Been thinking about it. depends on Cost for it + gloves/vambrace things cause I hate gloves and elbow protectors, look ugly (yes Im a fashion hoe). Wont be buying it until I sort out my new PC and replace the car. (or unless I grow horribly bored)

You don't necessarily have to buy slide gloves (though having some form of hand protection is prudent). People with any respect don't really care what you look like, at least you are protected.

Today I did very little, watched some Flight of the Conchords and American Beauty. Also re-started Ratchet and Clank 3. Now that's a damn good game. :thumbup:

Today I just chilled, made 3 litres of sherbet, had a mad fry up which involved me marinating bacon in real maple syrup, and went for a pre-summer swim. Then did a bit of underage drinking.

Work was grueling these past few days, last night I only worked for five and a half hours but we were busy as hell. I came home with blisters on my feet, and I still have to work the next two days. I assume the blisters are a sign that I need some new work shoes...

 

EDIT: Oh, and the parents are gone. House to myself. I'll see you all here in an hour.

I started rewriting my game engine from scratch today. There was roughly 35,000 lines of code after six months of work, but I was not pleased with how everything was going on it. All I could really do was load a 3d model, move around within a 3d world, interact with objects, and there was basic collision. There was no animation or physics. I am rebuilding it using some of the same code, but make everything have attributes and scripts instead of a free open world.

 

I am building it to be more of a MMO engine as well. When you interact with an object, the client will get what to do from the server and then go from there. Lets say you perform the "use" action on an NPC; a script for the NPC would look like:

It's been a hectic weekend, had what I like to call a Super Extreme Friday. Woke up at 5:30 friday morning, did school, got out at 3:30, went to a friend's house and watched Fast Times, went to see a local band play from 8-11, then went to the prerelease event for Scars of Mirrodin for MTG (bad pulls from me, my friend got a Venser >.<) was there from 12-4:30am. Went back to my place till 7am, watching tv all the while. Got to to school at 8am, marched the Homecoming parade, did Homecoming st00fs till 3:15, went to play at the Homecoming game, got back to school at 8:30, went to the Homecoming Dance, got back home at now 12:05 (on Sunday.) So while for most people it is Sunday, for myself it is still Friday, because I never went to sleep. It shall become Sunday when I go to sleep, im sleeping through Saturday in my mind. I've been up for 42 hours with only 2 Monster energies and about 15 bottles of water. And now Im off to sleep. GOOD DAY TIF.
