I have a great reputation to have a poker face when being hustled.Then I beat up those who bully my friends.

 

 

 

Great fun playing with people's opinions of me,though it does get boring with the stares.

I came from a private grade school. The biggest fight we ever had was one kid calling another boy some name I've never heard of, and apparently it ticked him off because he slapped him up the head. The kid cried. End of fight. This was 8th grade by the way.

I fight lots because it solves problems. You can [cabbage] all you want and say it doesn't solve anything but it really does. Sometimes lippy kids need to get what's coming to them. I think fights tend to happen more often if it's a 1 sex school, I.E all girls or all boys. Fights happen often enough in my class, small ones most days and then big ones every week or 2 weeks, last fight that happened in class a guy was thrown over a desk, nothing great tbh.

 

 

 

If you build a name for yourself as a good fighter then people are less likely to screw around with you, like Elf said, I've built a name for myself as a good fighter (been suspended 3 times for it -.- ) and people no longer screw with me or even attempt to bully me, because they know what the result will be.

You had people who were part of the "gangsta scene" and people who were "rednecks." The rednecks were trashy and nasty people who only chewed "leaves" (tobacco). They were notorious for spitting the juice on people who were unlucky enough to walk by, or they thought it was funny to do that to each other. Bunch of douchebaggery, really. Anyway the "gangstas" were nasty and trashy too, but at least they only started fights with people who attack them first or they attack each other for gang-related reasons. Homophobia was rampant in the school and teachers and administrators just looked the other way when that happened. (They were all fundies. They wouldn't give a rat's [wagon] if someone was called a queer or bullied or even hurt.) The counselors also breached confidentiality on a regular basis. (They told a student who was connected to my dad's church job about some things about me, including sexuality-related things.) The student got my dad fired. We were going to sue the school system and the church, but a lawyer told us that the judges were mainly fundies and they wouldn't rule in favor of us, despite the fact I was DISCRIMINATED against and that the school breached confidentiality.

 

 

 

I'm hoping that this new school isn't the same. It's in a major city, so there should, theoretically, be more affluent people (it's not in a slum area). Then again this IS the Bible Belt. They were infiltrating my personal life and love life and they constantly tried to find out personal information about my sexuality and to see if I was a virgin or not still. When they found out such personal information about me, some trashy girls would walk up to me and say "I heard you did [this] and [that] last night. Did you enjoy it?" and I would tell them to get the hell out of my business. When they said that I would say "I heard you have chlymedia and herpes. How often do you have outbreaks? By the way, when you transferred to so and so school for part of this year, before you came back, how many men did you sleep with? Why do you always have multiple boyfriends who know nothing about each other?" (These were all true. The girl that gave me problems was the same whorish girl.) She then went to the principal and reported me. Really THEY can get into my personal business, but It's none of my business? I hate that damned school so much. I still communicate with some friends from there, but I'm kind of distanced from that school so my personal info doesn't leak into the other school. I lied and told everyone I knew that I moved to Dallas, Texas. (Just so there would be no drama following me.)

It is my opinion as both a Christian and a member of the human race that people who would pull this [cabbage] should be publically stripped, tied, and flogged for as long as it takes to drive home the message that doing this is unacceptable. There is absolutely NO way that a true Christian would pull this. By the looks of it, you might want to just call up the board of education or some members of the federal authority in order to change this. NOBODY should have to put up with that crap for what appears to me as no more reason than "sh**s and giggles". If there's any other reason, then please share it. Depending on the reason, you might be able to bring the appropriate people up on federal charges. That way, you won't have to screw with the local courts. People who do this are why Christianity gets a bad wrap, and THEY AREN'T EVEN CHRISTIAN. :wall: :wall: :wall:

I find it ironic that the Christians who are more loving and accepting are often dismissed by the fundies as heretics. Anyway I did find me a church to go to again someday. They are the most Christian people I've ever met, and they aren't even Christian. (They're Unitarian Universalists.)

He then said he would drive up there one day and kill me. I was like "Okay, what the hell ever.... So I take it you're a psychotic person, eh?" and then they paused and were like "Hello? You there, kid?" for like 5 minutes and then they hung up. I reported it to the counselors the next morning, and they brought in the kid (He denied it.) and then they dismissed him because he said he 'didn't do it.' You know if only I knew how to record conversations back then... I could have had the police track down that psychopath and arrest him for terroristic threatening...

Pretty much because I acted different than most guys, didn't engage in their stupid conversations about sex and the like, and I looked pretty. So pretty much they wanted to kill me because I had feminine characteristics or whatever. Pretty much any difference could cause hate where I used to live. It didn't help that I had a relationship with a boy and then he insisted on faking the stereotype for gay men by acting feminine to the point that it was so fake that any other gay guy would smack him across the face with the back of his hand. You're bashing Serephurus' school system for extracting personal information out of him, and calling it "unacceptable," when you're advocating violence as a comeback? I understand Serephurus' school caused him unnecessary trauma, but, ember, you being a Christian, why can't you accept that what happened has happened, and that was the past, now why not turn to forgiveness and faith? Being very ignorant in this post, you're the one giving Christianity a bad name, advocating violence, and not even thinking that with God, everything happens for a reason, so obviously God has a plan behind this. Fighting/physical force is always a last resort and strategic resource. You don't want to build a reputation for being a wreckless barbarian who picks fights with everyone, but you also don't want to be known as someone who doesn't hit back if provoked.

I have actually nearly been expelled for fighting, I avoid it as much as I can now. I was lucky when I changed schools, in a way it was nice that no one knew me because it gave my reputation a fresh start. I still have quite a few loose ends though, although I can't see them being taken care of in the future, near or not.

 

I would only use violence in extreme situations or if the offender doesn't have control of himself and needs subduing. (Remember the weekend thread?)

At my school I have to deal with it most days I am on lunch duty(thursday is my duty day).

 

 

 

It tends to be the younger kids, i.e year 7/8(11 to 13 yr olds). One year 7 even sprayed we with water for no reason. I decided it was best not to react once i hadconviscated his spraying device(a water bottle witha small hole in it).

Here's the way I see it. The group of people who done this extract some form of joy from doing what they done to Sere, and will not stop unless if convinced to. As much as I hate to say it, in some cases, reasoning does NOT work with some people. These people are of that category. As such, the only way to ensure that it doesn't happen again is to show that their actions carry a cost that they do not want to pay. Based on the seriousness of these grievances, that cost has to be similarly high. Maybe, if my way is attempted, then this [cabbage] will cease. I know that this isn't a method Jesus would use, but I'm not Jesus, nor do I have his inter-personal capabilities. Hopefully this settles your complaints. Thank you for not bashing Christianity as a whole because of my, er, "forcefulness". I have seen and experienced somewhat similar problems as Sere (for different reasons, of course), and as such take more offense to things like that.

It's not the best thing to get involved in... but i admit i've been in one or two fights during my school years. But only for reasons that i thought were justified - one fight involving racism and one for bullying others.
