It's not even actually biting, per se, if you have really thin lips, then especially wintertimes they sometimes get bloody by themselves simply by drying out.

And I have really thin lips, so it happens nearly all the time that after a bigger make-out session they get bloody. It's not like blood is flowing or anything, it simply appears on top of lips, nearly unnoticeable layer until you lick it off and can feel the taste.

My lips are huge and I've never experienced this

And I have gotten me a date with a completely new girl for Monday. Only trouble is picking the movie :D

 

Met her on Tinder, she is 2 years younger than I am and apparently we went to the same primary school.

Also movie dates? comooooon, that's so cliché. The only couple that go on dates to movies are teenagers and people wanting a root in public. (guilty of both)

I think she hasn't been on too many dates before and she was horrified by my first suggestion of a lunch.

 

And, for [bleep]s sake, I found out that I have a class that is not on my timetable and it meant that I had to reschedule it.

And being the busy man that I am, the first available evening is Friday.

I could use a revision about touching on first date. Haven't done that in a while, only done the touching on later phases stuff...

 

But seriously, as far as I've learned about this particular girl now, she seems so socially awkward and shy that it has a bit even turned into a challenge for me of whether I can even really get her to come on a date with me. Whether I can get her to open up, even if at least a wee bit. Cause she is a pretty girl and shouldn't have to be an absentee from social events because of fear of communication.

Case in point: when I asked for her phone number, she asked me why did I even need it. She said she is active on FB and she can't answer the phone in classes anyway and she doesn't like speaking on a phone at all.

I mean seriously, if I am dealing with a girl this shy, then I have to be extra careful not to make her feel uncomfortable.

Which means definitely no licking (at least on the first few dates, if you know what I mean).

Could always say to text her. I'm the same as this girl you speak of; I HATE speaking on a phone, and usually I just contact peeps through Facebook or text.

Doesn't matter. Touch her anyways just like any other girl. If she's not receptive, then you move onto a girl that you're more compatible with. If you're waiting for every girl's "permission" to make a move, you're setting yourself up for trouble down the road.

 

 

For the first date I find a place to sit where I can put my arm around the back of her chair for starters. Then eventually I put my hand on her shoulders or on her upper back for a bit. Then I'll put my hand on her legs, hold her hand, run my fingers through her hair, caress her face, etc.

 

Just don't look at your hands while you're doing this, that's awkward. Just keep looking at her or looking off into the distance, as if it's completely normal :P

Opposite here. I usually prefer a quick phone call over a drawn out text conversation for most things. With a phone call I can know what, when, who in like 2 minutes instead of like a half hour of texting.

To back up bonez my boyf is a poor poor texter but loves to have a phone call. I personally love texting as I don't really feel like I can be honest while speaking out loud because I'm conscious of other people who could be listening. But the tone of what you're trying to say is much easier to get across on the phone

Yeah, that short text style is probably why I always feel weird sending long texts that get a lot done in one message. It can be evective, but usually I find it just annoying because people take forever to respond or make it an AIM conversation as RPG mentioned.

I think I have a date Friday? I'm confused as [bleep]. She's been acting utterly uninterested for the last week or so I thought that settled the question. I was studying with her tonight at a library with some other friends, everything seemed like it's been seeming lately. Our other friends left around 10:30,then we stayed til around 11:30 before we started talking and decided to leave. She came back to my place with me so I could drive her home because I didn't want her walking alone on campus at night. As soon as we left the library things suddenly got way more intimate though. The whole walk back to my place we were incredibly close, and I put my arm around her a couple times and such. She told me she never wanted me to have to go through a heartbreak, but that she thought it wouldn't be as bad the second time. We also talked about our plans for the weekend, and when we both ended up being free this Friday she said she wanted to get margaritas with me (ummmm yes??!?) and that she found an awesome place she wanted to take me to. By that point to we got to my house. We hung out with my roommates for a bit (also in that same student org we're in), then I drove her home. Nothing happened because of awkward car positioning but I feel really good about where the rest of this weekend is going.

 

Oh, didn't know where to fit it in but I'm going to my best friend's band's show tomorrow night and it turns out some of mine and this girl's mutual friends are roommates with another friend of mine in the band, so she's going too. So I guess I'll see her tomorrow night too haha.

 

No idea what's going on or what I'm doing but I'm just going to keep going along with it and see where it takes me haha

 

Unrelated side note, tinder has randomly been working crazy well for me. I've been getting about 2-4 matches a day this week (I got 8 just on Sunday ffs). All I did was change one profile picture and add aa bio haha. Still have been lazy about trying to schedule dates with them but it still feels good ahaha

New school year, new tinder matches. Things seem to be going aight with the girl though. Just don't do anything stupid like lick her wrist instead of her elbow. Don't be so surprised at the hot/cold behavior change. It's not any less out of the blue when we suggest we do it to girls, it shouldn't come as a surprise that girls do the same

Sad part is, she studies Medicine and so is busy pretty much every day.

Just curiously Muggi, would you suggest it a good idea to attempt a relationship with any girl you spend lots of time with regularly? I.E. share a class in school

if you want open relationships it's a bad idea. otherwise it's still not a great idea but it's not as big of a deal
