I heard JAGeX placed 5 Golden Tickets in their books to give players an opportunity to take an exclusive look at their British Headquarters. The other one was removed: "The best thing ever (that doesn't give XP)." - 'Zezima' This is most likely due to players using Zezima's name on the forums while discussing the book, which led to locked threads and hidden messages due to the Forum Code of Conduct, and the subsequent complaining by players who felt that their messages shouldn't have been removed, due to Jagex's use of the name outside of the Hiscores. However, Zezima's quote is still somewhat visible in the screenshot of the back of the book on the Jagex Store website. Zezima was asked if he wanted be involved many months before the Jagex Store was launched, but it's not clear if he read the book before Jagex Store launched too.[/hide]

I mean, making games is one things, making novels another thing. It might be cool to learn more about runescape, but I never read any of these "histories" anyway. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, Betrayal At Falador is a fantasy epic that happens to take place in RuneScape. It's not a 'history'. OT: In the time that it would take for you to get your camera and take a picture of yourself holding the book, and then upload it onto your computer and post it on the Internet, you could EASILY have read the first few pages of the book to see how good the writing style is. Speaking of which, you should do that, now. And tell us if it's good. I'm dying to know. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

July 25, 200817 yr hm, some people said things like book looks big or he is small. Honestly, its probably the size(not thick) as a phone book. Rather large honestly. Also, i am kind of curious what the story is behind the book, what warranted this book suddenly? we have yet to have ANY type of product so far that even remotely is as genuinely un-generic as a book. Mugs, T-shirts... please. i liked the idea that it might point out a quest or some type of plot of the game, hopefully its interesting. also, in during [cabbage] storm of internet tuff guys.
