about thinking ahead. :D Its also possible for you to get 2 99's this summer. Quick Link to Lem's Blog

blakdragon39
I agree with the 99 slayer, as it's definitely a really awesome skill, that comes with 99 combat skills. :) I personally train range on whatever tasks I can as well. However, if you want one particular 99 melee skill, I would choose Defence, because the cape owns.

amoeba_009
Start with 99 firemaking and go for 99 defence. ;)
Troacctid
I vote 99 defence, if you want a combat skill. The advantage over 99 attack is that your attack won't matter if you go for 99 range later. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
