^I have to sing that in choir. I have the Tenor (high pitched guys) part. Gonna wreck my [bleep]ing vocal cords singing that high.

 

And it kinda pisses me off that we only have 5 guys in the Tenor portion of the quire (guys with high-pitched voices like mine are rare in high school). What pisses me off more is that 3 of the 5 tenors do nothing but sleep during the class, and the other one is ok, but he doesn't sing loud enough at all. I'm the only tenor who attempts to sing out loudly so the audience can freaking hear us.

Is it just a religious class about various religions or is it more like a straight up christianity thing?

They just sorta come in and talk about it for the hour, telling some [cabbage] story and then on the last sentence linking it to religion. Then they show some video and link it to religion. If I had any interest, I'd have joined you by now. Shut up, and let me do some English. This is probably the first time I've actually wanted to go to English, too. The worst part is that no-ones gonna be there, so it's just going to be me, one of my mates and a bunch of others I don't really talk to. My mate is gonna do some trolling and knit. Apparently the most ultimate form of protest. (He's a weird guy, but cool)

 

I really want to do some hard trolling, but no-one'll be there to enjoy it with me.

 

Apparently public schools have to have a certain amount of religion going. Our school does a little bit in our assembly, and has one of these a year to get it all done.

Here in Amehrca it's the contrary, public schools are supposed to avoid anything at all relating to religion. Still, little kids say "Under God" in the pledge of allegiance every morning, but whatever. Where I live someone preaching Christianity to the class would probably be laughed out before the end of the hour.

 

Sadface. The mere fact that someone would "laugh someone out of a classroom" is plain wrong. I mean, believe what you want to believe. I don't get this whole kick of "lets stomp out all religion asap!" (I know... Or I think I know) that that is not your opinion, but I know too many atheists like that, and it makes me sick.

 

 

What a day. Stayed up late last night wasting time, then accidentally slept and missed school, then had a meeting with a therapist where my mom basically just went on and on about how since she saw my Term 1 grades (which were a bit low in everything related to homework) she would try to get me transferred out of the house when I go to court on Tuesday.

I HATE RELIGION but yeah, I'm exaggerating. I really can't see a teacher of religion being taken seriously though, as it is obviously so subjective that even people who identify as the same religion will have different opinions.

Just made it past wave 1020 on the map Sparta on the game TowerMadness for the Itouch. It's a pretty fun TD game. Flamethrowers are the [cabbage].

Just did a Biology and History exam. Confident about history, they asked me just what I studied, as opposed to the exact opposite like usual. I love isolationism and the USA in mid-1920s

Well, instead of listening to religious propaganda for an hour, I instead joined a few of my mates and went up to the library to do some school stuff. A teacher eventually came up and fired a lazer, telling us to see her later. I was a bit worried at this point, thinking she'd ring my dad or something, and they'd obviously tell some [cabbage] about how I was leaving school or something (schools tend to do stupid [cabbage] like that) but yeah. We went to see her at recess and she told us to sit down for a minute detention. We did so and that was it.

 

Also heard many a tale of sexual activities. Seems like she's had experience. :twss:

Just a question -- Why can't a teacher teach a subjective subject? What about Women studies? Are you referring to the degree of subjectivity in other words?
