bigmad
When i read blogs of some people and see their stats, I feel like [developmentally delayed]. There are 150 - 200 mil xp in 2 years. I play for 2+ years and i have 24 mil xp. How those people do that?
Shadd
It depends on how much you play... everyday for x amount of time or off and on (weeks, months, etc). How often do you play? By the way; on this 3yr old account I only have 60 mil xp :o
dragoonson
I've played for 4 years...and I haven't got 8m exp,and have never seen a million gp. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! eatrunearrow
Don't worry thats a good thing. You have a life unlike a lot of fat people on runescape who sit and play this game all day long.
Star_Fox
you must not play a lot. other note: you're just wasting time in runescape that's not helping you engage in training on skills. this account was made in 2005, almost 200m exp.
Alg
As it';s been said, you just don't play as much. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's good not to play 10+ hour days, really. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr

spyderownzyou
it's called time management -.- I'm up 30mil total xp and a 92 skill (aiming for 99 before year's up) in 1 year playing And btw I do work full time so I don't sit on runescape all day ;) You only live twice. Once when you are born and once when you look death in the face. Do not fear Death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light. But, if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity...
BloodArgon
I've played for 4 years...and I haven't got 8m exp,and have never seen a million gp. Your overall XP is : 7,991,079 4 Years = 1460 days. You earn about 5,470 XP per day. To get one million GP you must make at least 680 gp per day. Its not how MUCH you play, its what you DO when you play. In an hour, I can make 500k or so, and 40k xp. This is using green dragons. I can sacrifice and get about 50k xp at dust devils. If you sit there and chat with your friends while standing around, of course your not going to get anywhere. Smart people do things to build their character while talking over PM, clan chat, or messengers. They arnt no lifers, and some of them arnt fat. Iv played about two years, Iv had 70M in cash at once point in time, and Im 8k shy of 55M xp. I also have a 99 that about 2000 other people have (not very many) Im 160 lbs, and Iv had my share of girlfriends. Im not a fat slob, or a no lifer. I simply use my playing time to get ahead. Why? "Its a game, not a job" I dont enjoy sitting around talking, I enjoy killing high level monsters for the risk and rush of doing it. How am I gonna get there? Training. Now I also find joy in training, if I get rewards from it. Im not trying to show off, or anything like that sort. I simply use the time I play to my advantage. They're just fat nerds with no life. Bloodkay
It's all about how you use your time, Bigmad. I've played a total of 2 years over the last 4 years since I started Runescape. Having high levels doesn't mean they're no-lifers. I know quite a few people, some are friends even, who all have jobs or girlfriends, or many friends, or very high averages in high school, or a combination of any of those things. It all comes down to what you do with the time that is given to us (Lol, Gandalf, if anyone gets it). Some people manage their time well, some don't. Not many people are dumb enough to be "no-lifers" or get lazy or fat because of Runescape, I would think =\ Taking a Playstation 3 break.
BabyPunchers
I've been playing for 1 and a half years and have 63m total exp and two 99 skills. I exercise every day, maintain a six pack and have a girlfriend of 15 months. People on Rs have lives. If they're better than you don't assume they have no lives. Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie. Gin_and_Tonic
Bloodargon took the words right out of my mouth... Im in my 5th week of members, and i gained 2m+ thieving experience in about 3 days... How? I worked bloody hard and concentrated. You can gain 200k xp an hour thieving, and it requires no money at all to start. You just need to accept the fact, some people are more productive than you...
goten6456
While I will agree that some people are more productive than others, I do think that some people have different ambitions. I, for example, have had this account for about 5 or 6 years. However, I've only played about 3 of them and I've only been a member about half of a year to two-thirds. I am only level 94 with 15 mil exp and about 5 mil worth of stuff. Why? Because I want to have fun, not work. When Runescape starts to become work, I play a minigame or hang out with friends. Can some people talk to their friends whilst training? Yeah. Can I? No. Well, not effectively. Point is, some people have the will power to train stats or make money more than others. Those people do get more done, but that is because they wish to do so. However, I do think that some people simply play too much (I know I did when I first started out) so there are SOME people who have no lives, just not the majority. Now, most of us dont have a problem with distinguishing RS from reality, and we all know that if you hit someone with an axe in real life they dont drop 3gp and some bones then respawn a few seconds later. Wizz
Playing for 2 years also, never seen more than 2 mil, Most expensivest drop ever was a Drag Spear, and Highest skill is a 70........ in hunting. But I prefer to socialize really, especially C wars >.> I actually have more FUN in C wars then Training Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
Yomyth105
I feel the same. I have been playing for some time and my stats suck (at least on my old account) then i realized how much ppl actually play and to me it is pretty scary. I dont play anywhere near as much as they do. Another thing is time management. What u do. On my old character i wasted time merchanting and looking for get rich quick schemes. Instead i could have been leveling. but really u shouldnt look at urself with others. Just because someone is higher leveled than u doesnt mean u must start playing longer. RS is a game and do watever on it u find enjoyable.
Skull
I'm on 4 years myself, and my stats aren't anything to brag about. No worries though, I play for fun, not levels. Some people find hardcore leveling fun, I don't. Any way that you want to play is the right way. Except maybe autoing and rwt, but thats another story. nerdattack16
Don't stress about it, man. Do what I do. I play the game to have fun. My skills are crap, but I don't train them since I don't like to at all. I pretty much only do Slayer and Barrows these days, because that's where I have the most fun. Who needs 200 million experience and a super high total level if it makes you start to dislike the game? Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
Sumpta
Whatever floats your boat. I've played for 2,5 years and I have 151M experience. I also have a full time job, a social life, I'm looking to buy a house and I have hobbies like organising a theatre festival and playing theatre myself. Not to mention a book and dvd addiction. So how did I do that? When I play, I'm goal-driven... I usually play an hour or two before going to bed, to unwind from the day. I always have a goal in mind for the day/month or week and I try to stick with it. I like the simplicity of sticking to that goal and attaining it. It's so much easier than the complexity of daily life... RS makes a nice change from my sometimes too intellectual, complex and busy life. Other people like to hang around with friends, play the minigames,... If that's what you like in RS, there's no need to feel bad about it. Just like the high levels shouldn't have to keep on explaining that they do have a life.
acowswrath
you must not play a lot. other note: you're just wasting time in runescape that's not helping you engage in training on skills. this account was made in 2005, almost 200m exp. What do you mean "wasting time"? Do you HAVE to train when your on, otherwise, its a waste? That seems kinda stupid. Anyone who views the game like that needs to take a small break. Note-I am not flaming you, Im just pointing this out. It just depends on what you like doing. Training skills isnt fun for everyone, so they play minigames and other things instead. Some people train them anyways. You have less xp cause you play realize this game is for fun, something which I think a lot of people are forgetting. (this must be the 100th time Ive said this) BOO
