What a coincidence that the 4th of July was about exactly 9 months ago. So needless to say I'm tired. But last night was awesome, UCONN getting into the championship (we watched at hooters, pretty chill), hanging out with my bros, my girlfriend... all around good night/morning. However I did pretty much rape my hand at work today, I have like 6 new cuts including one on the palm of my hand from what I imagine was a broken bottle someone threw into one of the trash bags. I use 3 fingers when I type (Index from left, index and middle from right) when I type, and can get a speed of about 70 wpm. I'd like to double that...I think I'll practice touch typing. After leaving the store with my two Peace Teas and a bag of chips in hand, I headed to the vending machine to get a Powerade ($1.50 in the machine compared to $1.59 + tax at the store). After seeing the machine's "log" was full (I was intending to use my student card with our currency on it), I noticed the display read "$2.25 credit" or something like that. Curious, I hit the Powerade button, but nothing came of it. Until a dollar bill rolled back out of the little slit you put your dollar into. I was like: :shock: --> :smile: Pressed the button again after looking around and pocketing the bill, but nothing else came out. I then walked back to my room where I pounded these 23 OZ [bleep]s. I handed the guy who was on the register at my campus student store a $20 for a RockStar, and he gave me a $10, two $5's, two singles, and 19 cents. I didn't even realize he did until I walked out. Free RockStar + extra 2 bucks? SWEET Today I got duped into seeing Hop. It was eh. Obviously not my usual taste in movies. I also bought the new P!atD album, which so far is pretty good [way better than Pretty. Odd]. And....I learned that my local chinese restaurant sucks at making duck related foods. Also I'm not working this friday so I might have time to go on a date :mrgreen: . Bout time, I haven't been on a 'real' date since like January. or something like that. It was so awesome. I found out today that the research project for my Medieval Europe class was pushed back two more weeks...only after I did half of it thinking it was due tomorrow. Oh well, I guess I'll only have half a project to do in a couple weeks. Sweet. My little brother, Isaac, didn't win his battle... So this one's for you Isaac!!! Got the clear from the surgeon this morning to fly out to my baby girl who's waiting for me in Australia! <333!
