Anyone had their wisdom teeth removed? I've been told the surgery disables your ability to talk...I'd like to know if that's true or not, so I can call for a day off at work.

 

Well, this is a bit of a coincidence. Apparently the going theory on my toothache is that it's a wisdom tooth related problem, but I'm on a course of antibiotics and painkillers first, which is going to wreck my productivity at my uni work. It still hurts. Saaaaad panda.

 

I would take the day off.

Yeah, other people told me the same. I didn't figure they would give me powerful anesthesia, but everyone says they do. I get some of my best tips on Saturday too, oh well. :sad:

It doesnt. the first 24 hours are almost painless due to the anaesthetic, but after that the next 72 hours are very painful. You cant eat solids for a week, you cant eat anything hot or spicy.

I might be sounding conceited as [bleep] but the last few weeks have really picked up my mood and made me a happier person. It's really weird since I'm on anti-depressants and all, but it's a really nice change than the shitty feeling I've had for the past 6+ months.

Today, I had the best dream I've ever had. It was during a 30 minute nap and god damn... Never had anything like it. I normally don't have dreams or at least I don't remember them, but this one was amazing. I was approached by a girl that I like pretty much, and she started kissing me and touching me. And it felt absolutely real, could feel the wetness of her lips on my neck and her touches... Only thing that made it look like it wasn't real life was when I picked up my phone, in dream and checked the time, which was 11 pm. This dream happened somewhere where there was a clock on the wall, which showed 5 pm.

 

And waking up from that dream...

God, worst feeling ever, since she seems so unreachable and out of anyone's league. And I am not the only one telling that.

Ugh, I'm buying so many video games. Far Cry 3, Halo 4 and now I'm going to get Uncharted 3. Hopefully meine brother will let me put his PS3 in my room. It's annoying waiting for him to go out so I can play his Xbox.

Anyone here been to Slovakia? Going there next week and am willing to sponge up any information I can get.

I'm planning on going there this summer with my friends. One of my friends who's coming along said that his parents told him everything's pretty cheap there, which is why we're passing by there.

 

I haven't said this yet, but this summer being the one between secundary school and higher education, means it'll be the longest holiday we've ever had, about 3 months. So in September, my three closest friends and I will go on a road trip (by bus) through the east side of Europe, going from Belgium to Amsterdam, then to Berlin, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna and back home if I'm not mistaken on our itinerary.

That ain't Eastern Europe... It is just a regular Central European trip... I feel offended if you call Poland and Slovakia Eastern Europe.

 

Today, almost my whole day was ruined by the [bleep]ing bastards at the basketball match yesterday.

Plus that lucid dream in the morning, which was SOOOOOO awesome. I only slept for 20 minutes, but that time was so intense and it felt a lot longer... And SO real.

Only got me happy mood back when I traveled back home with another girl from my class and talked with her. About that one girl aswell, who I wrote about on the relationship thread. She gave me the mission to get the unobtainable girl to the prom. And discussing about that I got me happy happy happy :)

I can sympathise with the dream that is so awesome the rest of your day sucks by comparison. I think all lucid dreams fall into that category as well, regardless of what you were doing.

I know it's not Eastern Europe. I consciously said the east side of Europe, because it's to the east from the centre of Europe.

The geographical centre of Europe is in Poland or Lithuania, depending on what is the Eastern edge of Europe. So in no way are you even making a trip to the Eastern part of Europe when most of your trip takes place westwards from the geographical centre of Europe.

 

I am from North-Eastern Europe and I am proud of it.

Honestly, I don't care enough to have a whole discussion about it. From my point of view it's to the east, but I can understand that you view it differently and your point of view makes sense too. So let's just agree to disagree, and from now on I'll avoid saying east side of Europe and just go for a trip through the part of Europe that's to the east of Belgium.

Fair enough. Btw, everything isn't that cheap there, beer for example is a lot cheaper in Czech Republic and most of the other stuff should be cheaper in Poland. I was there for a few days last March aswell, this year going for a bit longer time though.

One cool thing about Slovakia is that it is full of medieval castles and caves and I am really interested in those.

And also thermal pools. God, those thermal pools.

Like I said, it's a second-hand account. I think they were talking about restaurants though.

In the Anglo northwest, anything Slavic is eastern European. So if it doesn't sound German or Italian, it's considered Eastern.

 

At least that's the idea I'm getting from reading Anglo books/culture.

Woke up, went to school, when i got home played rs, caught 20 butterflies and got a couple dungeoneering and summoning lvls up, then trained a little bit of combat on old school.

It differs for everyone. I got dosed up on Vicodin, and I got all 4 removed before I even realized he was taking them out. I felt mildly high for a few hours afterward, but no pain or discomfort. Just weird empty sockets at the edge of my jaw line. The whole operation took like 15 minutes.

 

On the other hand, my best friend had it done and he was mentally incapacitated for an entire day he was so groggy.

I did nothing of particular interest today.

I don't know, every time i have a lucid dream, it is directly involved with something in my real life. And real life dreams are the worst kind of dream; they are the closest thing to nightmares I've ever had. I hate that feeling where everything in a dream is right except for one or two things. Too surreal for me.

 

I once had a dream where two of my female friends were dating, and I spent the whole day in this funk where nothing felt right.

I'm with you on that Tyler, a lot of my real life dreams don't feel like nightmares, but they leave me depressed/angry when I awaken. Kinda different from the childish nightmares of monsters and creatures, but I suppose it's the mature version.

I'm still waiting for my nightmares to mature past the 'horrible monster' stage, although I do occasionally have lucid dreams that are more disturbing than nightmarish.

 

I actually had a pretty bad nightmare last night. Zombies and fighting for survival and what not. Stuff more messed up than the worst zombie movie you've ever seen. Fortunately, when I got up my kids were watching Futurama so the first thing I saw when I came downstairs was Bender asking the Professor to make a woman out of him ('Bend Her', E513). Best nightmare cure I've ever found. :lol:
