Been working on my costume for an upcoming convention all day. It's going to be themed after the divide between nature and technology, with the right side being covered in steampunky-ness and the left being very natural.

 

So far it's going swimmingly.

Bah. From where I'm standing, anyone who likes apple pie clearly has broken taste buds. Also, apple cider. Apple cider makes apple pie look like shepherds pie, which can't be a real pie because it's fantastic.

 

Although, looking back I see it was peanut butter pie, which might be alright (though in truth, aside from a general distaste for warm fruit I actually just don't like pie crust). It's pretty hard to mess up peanut butter. One of my favorite foods after turkey stuffing aka butt hole bread

 

stuffing is amazing, but you are wrong on all accounts when it comes to pie.

 

Chicken pot pie is my favorite followed by apple pie. hmmm pie.

You'd like Peanut Butter Pie. It's got an Oreo Cookie Crust, and the actual pie is basically just peanut butter, whipped cream, and sugar. Super unhealthy though.

Spent today not preparing for going home tomorrow. I only managed to do laundry, didn't get backed or grab any of the stuff that needs to be sent home with Mom after spring break. :/

 

Played We didn't playtest this at all with some friends today. Haven't laughed that hard at a game in a long time. Well, maybe when I played Munchkin Apocalypse for the first time over Christmas, but this was still pretty up there. That game is better than Apples to Apples, for real.

 

Also tried to record a song today, but my mic is having such annoying issues. When I'm at home, the electrical signal in the house picks up radio signals, which records underneath my mic's recordings. In the dorm, the background noise from the fans and the refridgerator and all the other electronics I'm in close proximity to leaves a high pitched whine in the background that I can't get rid of. Spent a ton of money on that mic, and I can't use it adequately for stupid reasons. It's really annoying.

 

Oh well. Super excited to go home tomorrow, and enough things have been working out for me that I'm feeling pretty good for once.

I'm with Randox that warm fruit is disgusting, but I can eat pies that have been chilled. There are also pies that taste good warm or cold, like sweet potato or pecan.

I'm a man of simple tastes. Give me a pepper pie any day.

Last night I left my backpack on a university bus at 2:30 am while drunk and high. I know I'll get it back, but I''m concerned because I don't know if it will get searched because there is an empty bottle of alcohol in it, and I'm under age here. Would they be allowed to search that, and is it illegal for me to possess an empty alcohol bottle even if there is no other alcohol in my dorm/system?

There's surely no evidence of any crime committed there. An empty bottle isn't necessarily proof that you've consumed alcohol.

 

Although, it was probably irresponsible to get on a university bus in that condition in the first place. Be more thoughtful in future.

Honestly, seems like a good idea to get on a bus when you are under the influence. Certainly safer than driving and probably still much safer than walking. That's basically the reason why buses run so late at my school.

 

On the pie discussion, I like all pie for the most part. I don't like peanut butter, so that one would be out of the question. Other than that, as long as it is a well made pie, I will probably love it.

Personally I like boston cream pie. The pie that is basically a cake.

Yeah, my friends wouldn't let me stay at any of their dorms and I've never had a problem with the bus before, and I've been on there in MUCH worse condition than I was last night. But whatever, at least a bus driver found it. I just hope I can get it back before my physics class on Monday... Haven't had any luck getting a hold of the lost and found today so I guess I'll have to try Monday morning, as much as that will suck.

Yet one more celebrity setting the bar impossibly high for the average male. As much as I disliked 'N Sync, I will admit that I enjoy his solo stuff a lot.

Not seem much of his solo stuff, though I really like him in lonely islands songs.

 

The most delicious thing I have ever eaten in my life is a butter and peanut butter sandwich on white bread, folded in half. That first bite is seriously a trip to heaven itself. Peanut Butter and chocolate is a very close second, followed by turkey stuffing.

 

Today I watched, and am watching, a lets play of factorio, a game which could very well cause me to vanish off the face of the earth for a day if I buy it. I also neded way out and lost an hour, and when I was done I had, what is now, about 2800 words on my ideal zombie game. I've never actually thought it through start to finish before, and I think I managed to combine pretty much the best elements of the main inspiration games of DayZ, left 4 dead, grand theft auto (setting), star wars battle front, subspace/continuum, and minecraft, into one coherent game. Essentially scavenging supplies from a world slowly being covered in a massive horde of zombies to outfit you base for a couple hours, before a massive showdown. Or if you have a few minutes, the full deal where I walkthrough the main inspiration (about a thousand words) and the game itself (the rest) it's on my blog. Other people have zombie survival plans, I have a zombie game.

I also recently discovered these a month or so ago. I felt my blood sugar levels skyrocket after just one. It was awesome. I literally had to stop eating them after like 8 or 9 because it was just too much for my body to handle, and that takes a good deal of dessertiness. Awesome stuff.

 

Today I worked 14 hours, had some after-wrk beers with a coworker. Decent time, average day. Real pissed at myself for not making st patty's day plans. As an Irish Russian who drinks something like 4 times a week, you'd think I'd have something lined up.

Just wanna say have a great St Paddy's day everybody!

It's not just an excuse to get drunk, it's a way for everybody to come together and have a laugh!
