Handed in the permission slip for a trip to NBC studio in NYC. I looked the place up on Wikipedia, and since I was there once before for the observation deck, I decided to find some info on that. I found this amusing little gem there.

Here's how you prevent that.

 

Whenever you park your car, dig a moat around it, then flood the moat. Make it decently wide, so they'll have to jump it. If they make it, they'll be so glad they did, that when they break into your car, they won't notice the alligator you put in the back seat.

Liking the 1000/wk at my new job, I'm definitely earning it though. Most of today was using a 12" grinder, and there's a reason why even the little ones are banned at construction sites. They're really heavy, I had to work on unsecured jobs, and 1 slip/catch would have killed me.

I'm thinking about living in India for a couple of months. Only thing stopping me is the language barrier (I know enough to get by though) and the lack of internet/electricity.

Although I have an aunt in Calcutta and her son can speak pretty fluent English. They also have internet :3

But I probably won't do it.

I got my research paper back. I got a 95 :) The paper counts for 40% of our total grade :D (We only have 4 grades in the class, 2 tests, paper, final)

 

 

He originally gave me a 71, because he thought I plagiarized. I asked him why, and he said "some of it is too spot on, and your writing in general just seems way beyond a student's comprehension of the matieral." However, I managed to convince him I didn't plagiarize... In which case he said I was very astute, and gave me a 95. I asked why not a 100. Apparently I capitalized "humanism,humanistic, and human" in every single instance in the paper. Hehe. He said "you'd think if you studied it that much you'd realize you don't capitalize that." Yea... I know that. I just wasn't thinking... I think.

 

Still... This is setting me up for 3 A's, and a B. (The B would have been an A, but my computer teacher is PSYCHO)
