Fighting at School

my school gets its fair amount of them as its a pritty crap school. some guy wants to fight me for reasons of which i dont know seeing i dont even talk to him or about him for that matter but i can only say good luck getting me to fight. for starters he's in yr12 as am i so he's compleatly childish. secondly, last i fought (more of agressive sparring) it took less then 5 seconds to perform a spinning heel kick on my friend's head and knock him out for a few minutes. i have been told by my old instructor i have fast, powerful kicks but my friend didnt listen very well. \ plus i absolutly refuse to use my arms in combat besides blocking, to me, it feel uncivilised to use bare hands to cause harm....when i can kick them in one go and finish a fued. :

 

 

 

all in all, i avoid fights, it takes alot to get me fired up and ALOT to cool me down. and i prefer the calm civilised methods. (regular Urahara)

It's not the best thing to get involved in... but i admit i've been in one or two fights during my school years. But only for reasons that i thought were justified - one fight involving racism and one for bullying others.

 

Most people don't want to start a fight infront of someone who is 6"3 :D

 

But seriously, i only got involved in fights to stop bad people - and it worked.

 

 

 

 

 

You sound somewhat like me. I haven't been in any real fights for over a decade aside from sparring, though. I can tell you one thing, however. While it is a real feat to aggravate me to the point of throwing punches, I do have certain buttons that would immediately cause me to do things to the person in question that can easily result in severe, permament damage, potentially even death. Thankfully, nobody has pressed those buttons. I am worried that this upcoming year might pose problems in that department, though. From what I hear, the incoming freshmen dudes are a bunch of little horrors, to the point that they have their female counterparts one and all in constant fear of them. The school board even modified the way classes are set up in my high school so as to avert potential problems that the difference between my school and theirs' schedules would cause. This is going to be a very rough year if what I hear about this group is true.

The counselors also breached confidentiality on a regular basis. (They told a student who was connected to my dad's church job about some things about me, including sexuality-related things.) The student got my dad fired. We were going to sue the school system and the church, but a lawyer told us that the judges were mainly fundies and they wouldn't rule in favor of us, despite the fact I was DISCRIMINATED against and that the school breached confidentiality.

 

 

 

Ouch. I think that you might have been able to sue them successfully, if one of the jury used logic. And sorry to hear about your dad's job.

If you build a name for yourself as a good fighter then people are less likely to screw around with you, like Elf said, I've built a name for myself as a good fighter (been suspended 3 times for it -.- ) and people no longer screw with me or even attempt to bully me, because they know what the result will be.

I've gotten into one fight, which was entirely unfair. I was in the first grade. The guy who fought me was in 5th. He first rammed me against the side of a bus (I was sitting down). He then got behind me, and pulled the hood of my sweatshirt up, choking me. I nearly passed out.

 

 

 

But now, I don't fight. I don't need to. At 6'2 and mostly muscle, most don't pick on me. I've only came close to fighting, last January. A bully decided to pick on my brother. My brother has autism. He thought it was pretty funny. I cursed the bully out and told him "Some people know when to shut their mouths. Others need other people to do it for them... Which kinda guy are you?" He backed off. Never talked to my brother since, and quit the job he was at because I worked there too.

When I was in Highschool, there were a few fights a year. It was mainly 'that' one crowd that were always guilty of fighting each other. And then sometimes some random kids would fight.

 

 

 

The leader of the trouble crowd was this giant [bleep]ing 6'3 Korean kid, named Jay Jay and fought Golden Gloves in Amateur Boxing and Muay Thai. This guy is a total beast, earning 4 amateur titles in MMA, 2 Boxing, and 4 Muay Thai. He usually led around his crew, other 'gangster' Koreans that had fighting experience, and they would occasionally roll with the blacks. Now the blacks are scared [cabbage]less of Jay Jay, he's an absolute monster compared to them.

 

 

 

I'm sure he has been in more fights last year, but there were only about 4-5 of them that were major. One of them was he beat the living hell out of a crowd of 10 or 11 people from another school. I think it was 4 or 6 kids that were sent to the critical care room? Stuff is intense. If you're seen this guy fight, you'd pee your pants.

 

 

 

I fight, but not in school. I fight MMA in matches and tournaments around my state. I've only been in 4 official matches, and won 4 out of 4. But those were easy matches and my opponents weren't really that impressive. So i'm training right now so in December is when my matches start again.

 

 

 

I've only been in 2 fights in school. First one, I was young and being an annoying [puncture] to some other dude, and got my shi- wrecked.

 

 

 

Second, was when this one dude was getting too close to my girlfriend, and starts talking smack about me behind my back to her. Of course her being my girlfriend, she's getting annoyed with that bloke and we occasionally laugh about it. But this goes on for too long so I called him out one day, and I knocked him to the ground with some punches and knees to the face, and left. He then got up, and pepper sprayed my eyes,(WHO DOES THAT? REALLY.) Then, I throw some blind punches and I think I knocked him out, not sure. I couldn't hear him move or anything. Maybe because he ran away, I have no clue. My girl friend ended up having to drive me back to her place to get washed up. Talk about a bad day.

 

 

 

Yeah, fighting is pretty stupid in school, why waste a good school record for something you can settle outside. Or you can just settle it being the better man and walking away. (lol hypocrite)

Well, I was picked on school and it was usually verbal and not physical. My mom said if they hit me first, I had all the right to beat the crap out of them.

 

 

 

I only got in 2 fights, but each time they started it and I finished it. Never got suspended as my principal got wind that I was picked on and that I was protecting myself. Worst I got was 10 days of detention :| I would have rather got suspended because my mom promised me Six Flags if I did.

I don't support it at all, but ironically I became popular at school after someone got into a fight with me.

 

 

 

Its just one of those things that happen, and most of the time you can't prevent someone else picking on others. I just play the passive bystander, and only intrude if things get ugly.

Not that much fighting going at my school during school but after school theres tons of fights at a close by park.

One time a guy threw a punch at me, needless to say, he doesn't exist anymore.

I have been in one fight, a kid stole my backpack and I chased him down tackled him, and then the resource officer ran over. I did all of this in a suit and tie somehow \ .

 

Then another when one when some rich senior was pushing kids around in a crowded hallway, it was mayhem 120 kids fighting, then a gun went off and everyone ran and the killed that pulled the trigger got arrested.
