So I've got a easy story laid down so far for my game, I've gotta do character developments, then design a generic map for the environment for my game, then term 1 is finished, and I get mai Laptop a week later ;3

Turns out i might have ADD. If it's so, won't be able to be a pilot for a while.

Why would this being diagnosed affect becoming a pilot? If it is found you have it then you've had it the rest of the time during your training/school.

Well you're not supposed to fly when you have ADD since it might keep you from performing certain duties the way they should be performed. It can be controlled with medication, but those meds are usually not approved by the authorities.

Today I finished my first placement which has lasted 11 weeks. I love working when I can see that my efforts make a difference and I definitely feel like I've achieved that over the last few months.

It feels like leaving a job. We have a week off and then go back to uni, but I'll wake up all next week with a big hole and nothing really to fill it with. :(

Man, you are going back some time there... three or four years at least? Good memory.

My main point is if you are shown to have it, then you have had it for a while. Therefore there should be no difference in your abilities or training as you have already proven that you can do it perfectly fine (so far as I am aware). Not how the system works, but how it should work. A sudden diagnoses shouldn't change the entire outlook upon you/abilities when without the diagnoses you would of been put through.

Unless this is something an instructor noticed before you go to that point.

Hey everyone, I remember this thread !

1900 pages plus and still going ! I used to post on these forums a fair while ago. I stopped posting after several bans (and subsequent appeals hahar), so it's been about 18 months since I last posted anything, and over 2 years since I was 'active'. I did spend way too much time on the TIF OT forums between 2007 - 2011, but those days are gone.

Any veterans still around ? Dark_Aura, y_guy, felix, istolethepie, wongtong, lateralus, rpg, dizzle, furah, nick64 (?), rebdragon, magekillr, jaerkdude, how2pk, LP, jeffwilson, shiny, silversword, rangethis, deathdrow, daxter, skull_emblem, nadril, warrior45 - regulars on OT back in the day. Unfortunatley that's all I can name off of the top of my head, but if any of you guys see this, respond !

d'aww I made someone's list <3

You wouldn't happen to be adrenal would you?

y_guy changed his name, as did istolethepie and a few others. I'd say almost half of your list is still around though :)

Today I was stupid and went to see my latest crazy. I'm going to her party on Saturday, but i swear I'm done after that. I don't even know why or how I managed to be around her today. She makes me far to angry to keep around any longer. I've already told everyone I'm done with it, I just can't seem to stick to it. But I'm working on it.

Today was the senior prom. And as you might imagine, I am not totally sober.

But, had fun. Dances with many girls. And the afterparty was mighty fine with us guys occupying a table and having a good time.

But tomorrow is going to be tough...

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Actually, i have to say i agree with you 100%. No one has ever been able to notice this of me whilst flying. The thing is though, the planes we fly are very simple compared to Airliners. We don't have half the instruments they have, and most of theirs are a bit more complicated to operate. So while i'm doing just fine now, flying a small 4 seater, things might drastically change when i'm put in a plane that carries 200 people with 400 different buttons and stuff.

I'm not too worried at the moment though, because i've never really experienced any sort of attention deficit while flying. I actually feel like i'm way more focused when i fly than any other waking moment.
