Fight with my girlfriend.

Verbal, I presume?

Fight with my girlfriend.

sucks.

My buddy got a sub woofer today, so we played with it for a while. Put paper balls in it and watched them bounce around in beat to all kinds of rap and dub step. Way more entertaining than it sounds.

I got an email from my college's Honors Program saying that I've made it to the final round of the school's freshman scholarship process. That means I'll be getting a $16,000 award! On top of that, I don't have to jump through hoops to get into the Honors Program.

Now that I don't have to go through the agony of seeing if I can even get into Honors, I'm really thinking of doing it. I don't really know if I want to go to grad school yet but if I can get through Honors then I'll probably do grad school.

Once again, it seems, that I won't be able to visit my girlfriend at her place. Her mum doesn't want me over any more. Doubt it will last long though as her mum is just [bleep]ing because my girlfriend is earning too much for her to get money back for money she spent on my girlfriend while she was still in school.

Congrats! that's a lot of money. I'm not a fan of honors college myself, but you can't say it doesn't look good on a resume depending on what you plan to do in the future

Finished FF XIII last night. Fun final battles but, my god, way too easy. Got the Superstar achievement (Five star rating on final boss) on the first attempt. That's an 80G achievement I barely had to work for.

There was no real difference in difficulty between them and every other enemy you faced up until then, they just had gargantuan HP stats. So basically, follow simple battle strategy for a few minutes rather than a few seconds.

Disappointing.

I can't make my mind up about where to go to University. It's between Manchester, Leicester and Nottingham. I have to make the decision before the 9th of May as well. I think I may choose Manchester because it's a reasonable distance from home however it's a very gritty city. Nnnngh, I'm pretty stressed out T_T

From my experience, its always nice to pick a uni that's in a city you aren't going to mind walking around in. Not that Halifax is the safest place in the world (5th highest crime rate in Canada, I think BC has dibs on 1-4), but a huge portion of the student body from various universities go downtown (most bars per student capita in North America WOOOO!) all time. Not one of those places where you go to University and never leave the campus the whole time your there for sure. I don't think that would be any fun.

This. Pick somewhere you're going to enjoy and where you can get out. If I'm in my dorm for longer than a few days I start go go crazy.

Going down to Florida for a week. This is going to suck.

Because Florida is such a terrible shit hole?

A) Hate the sun.

B) We're driving there. From New York.

C) Not a moment to myself for what will end up being three weeks (None this week, won't have any time alone until May 11th).

The first point makes you a vampire, just so you know. Contrary to what you may think, you won't actually burst into flames the second you go outside (and this coming from someone who risks a sun burn every time they open the front door...in the winter). But then, I actually do enjoy the sun as long as its not too warm, and Florida should still be tolerable in May.

The second one is semi valid, but I've been on up to 18 hour car trips or so, and while not particularly fun, its not the end of the world. I recommend either being the person driving, or sleeping.

The third is a valid problem. I do like my me time, and I guess you do too.

It also helps that every time I've been in Florida, I've spent at least most of the days there in Disney World (and all the others in Universal Studios). So I might be a bit biased about the Florida fun factor :P

Fight with my girlfriend.

Ditto.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Got to a party for the second time this year.

Found out that some people, much older than me and people including me went to a party at a little girl's place.

Found out that this girl was a classmate of my younger brother, who is 14.

Found out that this is [bleep]ing perverted and life is totally twisted, as some guys said they were going for "tight [kitties]".

Lost hope in humanity.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Well, that's not cool (not to mention that last bit being potentially illegal depending on the ages and if your in Canada or the US).

That's the sort of party where I would just leave.

AP Tests are in just over a week. :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes:

Ugh, I'm freaking about those too. My Chemistry teacher takes so long to explain everything that we're going to have to teach ourselves electrochemistry on our own and we won't get to review in class at all, and our physics teacher waited until last week to teach us any calculus-based physics. I think I should be able to pull off the 4 I need for credit on Chemistry, but I'm really nervous about physics because I only can get credit at my university for a 5. I feel pretty confident about my BC Calculus exam at least though.

Had a pretty good practice with my band tonight before going to a battle of the bands that one of my friend's bands was in. They didn't end up winning, but it was still a lot of fun.

Yeah I'm taking the AP Chem test too, I'm most nervous for that one. We just got done in class taking a practice AP test, make sure you do learn electrochem. It'll be on a few questions for sure. Heck, if you haven't already, just learn oxidation numbers, knowing those will probably get you a couple easy points.

I'm also taking the APUSH test and AP English Language and & Comp test. English should be easy, History should be okay, just a lot of memorizing.

History and Language are the 2 I'm taking also.
