No, the final image created will be a png and so even if gif files are allowed the animation will be removed.

Maybe a little late to suggest, but a tiny url option? For those who have limited character space, this could be a life saver.

Our sigs are already competitive with the lengths of the Draynor, Leetsigs, etc. URL lengths.

 

 

 

Using the shortest options from Leetsigs but with a 12 character RSN, I get a URL length of 55 characters.

Using the longest options from Tip.It for a NON-custom sig and a 12 character RSN we have a URL length of 55 characters.

Edit : Actually just thought of something that will reduce the URL length of the custom sigs by ~10 characters on average. Will try it later.

However, the only good thing I can see at the moment (with all the hype that was built) is the short-urls such as my own, I hope you got some good sigs coming and unique stuff!

 

 

 

I didn't bother with the custom backgrounds/poses even though it's easy to do, simply because the amount of requests I get per day if I added the webspace all up it would eventually add up (in the long run).

 

 

 

Anywho, goodluck with your sigs I hope they're decent when they're all said and done!

I don't use drop-downs for poses, I use a huge AJAX popup with a load of poses or stuff to choose from, works much nicer.

I don't really think it needs to be unique at all, it's just an easy way to pick poses. As for comparing it to yours, our pose previews are slightly larger and actually use the same amount of poses per row etc.

 

 

 

Actually, just looking at the boxes, our pose selection areas are almost identical in size (wasn't intended).

So, it's a "pain" because YOU happen to do things differently. Thusly, since YOU like something a certain way (which is not the way everyone else perceives the world), Peter should work harder to change things to make it easier for YOU, since YOU did things differently and God knows that's the only good way to do things.

 

 

 

I totally SWEAR that is not the most egotistical thing i heard today, mostly because I got out of bed and said audibly "I am god, bow before my will!" to no one in particular.

 

 

 

I also totally "swear" that i don't think you're slanging Tif's clearly superior sigs because you're feeling a bit of signature envy at having developed a far inferior product. I do love the whole backhanded "i hope they're decent" compliment you threw in, though. I swear i totally missed it.

 

 

 

But since I'd like to think i'm a nice guy.... I think your stuff is totally great except for the crappy interface, the stunning number of stupid PHP errors that get generated when I use your site, and the overall complete lack of ingenuity that you so graciously claim exists with Tipit sigs. I'm sure with a serious amount of work that you can boost leetsigs to semi-mediocre status. Good luck!

The reason I don't use the same amount of poses per line is (if they drop down) because they're unrelated, eg: it's not the same kind of poses.

Actually that's a good idea, try to group the poses into categories in the pose selection box.

Our custom pose/background URLs now have a maximum length of 48 characters.

 

 

 

Edit : Will also be trying something else that will reduce both the custom and non-custom URL lengths by around a further 10 characters.

With the high scores up to two million it isn't that hard to get them all ranked. Another unique feature mentioned at the beginning of this thread is that if you have your overall lv ranked but one stat missing that it will do the math and put that level on there. F2p sigs are also going to be great!

Not really, most of the ideas on this thread have already been used by Draynor, Leetscape or RSB&B, albeit a few like single stat auto complete.
